Thanks for playing my game. The reason the villain is like that, is because I wanted the player to hate the villains and like the heroes. That is the most basic thing I wanted to get right. So if the player was not motivated by anythign else, I could count on them to keep going just to see the villain get their comeuppance. It was also fun to write someone who just absolutely loves being a jerk like that.
The thing about the bugs being predictable is pretty much what you said. But having the two lines of dialogue back to back did not express it very clearly. That's my bad.
Would you like a key for the expansion? If you disliked the protection missions, you'll be pleased the hear that there aren't as many in the expansion. But, if you don't like villains with nonsensical motivations, who are just in it for the love of hating, I've got bad news for you...
Sure, I 'd be willing to gear up again for the expansion!
I'm not bothered so much with nonsensically evil characters, though nuance in character writing is definitely more appealing to me. What bothers me is when the villain's goals are counter-intuitive to their actions.
@@SoloWingFury That's a fair point. I'll try to keep it in mind for next time. I e-mailed you a key for the expansion. I hope you'll have fun with it.
Half the gane is defense missions? It really is like the old gen armored core games
Tell me you have found a game to fill the itch of Gotcha Force.
Nothing 1:1, but I did find two games that have similar feel.

The former runs on the same engine, so it feels very similar, the series even continues up to this day, but after this entry they stopped being about armies fighting armies, and is just a 2-on-2 fighter, which I find to be terribly dull.
The latter I find captures the feeling of fighting with tiny toy mechs, and has a fair bit of customization, though I think even today the series doesn't have the customization that a few competitors have popped up having.
@@SoloWingFury Thank you very much, I appreciate it. Do you think it would be possible buying the rights for gotcha force from Capcom?
I'm happy to help, especially when it comes to someone who loves one of my favourite games. I suppose it would be possible, but I imagine it would require a unfathomably large some of money to do so, They do kind of still use the IP, adding Usagi to certain mobile games, but otherwise they pretty much just sit on it.
