OoOoo! You cannot imagine my surprise when i sat down to watch your video an you pulled out a pic of my butterfly clusters as your pinterest inspiration! You could have knocked me down with a feather...LOL. i am so happy that you were inspired by my humble scrappy clusters. Those butterflies are actually just stickers. I love how yours came out, i particularly like the green and blue ones too :D Thank you for sharing xo
Oh my gosh, how exciting, thank you so much for letting my know that they were yours, I LOVED them. Wow, I just love the internet and how it brings us all together, I feel really excited to have heard from you, this is going to be my highlight of the day today x
@@shabbydabbydoodah :D so nice to 'meet' you this way! LOL cant wait to see what else you make in this series xo
i recognize you’re name from Natasha at Treasure books. This is so cool, what are the odds you would see Tinas video.
I have a cork board to put my "favorites" on so I can keep looking at them. That's my holding place. And I've just made myself a junk journal for my favourite art pieces.
What a fantastic idea x
Pro trick : watch series on Flixzone. I've been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Maximilian Gage yup, I have been using flixzone for years myself :D
@Maximilian Gage definitely, have been using Flixzone for since november myself =)
I totally believe that a messy desk is helpful. My family is always crying about my mess but I know just where my perfect bits are. These are really cute
I couldn't agree more, I find my messy desk so inspiring. If I can't see everything all over the desk, I just forget it exists, lol x
Love love love the butterfly clusters simply gorgeous
Life is like a butterfly🦋take care Tina
Thank you for the inspiration. I love these clusters.
Thank you x
I love these butterflies! They are awesome on the clusters. Very lovely!
I find myself saving back a few favorites for my own journal. These are so cute.
Enjoying this series. These are beautiful and the neutral colors makes them easy to use in lots of different places!
Thank you Debra x
I love all things butterfly...these are beautiful!! 😊💖🦋
Another awesome and quick project.
Thank you x
What a great idea! Wonderful inspiration and nice and quick!
Hi Tina:
I can tell you really enjoyed making these beautiful clusters. The large card turned out fantastic! I wouldn’t let it go either. Don’t ever feel bad about hoarding your creations. I don’t. Admire them as long as you want! Just bought a pack of 3D butterflies last week at the dollar store. Thank you for showing me what to do with them. 💜😎
Oh that's fantastic Joanne, great timing for using your new 3d butterflies. Yes, sometimes we have to hoard our favourite things don't we? x
I’m loving this series Tina ❤️. Keep em coming!
Thank you Mary x
Super cute! And I love the journaling card too. I feel you with the hoarding stuff you make. One thing that is helping me is taking a lot of photos of things before I part with them. It's making it a lot easier to let go.
It's really hard to use things sometimes isn't it? Great idea though to photograph things before parting with them x
Adorable clusters and so useful! Love this series so far, Tina! TFS the inspiration!
Thank you so much Gail x
You could always make a book of your favorite makes, to enjoy for reference and inspiration. I horde my favorites too. 😉
Great idea Bonnie. Why do we do that? Lol x
Love this project .Thanks!
So stinking adorable, tfs stay safe my friend 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Thank you! You too! x
Why do I forget about clusters for using scraps?! So.many.scraps.
These you made are lovely.
Love&hugs😘
I think you have to be in the mood for clusters, but they are really addictive when I do make them x
Another great idea!! I love the blues and stitching just adds the perfect finishing touch....love!!
I just headed back to work this week so I've missed being able to watch these! Off to binge watch and catch-up!!
Oh thank you Kerri. Hope you had a good week back at work, and an even better time binge watching to catch up, lol x
Tfs. I have never seen the embossing in such colors. I like the antique linens over the vintage photo. I will have to look for them. They look wonderful.
Yes, I agree the vintage photo is super dark x
Gorgeous clusters Tina 😍😍😍they would make fantastic tags too ❤️stay safe lovely xx
Thanks so much 😊 x
So cute. Pretty 🦋 butterflies.
