@@MikesMilitaryModelling hi Mike, retirement is like one big holiday at the moment, still not enough time to do much work in the modelling room, we are getting new windows installed in the nect couple of days, so the desk is all packed up, then I will have to paint the windows, so maybe 2-3 weeks and all will be back to normal, take care mate, all the very best for Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia

Looks great so far, may I ask where you buy your paints, is there a particular company you recommend for your modeling supplies in the UK.

      Thanks Keith,
I tend to use Vallejo paints they are reasonably priced and do the job well. Super glue I buy from Poundland, you get two small bottles for a pound and it's good stuff, if you want something a little stronger mix it with a little cornflour and it sets like concrete. For the Tamya extra thin glue you may be interested in a video I put up some time ago about using Tamya airbrush cleaner instead, here's the link:- ua-cam.com/video/dQOffUD3Lm4/v-deo.html I buy most of my stuff off Amazon or Ebay but if you buy from Ebay you very offten have to pay for postage. One good thing about Ebay is that you if you don't mind waiting a little while you can can buy small stuff from China very cheaply and with free postage. Modelling tools are a huge rip off, if you search Amazon / Ebay for the trades man equivalent they are much cheaper. For paint brushes, markers, PVA and things like soft pastels for weathering I use Poundland or the Works both have craft sections with really good quality stuff. For kits I tend to search for what I want rather than see then buy. Scalemates is a good place to start www.scalemates.com/
I found the Scammell Commander there and bought it from a shop in Germany and even after postage it was £50.00 cheaper than buying it here.
I hope this is of some help to you.
      Cheers Mike.

@@MikesMilitaryModelling thanks Mike. I've ordered some airbrush cleaner that will save me a fortune, never been in a pounds shop but I have a good stock of super glue now.
      I'm currently doing a 1/16 Andy's hobby tiger 1. That's proving a challenge, obviously I'm watching your vids while I'm building.
      All the best.
