I'm trying to connect a PLC to a instrument using SCPI protocol for instrumentation, specifically a rack mount Digital Multi Meter. I need to measure something to make a determination for an actuator the PLC controls. What would you recommend?

Thanks for your question but I have not used SCPI myself. Which PLC are you planning to use?

I just spent some time searching and found a lot of people asking how to integrate PLCs to SCPI, but not one who was successful. Does your SCPI device offer Modbus, Ethernet/IP, or Profinet?
