I can relate to you. My 1st flight leaving the Phils with a 1 way ticket was on Christmas eve!!!! Imagine that! And its an 8.5 hrs flight! Same with you, i appreciate those road & street lights of Manila.. and my tears starts to drop uncontrollably. So i grab a blanket and cried like a baby..😭😭😭 be strong!!!

Kaya mo yan Ju Won! Sa tingin ko culture shock at lungkot ang problema jan. Iba talaga culture ng Korea sa Pinas. Just make the most out of what you are trying to do there. Uwi ka nalang dito pag di mo na kaya ang lungkot. Wala naman nagsabi na bawal umuwi di ba.
I was like you in 2008 when I moved to Denmark. Super far country. Everything feels strange. I have no family there but my kids' dad. That's when adulting hits me very hard as I have no one else to rely to but myself. It's a constant struggle to fit in.
I still cry in the airport everytime I have to leave PH after vacation. I miss Asia. I miss the Philippines. I hope one day we can afford to travel again with my daughters who are teenagers now. We wish to travel in Japan amd South Korea next time as we are BTS army. Hahaha...

Good to know that you've landed safely and got home without a hitch. Crying is normal and it will keep happening for a few months kasi you will feel very homesick so go and cry until na masabi mo sa sarilimo na tama na. Ok na ako.
One of the first things you'll seek are pinoy foods so hanapin mo kung saan ang mga Pilipino stores, markets and restaurants sa lugar mo. The Filipino character and culture have been ingrained into you for years so you will gravitate towards sa mga pinoy kasi pinoy ka, na mukhang Koreana.😊😊
I don't know what part of Korea you're in but there are a lot of Korean-Filipino na nag post where the pinoy places are. Dinayo din nila kasi na miss din nila yung Pilipino foods. Just remember na you'll be vacationing back to Pinas during your school break? so it's something that you'll look forward to. Looking forward to more vlogs of your exciting journey!

Just discovered your channel and did not know what's going on until I watched your previous video. Leaving home is always sad, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Then come back 'home'. Pinas is not going anywhere. If our country is truly in your heart and soul and already part of your DNA, then you will be back. Keep the faith and stay awesome.

Your videos are so nice, it felt like you’ve been doing youtube for a long time already! Starting off with sharing such an emotional journey is so brave of you, but heartwarming at the same time.
