It ends when Charlie says it ends 😊
🙌
Hell yeah 😎 Charlie kept it going.😂
Charlie's isn't Mick's drummer. Mick is his singer.
What a legend❤
Right, showed him!@@jstohler
Gotta love Ronnie laughing
RONNIE'S busting up that's frustrating when everyone else is spaces out on a ending😮😅😢😮😮😮dammmm🎉😅
Mick was true to the lyrics start me up I'll never stop😂😂
😅
Absolutely
it's a thing of beauty to see how quickly both Mick and Keith caught up to the rest of the band. It sounded seamless
Good catch!
Nothing but raw talent 💯🔥
They aren't called "Glimmer Twins" for nothing :)
Does a good riff ever end? Its still ringing in my ears! 😂😂❤
🎸🎸
"Look, no phones" - well back then we had another device to record memories. I think it was called "brain".
No phones I remember that I wish it still existed.
Do you remember all the shows you went to?
@@rayballestero8872 but you still can get rid of your smartphone, nobody forces you to use it.
I still go see live music but most of my favorite artists are retired or deceased.@@henriqueerenner5741
Ronnie’s laugh is priceless 😂
His laugh is contagious in this clip! Love it❤️
No phones! Love that
Keith & Ron never stop grooving!!😄❤️
That's so Funny 😂
I seen the Rolling Stones at the Colosseum in California they were so AWESOME, God bless them all 🙏🎺✨🎸✨🥁✨🪘✨🪇✨🎷.......😎
Beautiful No Phone Area,Thanks For Post
It's always go to see Bill And Charlie.
Ronny was cracking up 😂
🤣🤣
MICK Jagger ‼️ best Frontmann ‼️ Great Song ❤❤❤❤
WRONG ......... James Brown was.
p.s. : as a matter of fact Mick went on after James Brown in a show as a youngster... he watched from Back stage and knew the weak shit he had planed wasn't gonna fly after James's performance so he created this guy here on the fly that night and here we are decades later he still in that groove . (true story )
I must say, that a lot of 'shorts' feature the ROLLING STONES in some very interesting parts of performances.
After all, it's called "Start me Up", not "End me down". 😂😂
😂
Make a dead man come. Great lyrics man!!!!
Man, we should really look into that “no phones” thing looks great.
That's Right ~ They Should NEVER STOP!
Mick is so 🔥 😮
Living Legends still making new music and playing timeless classics. Greatest Rock n Roll band on the planet.
Saw them in 1981 with this song being the latest hit. Great show!
🤘🤘
Fantastic too hear and see classic always love it 👍❤️💙💎
Keith: (secretly) guys end the song now
Mick: s t a r t m e u p
Ron: (LOL)
Never stop !😮
Hampton Roads Virgina, 18/12/81. Keith’s birthday and the televised HBO, second last show of the North American tour. Available from ‘The Vault’ series, this is an absolute must have. Jumping Jack Flash in this show is by far the best ever live performance.
that's is so hilarious and so cool,
😎😎👍
Lol they are into it love it ❤❤❤❤❤
Ah De Charlie ❤
Oh my lord my favorite song 🎵 ❤️ ❤❤❤❤❤❤ love the stone's 1979 q2 years lod listed to those guys on the radio loved it😊😊
Ronnie’s laughing his ass off
😂
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Only Mick can troll Keith & get away w it!
What a great, great tour. I saw the opener in Philly on 9/25/81 at JFK.
Ronie's laugh says it all !! 😂
😆
No phones and Rock n Roll. Sounds like a Renaissance period.
🤘🎸
The best tour, and my opinion
81-82 Stones are my fav era
72-73 with Taylor the best by far.
I love that look of my youth, when we burnt our fingers with matches or lighters. 😅😅😅😅😅😊❤
Loved it even more!❤
The loosest tight band in the world
Well put 🤘
Ronnie laughing. Lol
He starts it up and he turns it off 🏍
LOVE MICK AND BOYS THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG 🎵 ❤️ START ME UP❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😅😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ends when Charlie says it ends lol
Im 70 and i knew about this in grade school cmon man 😅😅😅
There were times were I thought they played a bit to fast. Thats Why I Think Rock and Roll Circus is under rated. And their 2016 tour was on fire. Maybe the last time they were the best in the world live.
I came to a similar realization about them live recently. They have so many eras. I now think that 90's Stones were some of the best shows, period. And then they go and kill it in Austin in 2006.
I thought their performance at Glastonbury 2013 was great!
Good old days no god dam phones
Good old days
A proper English band!!!
🤣 I Love these Crazy Guys.
🎼 Brilliant !
