  • A recent trip down to the Buffalo River. 3 days and 2 nights of paddling fun from Ponca to Woolum, AR. at about 3.2 gauge height. Awesome trip with good eats and some wonderful scenery. Water was clear and flowing at a crisp 56*. 51 total miles achieved like it was nothin'!

      @@PeteBraginton absolutely amazing! We went from Steel Creek to Gilbert. I’m going back in October to finish the river from Gilbert to Buffalo City. Your video was the inspiration for this trip. Thank you!

    Hey Pete. Love your videos. Only problem.... you haven't been posting many lately! Hope to see more of your kayaking adventures in the near future.
    Float on.

      Tarptent Cool! Glad you enjoyed the video! Had I known Mr. Shires & the Tarptent crew would catch this, I would have packed my Notch and shot some "Yakpacking Tarptent goodness". Is it weird to bring trekking poles on a float trip??? lol...guess we will have to see.
      Thanks for commenting-ya'll rock!

    What is the name of the waterfall before Kyle's? I had no idea there was one, I'm hoping to float in about 3 weeks...

    Really enjoyed the video! What are the white bucket type things with omega lids? Obviously meant to keep stuff dry. What are they called? Where do you buy them? Thanks!

    • @PeteBraginton
      @PeteBraginton  7 років тому

      PilgrimLJC Hey there pilgrim! Those white containers are dry dog food containers.(Chewy.com) I'm going to make a video on how we converted them to canoe dry boxes that actually work quite well. Video will be coming up this week, thanks for watching!

    Man, Bragmaster...you guys were movin out...I would never want to paddle that far in a day. Great weather, adequate water...good action. I'm curious about those white boxes canoe boy had to store his gear in.

    I like the video bro but can you not put music in? It’s actually interesting to listen to the river and the nature around you. Other than the music this was a really great video. I tend to watch videos of the buffalo river a few months before I do my 4 day trip, I can’t wait for June!

  • @cheneybros
    @cheneybros 7 років тому

    so, how long would the video have been if you didn't speed it up in parts? too much music/talking and not enough nature/water sounds...I enjoy your vlogs though! Cheers!

    • @PeteBraginton
      @PeteBraginton  7 років тому +1

      cheneybros LOL, Yep this one ran a little long... had to shave it down from 60 gigabytes of footage! Glad you could stick it out and watch the whole thing,lol. To me, river videos that just show the river tend to get a little boring so I like to break it up a little bit thanks for watching!

      Hey Don, thanks for the inquiry.
      In a nutshell....My Dad got sick, been taking care of him until he passed. Wife's condition has worsened...need to be around to care for her. China virus closed my business for 80+ days...recovering still. Not much time to get outside ☹. You Tube censors important info. yet promotes all kinds of ridiculous biased video content..hard for me to support one of the many enemies of the people. If I get released back into the wild anytime soon, doubt I will be making videos...just want to enjoy life. Take care & God bless!👍🇺🇸

      I would for sure if u guys weren't so far away, I have kayaks and the gear, it's just mapping the river and knowing where I could camp. Just a couple of days ago, my wife and I were gonna go for the day, I pulled off the road just to get a look at the river, where it had been up, I got stuck in mud just off the road the land owner came down mad as hell, I apologized told him why I had stopped he finally calmed down, if he hadn't I can only apologize so much, I was about pissed off myself and tell him where to go or even put him there lol

    Awesome video, but I would suggest that you choose a wider variety of songs next time, or just slow down a flew clips to real time with no music.
