Ya didn’t wanta shut the doors too hard on my 68 F250 back in the day with 100K (and that’s miles not kilos or meters or furlongs or what ever y’all use) on the clock, or you would get yelled at, “easy there, this ain’t no Shiverlay “. Just ‘click’..’click’, nicest closing doors on any rig I’ve ever had before or since. 💙 Them old Blue Ovals.
I’m standing in a tiny patch of early morning sunshine with a cup of coffee and a bacon and egg roll, waiting for the truck and chipper to arrive for our day of work. Pairs perfectly with a brand new video from buckin Love from Australia
Hey Billy Ray, being an old sole myself, I appreciate the love and respect you have for your elderly friends. They appear to be absolutely amazing folks. Thank you for coming by the Husqvarna booth at the Paul Bunyan Show, as it was great to have you stop in. Safe travels and be safe out there.
As a young man I enjoy the long bar on my saws. My father is his advanced age likes a shorter bar because a bigger power head with a 28+ inch bar fatigues him quite quickly and he’s concerned about falling or losing his balance while cutting. That and there’s less filing when he inevitably hits the ground 😅
Terrific job Buckin. I see why you love those two. They are a real pair of crackerjacks. I'll bet they have a ton of stories to tell. Share the love everyone.
I love dirt farmers I love old barns Buckin, your a young rascal with these older folks, I'm thoroughly stoked that you have reached this time in your life to help people out of some of their tree woes. Stay safe Stay strong Be kind 🌲🍀♻️💚
It's always a treat to see Bearclaw 😊❤️🌲 Good to see he is doing well Thank you for introducing us to Johnny and Sherri, they are such a lovely couple 😊. I love Johnny's sense of humor, the two of you are pretty funny together 😂 Those trees were... interesting. I was wondering how you would even manage to get in there without touching the shed, and how you could see where you're saw is at. Experience is everything 😊👌🏻 Love from Germany, be safe 🌲🌳😊❤️
A good relationship with customers is a key part of tree work. Some guys don't understand that im glad to see you do. Patients is another thing it seems you possess that other guys in the tree industry don't practice. I enjoy all your videos especially the ones with your son. Thanks and be safe.
Buckin billy, I appreciate your spirit, messages of hope and love. Any time I hear or see the words " be kind" you come to mind. I was a pre commercial thinner, wildfire feller, and logging piler in grants pass Oregon. Here with monkey beaver... Thanks for sharing yourself and your truth with me
Love you, Billy! Nothing but warring host protection for you, your family, your friends, your neighbors, and anyone that has/is/will ever watch your *VIDEOS OF LOVE*
After buying 20 Acres of timber in SW Iowa we were blessed to discover your channel and the "stand up and buck" logic. Saved up enough to buy a 592xp w/ a 36" bar. The big saw generally only gets used for bucking but after a lumbar fusion 6 years ago this logic keeps me working my property. Use a 455 Rancher for felling and will be cutting slabs for the buildings this winter with the 592. God Bless Buckin! We love ya!
On your question about bucking standing would be is that my chainsaw only has an 18 inch bar . Lol love the videos buckin , keep em coming 😊 . Only 41 cc
You are a character. Someone so defined by his drive and passion for something. That you are beautifull. I wish more people were like you. I'll be going to start an climbing arborist job in a different country soon. I've never even done it. And I am excited.
hey buckin, How are you doing? Really wonderfully nice people for whom you felled the trees! It is always a pleasure for me to accompany you on your adventures. I'm going to buy a Stihl 07S in a few days, a really great vintage chainsaw 🤗 see you later. and....work hard, be honest and be kind....I learned that from you🤗
I see your running that 2/40 air. That tree could have be a mess. Fortunately that ole Buckin experience an charm came thru. Hope Buckin an all others have a great Friday an weekend.
You're a good man, Charlie Brown ...... I love the life lessons we all need uplifting. What wonderful souls - as you said "look at their eyes". You are blessed and we are too with you sharing. Thank you.
Oh B, I will send this to Randa because she will love it. Teddy Torkko, Fred Menzies (Randa's hubby that passed) were your Dad's best friends. Great video.
Billy! Been a subscriber since you had like 30k probably one of the first to find ya since i live in gold river on the island.. logged for years but have been cutting shake blocks for the last year... i need me a good axe billy ill make the 4hr trip $$$
Always glad to see you with your good friends. It’s not easy to keep good life long friends. We need more love and treat each other as good friends. Always like to see how you read each tree before you take it down that is what helps keep you and others safe. Keep up all of your good work and a smile on your face.
I just checked, for a Ford f150 in a similar condition of the same series you pay 15k and more in Germany. Prices are going crazy, even for less attractive cars you have to pay half a fortune at the moment. Keep that truck rollin' and the good mood right up. Have fun. Love
Buckin, this was a very enjoyable video. I enjoyed your interaction with Sherri and Johnny. I was chuckling with the humor. This would be one job I would say no to due to the crack in the wood. Not enough experience to take a chance. Thanks for the lessons. Take care.
Great video and fine people in it, all the way around. One of the things I love about my rural life is how a normal type day can turn into a kind of adventure. This video gave me that vibe. You're working or maybe just doing a favor and with good people around you the whole thing becomes a life adventure, a day of work you remember fondly. Look for the beauty around you it's everywhere, you just have to see it. 👍
Regarding the question you asked around the 21 minute mark: The only reason I've been bending over to buck is that I've only owned homeowner-grade chainsaws with 16" and 20" bars. As they say, you work with what you've got. Well, I finally got myself a gorgeous second-hand 372xp and let me tell you, my back is DELIGHTED that I can finally buck standing upright with a 28" bar :)
Exactly my problem. I’m 6’4” and I have a 20” bar. Too short. In fact, it’s dangerous the amount I have to lean over. Billy has taught me the solution!
Hi Billy ray I was needing a good saw but limited in money i could put into one so i started watching you iron horse and tin man and i took to looking at the holzfforma 372 xp especially after iron horse give them a good review well I bought one put a 18 inch X force bar and Xcut chains run it in properly well it's just been cutting 28inch English oak like butter using techniques from watching you buck. I'm no expert but I'm a hole lot more competent by watching you for hours. Be well all many thanks love from the UK
even billy has gotten a bit dinged up doing this very physical and dangerous jobs so when he talks about bucking standing up well yeah - you have to have a lot of experience and caution and learning to do this job as safely and efficiently as possible
I'm with you all the way buckin I made the decision that I was going to live my life the same way in love and lift each other up thanks buckin you changed my life ❤
Not even 30 seconds into the video and I’m already smiling, as per usual. Hard not to. Thanks Buckin we love ya. Be kind
Buckin will always put ya in a good mood😊👍✌️
You bet ,, thx

That was a fun experience! Two awesome people from a great generation of folks! Good vibes all around ❤️🪓💚
I saw that little notch you cut in the log cut laying on the ground so it didn't pinch your chain saw. Good move!
That was one tricky cut up against that barn got a little adrenaline rush watching HaHa. Nice video my friend. ♥️👍
I see you were running the “air” on high! Lol
Great stuff Buckin. I hope you have an amazing and safe weekend!

Short bar light saw, my preference because I have hit my boots with a long bar a few times.
Hi bearclaw! Love when hes in the videos! Hes a cool guy.
Thumbs up for amsoil! Just started running Sabre at 50:1 for a little extra oil. So far very clean and smells good.