Thank you! 😊
Fantastic idea Tina, the look lovely, you need to make yourself a journal to keep favourites you want to hoard, then you will always have them to enjoy tfs xxx💕
Thank you Susie, great idea for making something to keep with my favourite things x
I know you did this video quite awhile ago but ,I think the ring you are wearing is my favorite, it's just so beautiful. 🤗
Hello Tina, I really like how your clusters turned out... Great inspiration from Pinterest... Have a wonderful evening 😚
Thank you! You too (day, lol)! x
Thank you for linking the source this time. Nice to see your take and great that the inspiration can be found/followed as well. 🙃
Thank you, I totally forgot last time x
These butterflies are beautiful, love your clusters 🥰💕
Thank you x
Oh, I love those! Clusters are one of my favorite things and those are gorgeous! I’ve made butterfly ones but those 3D take it to another level! tfs ❤️🦋❤️
Thank you so much Jo Ann, I was really chuffed with how vintage and pretty these turned out x
@@shabbydabbydoodah I’m not familiar with the term ‘chuffed’, lol, I’m sure it’s something positive because those are gorgeous! I love learning different words or sayings from other countries! Such fun!!! 💕
Fab idea! So vintage looking! 🦋
Thank you! 😊
Nicely done, Tina! Love the journaling card. Thank you 💕💕
Thank you Tracie x
Thank you so much!
Hi, Tina, those are so cute! You have lurking butterflies!😂😂 Love your ring again!😍 Your hands are fine, you’re a crafter!😁 Floating lace!😁 You’re so cute to this little gramma, kinda like you’re my daughter!😁 I think the weather has been weird everywhere! Here we say right up my alley!😁 Tina, NO hoarding allowed!!
Lol, thank you so much Margie. I really appreciate all your kindness. Thank you :-) . Just a little hoarding maybe....... lol x
Yes, my dear. I do the same thing. I have a bunch of things hoarded back that I love the way they came together or color combination. Like you said, just crazy, but a good and fun kinda crazy🤣
Lol, so pleased I’m not the only one x
These are very pretty. That brown is very dark.
I used pop dots all of the time and probably will when I get started up again.
Yes the vintage photo glaze is really dark isn't it? Those dots are handy aren't they? x
Ooh your butterfly freebie would be great for these! 😁
Great idea, have fun with these x
Love love love. I think I’ll try create some today. I always struggle with clusters and these seem like something I can do. Thank you!!
That’s fantastic, have fun x
This looks like great fun. I don’t have embossing powder but I will give this a try. They are all beautiful, my favourite is the green one too! 🇨🇦
Thank Bernice, that green is really lovely isn’t it? X
I love messy hands. Long live the messy and mess making crafters 😊 Your ring is almost broken china distress colour. I have started using the card bands that seem to live round lots of foods and my hubby saw me take one out of the clean recycling bin and said “Your not hoarding those?.......” 😁love these. I must admit I’d forgotten about Pinterest although I’ve got loads of other things saved. Oh dear, more rabbit holes! x
Lol, your hubby must think we're all mad!!!!! Yes, I have retrieved things out of the clean recycling too, haha. Yes my ring is that kind of colour isn't it? Yes, I think we spend half our time down various rabbit holes!!!! Hope you're having a good week x
Amazing butterfly clusters thank you so much for sharing am off to make some love them xxx
Oh thank you so much, I hope you enjoyed making yours x
WOW!!!
I can see why you could(or will lol)hoard your clusters and journaling card Tina, they are gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous!
Your favourites are my favourites lol!
Gorgeous work, Tina! Really enjoyed your video!
Its stinking hot here so you can pass along your nice winter weather this way lol!
Take care,
Hugs.
Kylie X
Lol, yes I am still hoarding them!!!! Haha.
It's pretty chilly here still, and raining, if only we could just pass a little of each, we would have the perfect day. Take care x
Fabulous idea Tina l have a lot of butterflies from your gluebook favourites set 1, nice easy sofa craft session later loving this series x
Yes it's a great sofa craft session project. I am thrilled that you are enjoying this series x
I absolutely love these. I am enjoying this series immensely, Thank you.
I had that same experience with the Tim Holtz embossing glaze. It gets dark very quickly. Which...is great if you are making a steampunk or other darker grungy feel project. They also have a kind of pitted texture - which is also very nice. What I think you can do - since butterflies are inherently not grungy and the vibrant colors are what we are drawn to - is to bring back the color with some glitter or resin or pebeo Moon paints. Something that will contain its own brilliance and the dark edges will set it off. Very nice Pinterpretation!
