I see a lot of Cadys material. I dug lots of it. In fact I’m cutting some now. Lol. I miss rock collecting in the Cadys.

Hey Dave, the "stink plume" you referred to, I believe it is angel wing agate
Pretty cool I know Angel wing is that grow inside of geodes. It cannot look like stalactites. I think the reason why we called stink plum is because don has a large piece of the stink plum. It’s actually called stink’n plume but I’m really not an expert on the material in that part of California I’m gonna take a look at some of the materials in Wisconsin next month and I’ll make sure to get some better shots of it. I appreciate your input brother I’m interested in learning more about it.

Definitely like colors banding the lace it’s self the sageinite , the orange green and yellow bursts and other stuff best way to tell is to do research since it’s a little difficult to explain over the phone

Why did you mention crazy lace agate as "old generation"? Is their a version that is not easily able to be found anymore?
Definitely, there’s like four or five generations of the material. The first generation highest quality is one of the most amazing agates I’ve ever seen in my life. It literally looks like a burning wildfire in a forest in Oregon. Lots of sagenite the typical variety of that generation is still considered a higher-quality and had thicker bands of red browns, black and white then the stuff we see today, it’s hard for me to explain the patterns of the older generations but put it this way. Modern crazy lace can be had for about $10 a pound. The old stuff can be worth over $400 a pound or more.

Not that I know of they did have about 60 to 70 barrels from the uncles private collection dropped off to the Rockyard but that sold extremely fast. The stuff that was staged downhill in the video was the uncles private collection.
