I cut my college chemistry class to by my 1983 CX650custom in the same color. Loved that bike. As it got older and me too, it became hard cold start bike. Sold it for $200 and bought my 2005 Yamaha Roadstar. I actually saw my old bike at a supermarket parking lot, man it looked a mess. Felt bad for my old bike, but was a great machine!

The problem with the CX650 customs is when they are very far gone the only thing that’s worth anything is the engine. If they have very nice bodywork and exhaust then their wirth restoring.

Hey I just picked up my cx650 custom can we maybe message each other about shocks? My rear shocks are spongey

Are they the stock shocks? The stock ones are very stiff usually.
