The trick to reach the 70°C seems to work, but how can i turn the annoying peep sound off? And the background music could be a little bit quiter when you talk. And how can i set the fan speed to a constant rpm? The sound of the fan turning up and down is annoying too.

      Hi, thanks for your feedback!
      1. For the beeping sound, it is suggested that Tuya IOT. If you really don't like it, you can check it with the motherboard side. You can add the high-temperature resistance foam to the speaker, it will be helpful
      2. For the fan speed control. It is based on the top lid temperature and the bottom temperature sensor. At first ES version used the manual control for fan speed. But it is not safe for the user(May cause the heating plate to overheat and then cause the spool defect. Or it may cause hard in heating 70℃)
      Greeting

@@GratKit3D what do you mean with "For the beeping sound, it is suggested that Tuya IOT"? And the high temp foam would only make the peeping noice a little bit quiter or could that "mute" the speaker?

      1. Since the APP needs to be connected to the drying box, Tuya IOT suggested that we add a buzzer to confirm the command and give feedback to the user.
      2. It can decrease the beep level but we can't mute it. Unless we remove the speaker off:(

I agree, the beep is very annoying. My unit also couldn't hit 70C after running for many hours so I was directed to check this video. The thermosistor on mine was under the tape and really, this should have been tested before leaving the factory. Quality Control , as we call it. I have several filament dryers from other brands (Eibos, FixDry, PrintDry Pro, etc) and this is the first I have had to repair out of the box. Also, the idea of putting the desiccant inside to filament roller is a bit out. If the roller had holes, that would work but given it ends are almost sealed up with the sides of the enclosure - well, it certainly isn't ideal.