Thank you Susan for the brilliant tips for bring back some of the colour, I will try and remember that, x
Btw, I might just be the last to have heard of it, but I loved the phrase Pinterpretation x
These butterfly clusters are lovely, Tina!
Wow wow absolutely love these, I'm meant to be decorating today but feel the urge to make these... Decisions, decisions 😂x
Lol, these!!! x
This is almost my favorite series you have done! I also have to tell you after you used your perfect pearls, I dug mine out (I won in a basket raffle) and have used them! What a game changer!!!!! LOVE your channel, LOVE your mess!!!!!!
Thank you Terri, and so pleased that you were able to finally use your Perfect Pearls. Thank you for your kindness x
You make me chuckle with your hoarding as I so can’t wait to use up my stash to make room for more. Love these, so pretty.
Lol, that's a whole other problem isn't it? Not only hoarding, but can't stop adding to our stuff!!!! What is it with us crafters??? Haha x
So cute.
So gorgeous 🥰 Thanks for the inspiration 🤩
Thank you x
Those turned out so nice! TYFS
Thanks so much! x
Love all your wonderful ideas and tips. What fun! I have a tip about sewing clothesline style and saving lots
Of thread. Just sew from one cluster to the next and end up with a string of them and no long threads to cut.
Thank you Donna, I will try that method for sewing, it would definitely be nice to not have to rethread a bobbin so often too x
@@shabbydabbydoodah 😍😍
Lovely. Must say I would have tried the green butterfly on the pink pattern paper cluster and for sure I would have fussy cut the card of butterflies (but I don't have an abundance of butterflies like you do). TFS Tina. Great project. 🙂
Lol, thank you Donna x
They are beautiful! I love the idea of using embossing powder on the butterflies! I can't wait to try this Tina!
Thank you my friend kisses ♥️ ♥️ 😍 😍
Thank you, hope you are having a great week x
Your take on these is beautiful, Tina. Thanks!💕
Thank you Sue x
these are so adorable, tfs
Thanks so much! x
Cute clusters! Thank you for sharing! I hope that you have a blessed day!💙
Thank you! You too! x
@@shabbydabbydoodah Thank you!
I love these !!!
They are all pretty, but my preference is the ones that you used the antique linen on.
I totally understand your not wanting to use your faviorites. You could just make a journal with all of your faviorite pieces and keep it for yourself. It could be your example journal !!
Thank you so much June, and great idea for making a journal with my favourite pieces that I can't bring myself to part with. xx
Yes, I understand not wanting to part with your favourites! I hadn't heard of the Distress embossing glaze. While having a break for lunch downtown I went into a little shop and low and behold, tattered rose embossing glaze! Of course I bought it. Upon getting home I realized I didn't have anything to adhere it with so...I tried my glue stick and it worked! It does have a lovely mottled effect which I don't know if it is supposed to look like that or it is because of the glue stick. Anyway, pleased with the result and am using the glaze on everything in sight...if only the cat would stay still! :) Hugs and blessings, :)
Haha, oh Laura you just make me laugh so much, I think you and I have the same sense of humour!!! Still laughing x
Gorgeous little clusters 😍 those foam dots are perfect aren't they? Lol must remember that! I agree the brown and blue and the green ones are beautiful lol I'm such a hoarder too and usually make things for myself with favourites instead of on projects for other people. 💖
Thank you. Great idea to make things to keep when using your favourite things x
Some things are just too yummy to part with 😄x
Those blue butterflies are exactly the same as a freebie artymaze has on her website for others wanting to make these. Again I'm the first to comment, yay! Hi Tina, hope you're well.
Oh that's awesome Megan, thank you for sharing that. Yay, first to comment again!!! :-) Stay safe x
Love love your channel
You say it looks lovely as it is and YET lol you have added two things. That’s so you girl. I’m giggling so hard
What is wrong with me?? x
Wow, another great project!!! Thank you for all the great ideas 😁
Thanks so much! 😊
Love these. Nice job!
Thanks so much! x
Beautiful 💞💐🙋🏻
Thank you so much 😊
I love these. And I'm so glad I'm not alone...with my hording disease...hording really is 'a thing.' Legit.
