We're taking part in Operation Omega in Mission 106 of the recently released English Release of Earth Defense Force 6, played on Hard difficulty on PlayStation 5.
Mission 106: Diversionary Tactics

A top-secret operation has been put into action.
This is a strategy to go after the opponent's neck.
It's sure to land a fatal blow...but as a surprise attack, it'll all be over if the enemy learns of it.
A simultaneous attack will be launched around the world in order to distract the enemy.
You'll be attacking the teleportation site in this area.
Take back the town.
We'll need to simultaneously attack as many locations as possible.
This will split our forces, and each location will be short on firepower.
It won't be an easy battle...but humanity's survival is riding on it.
