Like your goodies. We did this all of our lives. I lost my husband about a year and a half ago after 59 yrs together so many memories of collecting. Love your Christian Bible verses. Hope you have a lot of years together. God Bless.
If you learn to soft boil eggs it is very nice to hold them in an egg cup. You give them a karate chop sideways at the top with the side of your butter knife to make it open to scoop out the wonderful sweet insides. It takes a little practice to learn how to open them. The rest of the egg....the shell stays on in the holder nestled down in it. The small end is the part above the holder(this is the part you open with the knife. ..NOT a sharp knife!!!! That with a scone or sweet roll....some orange juice and a prayer, preferably before you start😊
Lots of finds in beautiful Florida!!! The blue stripe mixing bowl is probably my favorite but I also love the blue toile sheet set. Glad you had a nice time out of the cold weather!! God does love us!! What a joy!! God bless.
Thank you for taking us along on your trip to Florida. I love everything you brought home. I would love to see how you decorate your children’s rooms ❤
Your house is so beautiful. We like alot of the same treasures!!! Please keep taking your mama with you to sales, thrifting, and goodwilling. I used to take my mom alot, and we always had the best times. She is gone now and I miss her so much, but I do.have the wonderful memories.❤❤❤ Some days all we had to do was just look at each other and we would laugh.😂😊. I enjoy your videos and going to the sales with you. Thank you for sharing with us.
I hollered "Get the blue & white sheets!"😂 & you did! Love the brass trio- maybe it's a hat display stand or maybe for draping a hand towel over? I'd have grabbed the blue band bowl, too! Wish my hubby would enjoy thrifting with me, but his response would be "you don't need it - where are you going to put it" 🤷♀️ Beautiful footage & soothing music!
Awesome trip and haul Elizabeth. I love the ironstone stack of bowls and the bowl with the blue stripe. The toile sheets are beautiful ❤️ and I also love the lemon topiary. Love and blessings 💙🍋💙
Good morning great video ..rewatching some of your old ones that I missed❤ I also love the bunny in the sock❤ my son lives in Florida , Fort Lauderdale.. I live in Massachusetts❤ so happy you had fun visiting your in-laws and enjoying the warm weather.
So many good finds! My favorites were the Johnson Brothers square stoneware bowls, the toile sheet and the blue striped mixing bowl. Those pillows were awfully cute, too! That picture of the bunny in the stocking would have come with me, too!
It didn't look like you saw it. Maybe it just wasn't for you on that day. It was right across from the mirrors you looked at and just above the landscape painting you checked out. You can see it starting at 10:15. I'm a lover of anything Johnson Brothers and tea leaf patterned ironstone in particular and all white ironstone in general. I forgot about the sweet little white dish!
You guys work against yourselves, & others, shut up when you tell them u find an antique and good deals, these thrift stores have pay people to watch you and what you say, then you are surprised when they raise the prices, especially those if you that go in and buy a bunch, you know poor people want their homes to look good too, I don't mind people buying for themselves, but these people who have big homes and cottage by the sea, then tell how cheap they got it and how much they will make off ofvit, it's always the rich that rake away from the poor, and that is what they are doing broadcasting how cheap and how much they will make, in turns raises the prices, that was donated in the first place , then the thrift stores get greedy too😮 7:06
Great prices! I was just at Goodwill this morning and got some things…well-stocked on Saturday morning! I found an ironstone platter for $2.00-England stamp! Prices were…meh…. The Psalm that you finished your video with gave me goosebumps! TY! Cindi (from WV).
I had such a busy day today that when I saw your video pop up I had to watch it at 9:21 P.M. California time. I've seen those lemon fruit topiary before. Can you imagine, over $400! You always seem to pick the perfect music to go with your video. Thank you for sharing this..........Blessings!
Pleat a small hand towel to come down on both sides, display on your vanity. Would look so charming. Thanks for taking us along with you. Susie from Oklahoma
I just found your channel Elizabeth and I am loving it! ❤️ You and I have very similar taste. I am from Mich too but you seem to find much better stuff at most of the stores you visit. ☺️ You are so talented and your house is so pretty. You also have a beautiful family and I love the verses at the end of your videos! ❤️🙏
