Wow, what a terrific walkthrough the "anatomy of a Blythe"! 🙂 I'm a Blythe newbie and I've been allowing myself to follow my curiosity which seems fueled by a determination to really understand the workings of this adorable doll. Thank you for such a thorough and clearly-guided tutorial. It's paced just right, and I appreciate how you explain the "whys" on things, too! I'll be watching for more! 🌼
I'm new to the world of custom Blythe dolls and I am trying to learn all that I can regarding customizing them. You have no idea how much I appreciate this video. This is what I was looking for for so long. Other videos show you bits and pieces of the process or jump ahead and I'm left wondering how something was removed. I can't thank you enough for this most informative and invaluable video!
One video that's extremely helpful with the white bar I was struggling so much just to make sure it didnt break now I know I dont need to take it off you've saved me sooo much time thank you
Thanks so much for sharing! I have never owned a doll of this type. I have heard of original blythe but they way too much so I opted for fake/factory one. I have watched plenty of videos regarding the factory ones and I think they cute! I would like to change her eye chips and maybe the string too.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll be sure to make a video on that in the future. As for supplies, like lashes, if you are looking for a US seller you can buy them from BeBe Blythe Co on ETSY: www.etsy.com/market/bebe_blythe_co She also has a UA-cam channel with tutorials @BeBeDolls
There are places that sell Blythe eye replacement parts on ETSY or AliExpress. Just search for that and scroll until you find something that looks like the part you broke. Worst case scenario you can always purchase a whole new eye mechanism, but with fake dolls it's often times just as expensive as buying a whole other doll. Best of luck.

This was very helpful thank you. It's been ages since I took a Blythe apart so I'd completely forgotten! You brought it all back to me! 😊
Your videos are so helpful! I'm studying up for when my cheap fakes arrive to practice with.

It would be cool to see how to change eyelashes and where to get them.

Can a fake neo Blythe fit neo Blythe faceplates?
Im having a mental breakdown because no matter how hard i try the eyes arent coming ouz
Some dolls are harder than others. Keep trying, or find some hired muscle. Legit Blythe tend to have thicker plastic than the fake dolls as well.
The eyes won't come out
