@@davkaufmansreptileadventures she was so cute “look how curious and periscoping she is doing”, I swear she knows more snake terms than some keepers lol
I know she was so freaking mature and so cute 😊 I bet she has parents that talk to her like an adult. My daughter was smart like that when she was little too. People told me all the time. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have known the difference honestly. Lol 😂 I wasn't around other kids that much.
yes it's awesome to see youngsters getting into it the right way from the start, my generation was all trial and error with catching and keeping native species ourselves and trying to keep them not knowing about vitamin supplements and the different lighting and heating, if any were still alive after a year it was a lucky miracle, but we persevered and we learned valuable lessons that we now apply to the exotics we keep as well as the few natives that have made there way into the hobby and were popular enough for people to start breeding, i.e. Bull Snakes, Hognose, Garters, and the like, I'm glad we are not seeing the horned lizards anymore, millions of them were caught and sold out of the wild and most died. The native Californian horned lizards once found throughout the central valleys have almost completely disappeared and have not been seen in some places where they were once common in over 40 years, the coast variety used to be found on the strip between the Redwoods and the shoreline from Santa Cruz north to San Francisco when I was young and they were not common but we did find them, ask the kids in that area now if they see any and they are either amazed that they were once there, or they'll call you a liar!
Thank you for the award. Means the world to us @A&BEXOTICS to get such recognition of the hard work we put in to our breedings. The Ocelot project is just beginning! Wait till Arlington and Tinley...

Congrats to Sacred Geckos n Living Wild for their Rattle On awards. You guys are crushing it! And how cool that we get to enjoy you both right here in St.Louis throughout the year! Thanks Dave for highlighting the show….nobody does it better! Mike
It was my first show! I got 2 geckos. I saw you Dāv, but you were always camera up so I didn't want to bother you. I was so glad I went, everyone was so nice!
It was wonderful meeting you at the expo half a million times and I loved it so much! The skink is still doing wonderful, and has a super nice setup! Thanks for having us in your video :)
Fantastic pick for the best snake, I couldn't agree more! I keep several ocelot morph jungle/jaguar carpet pythons and I love how this pattern mutation expresses itself in the retic.
So many stunning creatures! That retic at the end, absolutely stunning!!! 🥰 Thank you so much for always taking us along to these shows, Dave. Living in Australia, we don’t get to see everything that you guys are lucky enough to see at these show and possibly even buy! This looked like an amazing show. @@LanceKirkman well about "ivory" they are exactly like australian whites. Weirdly enough now that they are cites 3, and that several australian whites have been illegaly imported, all of the sudden "ivory" appears. It's not something they made, it's just something passed from australia, through china.
I dont know if you ever have seen D.A.T.Z. Cichlids & Reptiles but i have 4 Ball Pythons from them amoung other pets and they have the brightest colored and nicest Pets i have seen in a long time. I loved this video and it makes me excited because there is a reptile expo coming up near me. My only question is is there an online store to those preserved stuffed animals, that is the coolest thing and I think that would make a great gift

Hey Dāv, so will you not be at the Minnesota Reptile Show then? Will you be at Animalcon the whole weekend? Just askin, seeings the one in MN is on August 28th
@@davkaufmansreptileadventures I am probably the most sad woman out there knowing I can't make it...honestly. well thanks for getting back to me on that question. Pretty cool
Awesome animals. I went to Tinley fall of '19, the year I discovered the awesome world of reptiles. I've been dying to go back, especially now. I've met so many awesome people in the community through the web, I'd love to get the chance to actually meet them in person, you among them. Ed and Emily are great. You were sitting with them for a bit at their table at the auction. It was hot, I was exhausted and on oxygen. There was another young man with them and an extra chair at the table that kept getting pushed out of the way. He offered it to me kindly so I could sit down. From now on I'll remember to bring my rollator so I have my own seat. Hate that all the seats in the back were empty yet one person among 20 would be "saving" them for others. I got a couple nice snakes at the auction including a pos het sunset from Brock Wagner I've yet to be able to try to prove. I hope to go and meet you and all the other wonderful people next year!
The retic is an absolutely spectacular animal and I wish I had the funds and space for another that looked like that...that said, I really, truly hope that retics do not reach the popularity that ball pythons have. Beautiful and amazing as they are, there just are not that many people that can adequately care for them. Now if we can get all those morphs and a lot of focus into breeding the super-dwarfs, maaaaybe...but an 8 foot snake is still no small feat to care for either.
Wtf happened to gargoyle and blue tongue prices, please tell me the common morphs are priced fair still. Gargoyles of basic color were 60-100 all day long and basic northern bts were like 200 It’s gotten crazy
15:15 I want one! Lol 😂 I'll wait until the are cheaper though. Which will probably be good anyway because hopefully that will be around the same time I have $ from selling baby hognose! Wish me luck breeding in hopefully 🤞2024!
If that little girl with the pied is who we have coming up in the reptile hobby, I’d say we are doing a pretty good job. She was incredible
