My first running shoe was a Pegasus 39, got the duramo 10 for a lifestyle shoe. Saw this Duramo speed at my local retaiiler and it looked like an adizero. Looked for videos and saw yours, I AM SO GONNA GET THIS as my anything goes shoe, running, gym lifestyle etc. Cheers man! awesome review!

Great review Neil. Looks like a great shoe for 90 Euros. I heard they have a new shoe costs $500 so there is a big range in cost for their high end shoes.
That €500 price tag is a bit of a joke. I order to have a shoe worn legally in a big marathon it has to be on sale to the public. So Adidas used this as a bit of a marketing scam. I think the IAAF should step in and halt this by pulling the shoe but they remain a toothless tiger.
Yeah , I agree. It should get a lot of attention with the lady smashing Berlin record yesterday. I heard rumor they can only be raced one time. @@RunSensible
A definite bargain. Nova blast sounds like a squishy choice for the marathon. I bet they're comfy though.
I never had them before but I reckon they'll be OK for a marathon. I am enjoying Adidas though.
Adidas pretty much nailing it across the range. Love the Takumis and the Pros.
Haven't looked at the Takumis yet. Are they worth a wear?

Adizero sl , adizero boston 12 , supernova 3 , duromo speed , ultraboost , adidas adios 8 , adizero rc 5 ....
Now it's for 27$ on official website and I still doubt. I just afraid of firm shoes. I tried adizero sl with the same foam and it turned to be like a pair of wooden shoes for me. Way to firm.
i have those and wear it for like 100km, and it is a firm shoes...
Yes they are for but the loosen up a bit with mileage. Not for everyone but very good for those they suit.
Some people even run barefoot. 😂

I’m curious, why no vapour flys for the marathon? I’ve a pair of Novablast for long runs and they are the business, a little heavy but they really save the legs.
I've been out of action with a mild illness for 6 weeks and for months leading into that I had a really severe anaemia that ruined my running. This marathon will just be about getting around and getting a little bit fitter. I'll try to PB the marathon next spring and I'll save the Vaporflys for that race.
Fair play, yeah I’ve been following your progress, great channel. i’ll be hacking around the marathon in hopefully 4 hrs or so but I’ll need all the help I can get so I’ll be wearing the vapour flys 😂

Oh while I think of it, if you can get your hands on the TR (trail) version of the Novablast take a look, there is an extra layer of grip although nothing major (I wouldn’t consider them true trail shoes by any stretch of the imagination). I’ve seen a review that called out that the standard version are aren’t great in wet conditions so the TRs might be worth looking into too.

@@bekind1823 Adidas adios under 4'20 km and Duramo speed 4'20+... very comfortable and fresh.... If you use your heel for initial impact I would recommend solar Glide ..best protección for knee... .. Asics and Ghost haven't support for me in metatarsals so Asics Pulse died at 50 miles and Ghost haven't enough confort for my technical running in the middle of foot... Sorry for my bad English....
this is why i always go back to adidas, they last and they are good
always try to get something else, there always is something wrong with them (almost all other brands )

Hi I'm stuck deciding whether to get duramo: 10, SL Speed, adistar 2.0, or the supernova 2.0. They are all good in terms of price, but the problem is I can't decide what's the best for me. Any opinion is appreciated!! Could you break down the specifics to help me pick one? I've never worn any if the other shoes that you mention. So I'd go with the Duramo.

@@RunSensible I've a 100e voucher for lifestyles. I'm on the fence between buying the Invincibles 3 and putting 90 lids towards them. Or not buying shoes and needing to get a divorce. 😂

How is the arch support I have a high arch and need the support
I have a high arch too and I find these fine. Occasionally I get a sharp ache across the mid arch of my foot but it last about 5 or 10 seconds and it's not on every run so more likely me and not the shoe.
Adidas produce shoes that last longer than a marathon distance. Who knew? 😉
