I like Nathan’s reviews, he’s in point and hilarious! 👍
Absolutely agree.
That insignia on the vehicle, seats and steering wheel is the regiment insignia of the British SAS (Special Air Service)
Thanks for confirming the SAS. I was not sure.
Those guys are hard core. I believe Ian Fleming’s James Bond was former SAS.
"Who Dares....Wins"
thats Rupert Murdochs car... ive seen him at the Starbucks where i work
Bear Grylls is my guess
Awesome video. These guys have such a great sense of humor. "This vehicle would actually make Tommy grow facial hair." Some other channels are so dry and technical. These guys give you information and a laugh. Thanks Nathan
Love how Nathan often takes creative, funny shots at Roman. So well-deserved, too!
😒ASE9875050899T8392398A
I love these just hate how the starting price is $200k definitely a dream car
@Abel Harbour really, rebuilding from ground up, American engine and tranny swap, upgraded (in other words they work) electronics.
These are not the pos work horses ya have in ireland..
That Land Rover is sick... shout out to the owner
Apart from the cringey SAS badges.
"Alot of people that buy these dont know how to offroad". Truest statement of the year my friend #FACTS
That is one awesome Defender with some major American muscle. Love to know the 0-60 as it isn’t the heaviest.
Love it
Fantastic
Very much a custom Defender
I hope the lucky owner really enjoys it
👍
I like when Nathan does reviews!
He's one of the best.
Sweet build. A reliable Defender, unlike the new ones.
Nathan you nailed it with macho stuff!
That’s a beautiful looking defender. Great video!
Finally somebody review one of these builds🧐
For that much money, I would be highly disappointed in the fit/finish of that interior.
Great review - and I want one too! That setup was awesome
I can't wait to see your build! You have to go for it! 🙂
Thanks guys for the great content.
Now that's my kind of D110! The only thing I'd change is back to a set of OE white 12 hole steelies, maybe widened for the bigger tires. Not sure what this costs, but if I have to ask..............
nathan is the jack black of TFL lmao 6:21
Excellent review!
You guys need to do something with Jonathan Ward from ICON 4x4. Their version of the FJ is my dream vehicle.
Fabulous review.👍🏼
We were doing that years ago using the Rover V8 aluminium motors, and up specking the diffs!
Awesome Nathan ! While you are in Florida, you need to go visit Renntech in Stuart Florida. 1.5 hours from Orlando. Hartmut Feyhl the owner of Renntech brought AMG to the USA in 1986. He and his company are the preeminent Mercedes Benz tuner .. I’m sure he’d love to share some of his creations with you guys !
Awesome review, incredible customization to an awesome LR Defender ... X O California
I don't think you mentioned it in the story, but was this custom built for a particular person?
Yeah I was wondering the same thing 😂
Wow! A Land Rover that isn't rubbish.
Interesting. This is where $ can do what you want. IF you have it. :). The exhaust note did not seem any different between the 2 settings. Shame they went with GM product power plant. But to each their own. Great to see Nathan getting in on the travels to other states. :)
There are several companies in MN like Bishop and Rook they start at 12k fresh from the UK and you can go up to that style or build it yourself which I think is great!
THEY MADE THE LR RELIABLE AND FUN , NATHAN PROVES THAT
My dream truck in every way except the orange interior. Wow how fun would that be in Colorado!!!! Get the owners name amd invite them out.
it might gives tommy some facial hair, hahahahahah, nathan is hilarious😂😂😂
I have a 99 Rover HSE 4.6. I am gonna look for a used vette engine n see if I can make it a sleeper
Great video guys as usual, for another interesting LR Defender conversion search for Tesla Defender or EV Land Rover Defender, you won't be disappointed.
The emblem is British SAS badge.
Make sense.
Yep, plus colour means Bear Grills 👍
Bear grills knife is the same colour.
Nathan This thing or a G Wagon? Love to see that comparison video
Love it!
TFL and coffee mornings are awesome.
Any chance of doing a review of a NAS Defender?
Wonder what axles it's running?
Awesome!
Is it more reliable?
At last a land Rover with a reliable engine and Air conditioning. Nathan is really funny without Hamming it up like Andre.
waooooo My dream motor car old model Land Rover Defender''',,,,i love this is perfect old model style Land Rover''
thats what im working on right now gen4 5.3 or ls6 paired with 6L80 transmission and an adapter to connect to my lt230 transfer case
Similar, having an LC9 (5.3) and 6L80e transmission put in my ‘85 Ninety SW.
Now that's how you do a video on a cool vehicle and make it fun!