💫
Hilarious 😊😅😂
Notice that Mick hints to Keith that it was supposed to end in the next bar and that's what Keith and Mick did. Lol

In an interview I heard Bill Wyman say: “Charlie actually plays off Keith as opposed to the other way around. I (Bill) play a bit fast. So if we got it right, you hear a bit of a wobble”.
the hotness
Hey what happened to all the 🤳's ? Anyway, Are 🪨's are always Rolling! 🎶🐎🎵🐎🎶🐎🎵🐎🎶🐎💫💯 Percent..👍..& then Some!..👌...
Too funny 😂
Gotta love the band who made mistakes famous and fark you attitude funny.
Bless em all
Well- they DO say they’ll “never stop”
That happens in my band just about every gig. :-)
Great fun.
It's Keith's band. What he says, goes.
Not here, it's Mick who decided to end as usual.
Ronnie was having fun with that haha
Its Charlies and Keiths band.
I remember Keith saying years ago NOBODY hits it like Charlie
THE WEMBLEY WHAMMER was the nickname they came up with for Charlie.
Once Keith said, on stage i start Mick and he start the word.
Everyone's who's played music live knows that's the way it is. Improvise and adapt.
No phones but I do have to say I do take pics and always one full song video. The reason is a go to so many shows that it allows me to go back to the show and relive/ remember my viewpoint of it. I am unapologetic to that. It’s my memory I’m preserving.
It looks like the 1981 tour.
When its real no phones
Woody along for the ride. Always a good time
Along for the ride? Start Me Up was the first Stones song Woody had a hand in helping to arrange. It was from his early days as a Stone (although not released till years later), and one of his favourites.
@@leekovalskyj9218 along for the ride as in having fun with Charlie and Keef, while pranking Mick.
Must have good genes.
Mick gave the cue 😂 to stop, not Keith.
The band knows that him raisin up his arms is cue
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
No phones! No lighters!
The original working title of this song was "Never Stop" with a more profound reggae riff. This was 12 years before the arrival of the internet! No cell phones indeed. The Stones ended the song just right and when Keith wanted it to end.
Ronnie se ríe porque no finalizaron a tiempo la canción 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😁😁
Early 80's...!?......*the last time I bought a new Stone's album*.....(car-casette).
time to change that.
I saw The Who end WE WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN on stage but Kenney Jones kept pounding on the drums, messing up the ending. The band quickly recovered then ended the song. Daltry, visibly perturbed, began spinning his mic while walking towards the drum riser. He hit and knocked over Kenney's cymbal. I know they are professionals but I felt Daltry overreacted. It is, after all, only rock 'n' roll.
It aspires that Roger wasn't going with Kenney for long.....
@jasfan8247 I always felt Jones was a fine drummer. Saw him twice with Faces and once with The Who. If Daltry (or anyone else) was expecting a Keith Moon clone in Kenney, (or anyone else) then they had only themselves to blame. It could never be. I thought everyone knew that when Keith died. Perhaps Daltry was still feeling guilty over Moon's death.
Daltrey used to be a street fighter, so I guess Kenny got lucky there.
Still Life tour...
He’s bout to crap his pants
I seen the Stones in 82, it seemed like the tempo was sped up on the stage show compared with the studio version...
Js
Always 🎸🤘
What about Mick..., he tried to stop it a good few 'Start me ups' before....😂
“HeY LoOk nO PhOnEs” why do people get so pissy with others just capturing a moment?
Because as you can see here, there is a collective experience completely lost when you have a phone between you and the people around you.
The irony of people defending "capturing a moment" yet they are the very same people who suffer from chronic FOMO.
The act of hiding behind a phone to capture a moment automatically *takes you out* of the very moment you "feared" on missing.
No phones because it was 1981
Yes keef
well, the song is start me up with no follow-up instructions
No phones in 90's...
It ended perfectly on cue, if you ask me.
Well yeah. Because they're pros and bounced back quickly. That doesn't change the fact that they clearly *intended* to end it earlier than they did.
It's happen quite often that Mick is to hot to stop.
But recovered like a pro and didn’t miss a beat
Exactly 💯
Ronnie 🤣
Poor guys. They were tired.
YEAH NO PHONES WHAT THE POINT PAY GOOD MONEY TO SEE STONES THEN RECORD IT !!! 🤣🎶⭐🎶💟
Mick missed the cue from his musical director...Woody thought it was hilarious...
I'm surprised that these guys are still alive.
Bien sûr qu'il n'y a pas de téléphone c'était vraiment la préhistoire
Ou bien c'était "encore" l'histoire.
@@Methilde oui aussi
👍
It is so annoying that everybody hold a phone and looking at it….
📞
😂😂🤗
Hey look no phones. Its the 80s isn't it
I would have been ok if that was their last concert.