Every time i watch these videos my heart races. In Scotland we have less variety of options in a general store as you do in a thrift store. I could have bought so many things i saw when you walked around. In our charity shops we may have 2 baskets , 1 row of linen, 1 row of pictures etc. I'm in heaven watching these but also slightly jealous haha. Thank you for sharing ❤
Heritage village is a great place to visit. My son is a social studies teacher and he takes one of his classes there every year. Indian rocks thrift store is great.
The brass piece on left is a paperweight and if there are double rings, you put outgoing/ incoming mail that needs attention...or a favorite photograph to display.
🙋♀️Heritage Village is so charming. The mixing bowl is my favourite and that old mirror, wow. Flying, as opposed to driving, has advantages and disadvantages. If you were driving I bet that mirror would have found a new home in Michigan! 😊
You are my favorite thrifter thank you for sharing have a great week everything you buy I would’ve picked it up myself and you know what they say great minds think alike 😂
Such a fun thrift trip! I'm not sure how heavy that brass piece is but it may be a vintage brass door stop. Anyway, its nice to have interesting pieces to add to the decor!
Elizabeth, I use to live outside of Tampa, and had friends in Indian Rocks. We would visit them & a few times went to Heritage Village. One time during the year they have a big Arts & Crafts fair within the village with all types of primitive crafters. It’s so much fun. Isn’t that place just adorable & amazing. My goodness you really hit some amazing thrift stores. Thank you for taking us along. God bless & keep you & your family 😊❤😊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
You found some wonderful items! I loved the set of 4 stoneware bowls, the blue striped crock bowl and the toile! I loved everything - it was hard to narrow it down. Congrats! Debbie in WA Ü
I want to go to those thrift stores. They were loaded with great stuff. I may have to take a trip down there from East Tennessee. The best part of this video other than your beautiful family is the Bible verses. Thank you
Thank you Elizabeth for Taking Us Along with You and Hubby Thrifting in Florida ❤️ Wow the shelves at the Thrift Store was full. My favorite item you picked up would have to be the nesting bowls and the Lemon thing at the end. Wishing You and Your Family a Very Happy Healthy Blessed New Week Ahead ❤️ Hugs from California 🌞
Elizabeth there's Always next time. That beautiful Cabinet also in the beginning Wow ❤️it. If you did found amazing furniture etc on your trip to Florida I presume you have rented a U-Haul to come back Home with Hoping You had a Great Monday Wishing You a Fabulous Tuesday Keep Smiling and Keep Shinning 🌟 Bright My Beautiful Friend ❤️ Hugs from California 🌞
Love the ironstone! I also have a similar yellow ware bowl that came from my husband’s grandmother’s estate. The lemon topiary looks like a hobbyist piece, so you can probably go ahead and paint it if you would like it better in white. Great thrifting finds!
I love that basket, tree, stair etc guy has really got then hang of smiling. It really suits him, tell him g’day from down-under. The beach is different - not for me I live about 15 to 20 mins from the nearest beach here in Adelaide. Nice to see your family having fun in the sun.🇦🇺🦘
@@oldmaplehome when I saw it in the video I thought I hope she gets that. Then I saw a sneak peek of the top of it in your cart a little further into the video I was like yes! But when you showed the google prices I was like YES!!! You have such a good eye for things.
8:13 The brass unicorn, not the 1st, but the 2nd one you picked up….I think it might have been one of a pair of bookends. One side is a lion and one is a unicorn. Representing England and Scotland. (All of this info is credited to another UA-camr). I noticed I had a lion bookend like one in her video and mentioned it to her. She then told me the story of them. I’ve been searching for the unicorn ever since but have not found one with the exact base. There seems to be 2-3 base variations. I think the one you showed was “it”. 😭. I live NO WHERE near Florida. You always show the most beautiful items! Thanks Elizabeth 😊
I’m guessing the oval wire basket, that you suggested putting bananas in, probably had an oval glass insert that could have held side dishes for a formal dinner. It probably got broken over the years and was hard to find something that would fit in it’s place. Just a guess!

