I have a bad habit of researching things I've already bought. I've used torani vanilla and salted caramel and they were okay. The salted caramel was good. Today i bought monin (was debating between the vanilla and salted caramel, it was the hardest decision ever). I ended up opting for the salted caramel and your love for it made me feel satisfied in my decision 😅. Idk theres just something about salted caramel and coffee that just hits!
it called RDT, it will help you grand exactly gram of coffee, for example without add water you will grand 18 g but the output will be 17g, but if you add water the result will be exactly 18g. you can read about it or search about it on youtube.
It prevents static build-up in the ground coffee beans. The grinds will not stick to the inside of the grinder and will also not stick to your dosing cup (if you use one) when you are transferring them to your portafilter. This effectively means that whatever weight you put in the grinder also comes out of the grinder (no retention).

I used both for the last 7 years.. torani is just more watery..monin is thicker syrup more stable..
Always used Monin Vanilla love it never tried Torani don't know if I can get it .
Only torani is available here in supermarkets. I have never tried anything else
MONIN is best for syrups. Torani for thick pumps like white mocha.
I’ve never heard of adding water to the beans before grinding. What is the purpose of doing that?

Giffard is probably the best. Torani is absolutely trash.
