Geez, I look like a terrible friend, as you’re laying on the ground I’m just standing there filming you 😅. I doubt anyone will be able to comprehend just how slippery that was. I’ve spent hundreds if not thousands of hours riding in there and never experienced anything close to that. It’ll go down as one of those “you had to be there” type of thing. Rob’s joyfully skipping down the trail and stopping for picnics while waiting for us to catch up, as we’re hanging on for dear life just to keep sight of him 🥵
I always felt bad telling Graham what he did wrong when he fell in Whistler only to find he had broken his arm. I still can't understand how that track was so slippery.
Wow what an awesome adventure. It always is with Tony. 🙌 You made it down which is good considering the conditions. So well done. Almost did what I did trying to take the left line past the wood. Clipped my pedal on the wood (permanently marked it with Burgtec😅) and got ejected from the bike down the hill. Luckily got that all on camera 😂🙌👏👍
To be fair, I don't think that track was Tony's idea, but he is always fun to ride with. Any normal person would just delete all that track footage, but you know me, warts and all😂
I was genuinely surprised at how slippery it was given all the other tracks we rode were fine. Sometimes, it can be grippier when raining or super wet. You get that perfect storm of moisture and clay and it is terrible. Watch some world cups. They are OK in the rain but as it dries a bit suddenly nobody can ride it. I will br back.😊
I heard NGT is Not Glen's Trail. Story was Glen and a couple others started building it, then 'Glen' got himself a girlfriend and apparently gave up helping complete the build, so the other builders in the team named it.

@@bestdayevermtb2 Yeah he sure is good fun to ride with. We all love the warts and all. 👍
Awesome riding mate and yeah Rob Metz is next level. One of those riders who makes mountainbiking look like poetry.
I love watching people with creative ways to interpret how to ride a trail. I tend to monster truck down the middle.😂
I've been down NGT in even wetter conditions, and I thought I was just riding like crap and not that the soil is like ice until I saw your video. 😂

Is there much riding at the ski resorts in NZ?
A bit in the summer. Coronet and Cardrona down South. Nothing like Europe, though. Certainly scope for more.
I feel your pain, ✌️
The pain was both physical and mental 😂
TONY IT'S SLIPPERY!
You knob can't believe you did that Mate, take care
Need some more conto argotal tyre's Lance 😂😂😂
They would have been much better in these conditions.
TALK ABOUT SLIPPERY
Can't remember, did I mention it was slippery?🤔
NGT short for Not Good There. You oprobably mentioned SLIPPERY as many times in this epsiode as you have mention E-Bikes in total on this channel
Did I say it was slippery? Can't remember that.😂

@Gmork-The-Nothing getting a girlfriend can do that.
Thank you for naming the trails in your commentary. Yes we are wondering
I try to do my best😊
Wreaking the trails bloody e-bikes
I think racing the Triple crown in the wet did way more damage than a few e bikes picking their way down could ever do.🤔
The brain making decisions that the body isn’t happy about… otherwise known as getting older & still thinking like a 20yr old 😄
You are right. I am keen to do things, but getting out of bed each morning is becoming a challenge. 😂
Rob looks good...Nancy could ride faster than you :P
😂😂😂 Finding someone faster than me is not hard. Trying to find someone slower, that is the challenge.