It's terrible isn't it? I think there are a lot of us out there that are the same though x
I love clusters ❤❤❤
Me too Laura, it just took me a while to get the hang of them!!! Lol x
Hi Tina, these are so cute!! I love clusters!! I do the same thing when it comes to making favourite pieces. Wait, are you insinuating that’s a problem? 🤣🤣. Have a great day. Hugs 🤗
Lol, no not a problem at all!!!! Haha. Have a great day also x
Lol, you make me laugh about the hourding. Just yesterday I made a set of tags and I told my hubby that I cant use these until I've looked at them for at least a couple of weeks. So I keep them on my desk until I can let them go.
Lol, I am never sure whether holding on to things makes it easier to part with them or whether I just get more attached! X
HI TINA-YOUR CLUSTERS ARE SO PRETTY-TFS-HAVE A LOVELY DAY-HUGS/BLESSINGS
These are amazing, yet again another brilliant tutorial. It’s funny I always refer to butterflies as him, had to smile when I heard you say it too. I have some wooden butterflies, which I might emboss with the glaze and use them. I tried to buy the antique linen embossing glaze but they won’t deliver it to my address but they will the vintage photo, strange. Love your blue ring. Xx
What a shame that they won't deliver the antique linen to your address :-( . Still you will have lots of fun with the Vintage photo, although I have found it very dark, so you might want to use it on lighter pieces? Great idea for the wooden butterflies. Thank you for liking my ring x
Super cute ❤️❤️😍😍 TFS 😘😘😘😘
Thank you Dana x
LOVE these!! And, LOL, I am also crazy like you... hoard all the extra pretty things coz I can't bear to use them 😂😂
Lol, lovely that I am not the only who does that x
Love it
I have a few of those that I can’t use. I got some antique German newspaper from Rachel. It took me 2 years before I used it. Omg really we have a problem. Oh lol I remember when she made the Barbie clothing. Lol.
Lol, your hoarding the German newspaper for 2 years! That is so like me, although tbh I am surprised that you ever used it, I am not sure whether I would have still been hoarding it!!!! Yes definitely a problem!!! x
Super cute
Thank you x
Lovely 💞💞
Thank you x
First video I've seen someone use different color inks. Thanks for this. Can you link the products used for the embossing?
I am the same in hording the things I make or buy that I love to much to use. Yea what is that? LOL It must be a crafter trait.
Lol x
so cute😊🦋
Thank you x
I'm a "hoarder" also Tina, so don't feel alone in this, lol. I have too make myself use some of the things I hoard, bc the Hubs keep asking, "if your not going to use them, why buy them?" Ohh, men just don't understand do they? hahaha
Lol, yes you're so right, men just don't get it do they?? Haha x
Can you link the products used for the embossing? Also, couldn't you make these with bits of fabric and maybe use buttons where the butterflies are?
I love the thin netting on these verses the heavy cotton lace. Just saying. I love the colored butterflies vs the dark brown embossed ones. I thought they looked dull. I think the heavy embossing powder was too dark for me. Thanks for trying that. I won’t be ordering that.
Lol, it is quite dark isn't it? I do love it though, have used it on several things, mainly the antique linen rather than the vintage photo shade, as that is dark x
What do you do with the clusters once they’re finished? I’m new to this.
They can be used anywhere in junk journals, tags, pockets etc, or just as they are x
It’s snowing we have 15” of snow and this evening the temperature is -10 below zero. More snow coming.
Oh my gosh Sherry, it feels like it's been snowing for ages there!!! x
It is easier with those sticky pads
What do you search for on Pinterest to find your inspiration? I'm a newbie and need all the inspiration I can find 😊
You could search Junk Journal, Junk Journal clusters, Junk Journal Ideas? I'm sure you will soon find yourself down the rabbit hole from any of those x
@@shabbydabbydoodah Thanks for the answer 🥰
Tina what birth sign are you? I really cannot cut straight and if I attempt to cut something that was 5” square ends up a 2” square and it’s still so crooked it goes in the bin, truly. The Worlds worst cutter with scissors, fussy cutting I have no problem, I think I must have strange eyes
I am Cancer, and I really do have lots of the traits of a typical Cancer, we are especially home-loving, and that is really true of me. Yes it's weird isn't it? Fussy cutting is somehow so much easier than cutting say a circle or a square x
🌞❄️🌞❤️🌞🇨🇦
I so would of copied that card into my computer before I used it.
I should have x
