Honestly, even 4 years later, this is hands down the best singing voice for Sans I’ve ever heard and remains my head canon voice for the character.

6 years ago. I still listen to this song on a regular basis, hands down the best song I've heard. I love that this is still standing strong and the fandom is still thriving. Undertale is the most realistic game to be made. Graphics aside, the moral and the journey it takes you on, it's so moving. Undertale has raised me throughout my childhood and taught me life lessons that nobody could even begin to explain. It will forever have a special place in my heart. Thank you so much, Toby Fox.

7 years. 7 years ago this song came out, and I still listen to it repeatedly. Sans' voice suits him perfect, the lyrics are _entirely_ canon, and the lyrics make it a perfect sing along. 10/10, this song will be famous for as long as the game itself

I tried singing to this. I am good at Sans' voice, but when you hit the high notes, it just is impossible for me. (I am only 11 atm, maybe when I get my voice deeper, it will work) But without the high notes, I kinda sound the same as you did. Been a while since I left the UT fandom, but this came up in my recommended again, so I decided to watch it again.
Gotta say, this is still good. The voice fits the character perfectly, and the piano cover of Megalovania is really kinda beautiful.
Gotta admit, the singing would be oddly relaxing, if he weren't singing about how he was going to kill you.
The lyrics fit the game very well. Sans is not talking about avenging Papyrus, he's talking about avenging everyone. He's not overcome with rage and anger, he's calm. Almost scarily calm. He's sad, but really just unmotivated because he knows you'll just kill him, or already have multiple times in other timelines.
So yeah, good cover from the "golden age" of the fandom. (Despite the craziness of that time period.)

I voiced over this song in 8th grade for my Drama class. We had a stage in the room and I set up 'gifts' from characters around the room earlier and, within the first 10 seconds, earned at least 5 swear words of surprise when I walked offstage while 'singing'. I actually got a person to be somewhat emotional because they recognized the music.
Even 4 years since, this song still has a place in my heart.

Jokes aside, this actually made me feel quite bad for Sans. I mean, all he just wants to do is just chill and have fun with you while you figure out how to free the monsters and give them the freedom they deserved. He literally wants to become friends with you, he didn’t even show once that he wanted to attack/kill you, if I could recall. Instead, YOU decide to just kill everyone he knew, including his precious little brother for your own twisted amusement. That completely set him over the edge once you killed Papyrus, he knew he couldn’t hold back anymore since you were basically going on a complete killing spree. He even apologized to Toriel once confronting you, he wanted to keep her promise of protecting a human if one ever passes her but he knew deep down that he couldn’t protect a human who literally killed his friends and only family member left. He had nothing to lose anymore because you *killed* everyone he knew and hold dear. I don’t blame him for not caring anymore, you just snatched his only hope for the chance of freedom and hope for *you*

Ohoho, it's MUCH worse, actually. The thing is - even on pacifist, he KNOWS, that once you've killed everyone he loves. He knows, that his life means NOTHING to you. That he's just a videogame character for you, that you can kill just out of curiosity or because it's fun. And yet, he gives you a good time, funny jokes and generally treats you well.
Man, I wish the internet didn't do Undertale as dirty as it did it. The good and unique parts of the fandom truly SHINED, this cover being one of many of 'em to do so. Still slaps 7 years later as I continue to try my darndest to stay in the better parts of the fandom.
