Sally you are amazing to embark on this challenge however it's clear that your condition demands so much of your energy just to get through your day. Your yoga mindfulness is guiding you to rest. Please explore diets that would set you up for healing. I have ovarian cancer that has led me to a carnivore diet. NO sugar intake once l learnt that sugar feeds the cancer. UA-cam presents many podcast that explain the benefits of meat eggs fish butter NO vegetable or fruit that converts to sugar xx I enjoy my yoga three times a week and have bounds of energy for walking yoga swimming climbing all at the age of eighty 🎉 Rest when your body demands it xx please don't Take offence of what lve shared it is done love namaste 🙏
Thank you so much for this fantastic comment! Absolutely no offense taken, it's very much appreciated ❤️ I always love to hear from older women, especially when they are still so active as you at 80!! I'm sorry to hear that you have ovarian cancer, I wish you all the very best. I have very little sugar in my diet. I'm so glad I don't have a sweet tooth, because there are so many temptations these days!! I don't eat meat or dairy for ethical reasons, but I do eat fish and eggs from chickens in our village. I try to eat as much protein as possible, and go low on the carbs, because I have read that people with M.E. may not process energy from carbs well, instead our bodies use proteins as the main source of energy, which is interesting.
Thank you for sharing your ME/CFS story with us, Sally. It sounds debilitating and must leave one feeling hopeless at times. It’s clear you are doing the best you can to mitigate the many challenges that come with dealing with a condition of this nature. I am going to offer a suggestion that you may/may not have heard of/considered. It’s a strict elimination diet, called the lion 🦁 diet. And might be just what you need to kickstart/accelerate your healing ❤️🩹 It sounds extreme, until you do a deeper dive into it 😉🫶🏻 I am in awe of the goal you have set yourself, single-handedly building a van home, and my hope is that you achieve more than you’ve dreamt possible 🫶🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much 🙏 It is tough at times, but I know that I don't suffer nearly as much as some, many people are unable to get out of bed, so I count my blessings. I will look at the diet, thank you 🙏❤️
such a strong moving story Sally.....see you soon. Stay strong, you are an amazing lady.
