If I hazard a guess, I'd say the song is about loss. The poor lady has lost her partner. Now she doesn't know what to do now he's passed away. She is trying to cope with the depression but is slowly becoming more destructive. She is alone and no one is there to comfort her. She's losing her mind and does not know what to do. That's my two cents.