I live in the area and recognize Indian Rocks Thrift Center on Walsingham Rd, Goodwill on US 19 in Clearwater and I think the last one was the Hospice thrift Center on Highland Ave. in Clearwater. They always have lots of good stuff.
I appreciate the responses. We are new to the area by 1 year and still find new places but know there many hidden gems. Thank you, Diane for sharing those locations. 😊
How fun to thrift in Florida....I hope you drove there so you can bring treasures back
The metal X shape object is a riser to display a pretty bowl. Popular in the 80's.
Oh need, makes me with I would have gotten it now!

Just started following you. Fun video and I appreciate the fact that you share your faith! Blessings to you and your channel!

What a wonderful vacation. We are headed to Orange Beach the first week of April. You could use the sheet for a shower curtain too.
Looks like a great vacation, sun, thrifting and the beach wow! Great finds.
It's been wonderful!
I loved the bowl you wanted to put bananas in, plus the lampshade with the fringe around the bottom, gorgeous!
Some great things at the Goodwill!
I kind of wish I would have grabbed it, but something stopped me... I guess I just need to trust my gut.
Some of the most unique things I have ever seen.
Much different than what we have back in Michigan!
The brass piece on left is a paperweight and if there are double rings, you put outgoing/ incoming mail that needs attention...or a favorite photograph to display.
It looks like that, but there are no slots in the ring. hmmm...

Oh yes, I love that one too.
I live here and didn’t know about this thrift store!!! Can’t wait to visit it!
Have fun and good luck! I'd be in there in every week if I lived here!
The bowl with the blue stripped band around it was my fav!

I recently came across several of the square scalloped ironstone pieces too! They are one of my faves to look for :)
No way, that's cool!
Love the ironstone! I also have a similar yellow ware bowl that came from my husband’s grandmother’s estate. The lemon topiary looks like a hobbyist piece, so you can probably go ahead and paint it if you would like it better in white. Great thrifting finds!
Yeah, I figured someone probably painted it... I think I'll have fun with the pop of yellow for a while first :)
I really like the bowl ! Great video 👍
Me too!
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
that lemon topiary!!
I can't wait to get it home!

Great finds! You didn’t get the beautiful curio cabinet? I suppose you drove and didn’t have room…..darn huh?
Yes, otherwise I 100% would have splurged on it!

Wow … SCORE on the treasures 💕
I could get used to thrifting here!
Yes No kidding !!💕
The carved cabinet is my exact bedroom set! Its Italian antiques from Louie the 15th. That price is an absolute steal! That probably would cost $3;000.
Im not sure but the brass ring thing you got, but if it unscrews it could be for a plate tier tray. If it us, you could drill a plate and make it complete.
That's what I told my husband! It's my dream cabinet for sure... he actually said we should ship it home, but I don't trust that.
I would have totally picked up that etched glass cake dome. Funny about the yellow ware bowl, I have had one posted to FBMP, can't seem to give it away.
That's so strange... I'd take it lol :P
The brass piece with the ring on top appears to be a vintage door stop in my research
I thought so too maybe, but it is very light weight.
That brass piece is for hot dishes, used like a trivet or hot plate. I have a few.
Good to know, thank you!! glad my instincts are serving me well :p
Jealous of your finds. Way to go.
The first piece is a Victorian bowl or pot trivet.
Just found your channel and love it. The brass piece you are not sure about i am wondering if it is a vintage shaving brush stand???
I have not heard that one yet, maybe!
Oh noooo you put back the antibiotic rug beater
It wasn't my style :)

Your Brass decor piece is a Handtowel holder for bathroom!
It's only the size of my hand, seems too small for a towel... but maybe!
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Is the brass stand for the bathroom to hold tea towel?
It could be, but it is very small.
love this i just found you
Hello!
Could the brass piece with the circle on top be a hand towel holder for the bathroom counter?
Gee your op shops are cheap compared to ours in Australia yes my dream cabinet too,x

It's a towel holder for bathroom.
Is the brass "thingy" heavy? If it is, it might be a door stop.
Very light.
Love the video! I live about an hour from Indian Rocks and wondered what was the 3rd thrift store you went to?
I wish I could tell you, but I really don't know.