Great presentation Nathan. Love the humor.
Someone at the local Cars & Coffee has what appears to be a stock 1967 Mercedes 190D, until you pop the hood and see a Corvette engine.
LS the world.
I like it.
The last review I watched from Nathan he made fun of Roman's hair care products. This time he made fun of Tommy's facial hair. Nathan you should make fun of Andrea in your next video.
The emblem on the steering wheel is that of the British SAS (Special Air Service), so the owner may be former UKSOF.
It's got cxjones!!
My guess is it's Bear Grylls'.
Why is there a SAS insignia on the seats though???
Now its worth driving
Definitely would option cummins
S.A.S. Special Air Services "Who he dares wins".
It’s just “Who dares wins”
"Who dares wins" this is British SAS military unit logo.
That is pretty bad-ass. Not a fan of the orange interior myself. Unfortunately I can't afford one. If I could I would get cloth seats and rubber flooring though.
Good
An LS3 in a classic Defender? Sure, go for it.
Air suspension in a classic defender? Burn in hell.
What happens? It gets more reliable, that’s what happens.
I love the rear seating! I wish they made something like that with a more modular, owner customizable design for a much better price that’s not a jeep.
I'd take/build this over a G63!!
Jump seat prop is supposed to face back towards the base of the seat, not out towards the middle of the vehicle.
Your video editor needs to step up his game next time Nathan says something would give Tommy facial hair I expect to see that image flash up on screen! LMAO
It becomes reliable. That the answer to your question.
That seems to be an SAS logo on the steering
That looks expensive lol.
Not too much on everything makes it perfect
Hmm this costs more than a flagship Range Rover V8, a Merc G63 AMG and Bentley Bentaga (diesel)? That's a pretty tall order...
Whoever this customer is RICH or less richer after this purchase
So, is the owner an Author...... Needs Gullwing rear window but awesome :)
Robin Masters aka Higgins. Not SAS but close enough.
You need to do a story in a Jonathon Ward.
Probably one of the most reliable Land Rovers ever 😂. Yeah I'm sure there's Land Rover owners with to 300,000 miles on their vehicles. But for the most part all I ever heard was headaches. I even spoke to a Salesman once from a Land Rover dealer, he said some of the clients Drive the rentals more than their own cars. Maybe the old stuff was more reliable?
I sold my 2007 L322 (Full size) Supercharged Range Rover with 335,000 miles on its original engine & transmission. My mechanic told me that wasn’t heard of on that engine.
I would sell my arm for this truck...
Was the owner able to build it how he wanted? Did he choose all of the options? 😂 was it custom for the guy who ordered it? lol
There is a better life, only it is more expensive 😉
Rogan has one
I'm buying this with my lottery winnings
I guess orange is the new black.
Awesome rover...except the orange interior, little too much orange. Just a personal taste thing. Orange piping and stitching only on the seats would be enough for me.
Easily the best Defender I’ve ever seen.
The orange is Bear Grills company colour.
@@jamest5149 Bear Grylls....yeah. Like I said it’s a personal taste thing
Nathan and Andre make this channel, hands down.
It becomes more reliable
Bear Grills?
I will take the electric powered one with 180kWh battery and 400mile range with 4 in wheel hub motors 600bhp from the Amsterdam based The Landrovers
How does Nathan know where to trim his neck/chin beard? It all one unit!
Dana White maybe?
What happens when you put a vette motor in a toyota? Lose reliability ?
Those motors are actually pretty dependable.
I'm sure there are other people that slap a Chevy v8's in their Tacomas, lift them and put super swampers on them . Especially in the south.
I’d take that over the Urus reviewed elsewhere on TFL
I'd stick to 300 TDI
…one of the FEW things we do well..?😑. 😁
I bet this thing is at least $250,000.
What, no burn out
It's 4 wheel drive...
Nice video. B U T, that is NOT at ICON level. Not at all. (kind of ugly IMHO)
These are great but no one talks about the lack of safety features in these $200k+ vehicles. No air bags, and barely any protection or side impact, etc.
You're missing the point of this vehicle...whomever owns this most definitely has a late model vehicle with all the safety features as well.
@@stanludorf2311 I don’t think so. US can only import 25 years and older. From what I’ve read, one of the reasons defender left North America back in 97 was due to the air bag and other safety regulation which they didn’t want to build into this vehicle. It would be good to see the list of safety features these customs do come with or are able to build in.
@@denishb6587 no one cares about safety features on a toy like this.
For a Old SUV?????
It breaks down faster
Bear Gryllis????
