Great video. I noticed the manual states the specer is only used for the low profile and extended reach jacks. Says not to use with 3T and 4 T standard jacks. I just bought one for my Daytona 4 ton jack.
@mickeyj4228 I really love my Daytona jack.
I remember when they had a Pittsburgh Automotive version of this in the past. Passed up a chance to get one on clearance for $50 or so when the new Daytona version came out. I wonder if there are any major differences.
michaspi I really like this jack.
Probably not
I put my ring under the bar itself. Like between jack and cross member. Its very snug, but i want mine that way. Dont really want the cross member to have any motion personally but i can see why some people would want the rotation
The threads for the Jack plate that receives the connector bolt were all dirty from factor and ripped up when I took out the original saddle bolt. Makes me mad, now I have to either return it or run a tap through it
Will it work on the Pittsburgh Jack?
Well explained.
Thank you so much❗️
Hey T, did you check out the new Harbor Freight on Rte 2?
Funny you should ask Bryan. Going there later this evening. Haven't been there yet.
Just got out of that new HF. It's really nice. BTW, I'm 💲134.00 lighter...😳
Where did you get the bolt to hold it on? I didn't receive anything like that in the packaging.
@chilliwhiggerE It comes with the kit as shown in the video. You are missing parts. Look at your manual, it shows the pieces that come with the unit.
@@starastronomer I didn't get the cross beam connection bolt with either the jack or the cross beam. I did some additional research and found out that the part number is 22919 and I'm going to call Harbor Freight customer service later on today. It also did not come up on the Harbor Freight site.
Thank you for your time and your response.
@@starastronomer I talked to them today and they are sending me one no charge. I'm going to assume that it is not a unique situation.
You just loosen it up a tiny bit to put slack on it.
Lol it's $5 more rn
