Such a nice vlog (as always) 🙌 on the Barnes&Noble section of the vlog I caught a glimpse of "A Winter's Promise" (by Christelle Dabos) on the shelves, and I'm positively sure you'd LOVE it ! It is a French YA fantasy novel that is so whimsical and enchanting, and yet the characters are super well developed and there's a policital/historical element to it. (Plus the cover is so beautiful)
Pausing the video to say that I would 100% ask for snuggles with Matilda if ever I were to meet you and Clay. That dog is more adorable every time I see her. What a queen.
Read Vicious for the first time like two weeks ago LOVED IT! Walked in to local library looked up and the angels stated singing there sits Vengeful. I snagged it! You and Jesse the Reader got me into V.E.Schwab. I thank you for that because she is AWESOME!!!!!

I definitely agree that Alloy is a light fun romp, especially comparing to the original mistborn series, but Shadows and Bands start to expand and go deeper. It still isn't the stakes of the original trilogy, but honestly thank god (harmony), and it's so interesting and complex. They follow the crew in Alloy and after Bands there's a like short story/novella thing called Secret History and whew boy is that a lot of feelings there.
Alloy of law was just supposed to be a fun parody on the classic pulp/adventure novel and the next two books breaks the format. Bands of mourning is actually my favourite mist born book, It's epic, so look forward to that! Great vlog as always, you never fail to put me in good mood :)
I'm really curious now, does anyone know what clay does for work? Most professions don't require coming in on Sunday evenings, so this has definitely peeked my interest
