That Eldorado is a dream car. Sadly, Cadillac just doesn’t offer any new cars that I would dream of owning. I keep holding on to my 1984 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible as I have never seen anything that I like better - it has been with me since 1992 and will likely be with me as long as I am able to drive. I am it’s second owner, and I fell in love with it when it was featured on the floor of the St. Louis New Car Dealers’ Automobile Show in 1984 - beautiful dark blue with white leather and top.
A few features of the Eldorado not mentioned in the video: The radio has a built-in 'reverb' feature as well as NOAA weather band (good to have in a convertible). The speedometer recalibrates to metric without having to use two sets of numbers on the dial. Look for 29MPG at 70MPH on the highway. The back seat is very comfortable for a six footer in the steel roof version. Nice tour of the car. Thanks for all of the details!
I bought a 2002 Eldorado ETC with 65,000 miles from Copart in Oregon. $225! Your convertible has latches that are similar to the 1990 to 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertibles built by Cars and Concepts in Georgia.
Nice car, though I wonder about those side boots for the convertible top. I was waiting for the moment, but seems you forgot to put them on? My impression is, are they cumbersome to deal with? To me, it looks like two open void spaces without them & they should be installed.
My only complaint with my 2000 Deville Northstar engine, is how expensive it was to have the sensors fixed. And everything was so hard to actually get to... mechanically it was a great engine. This is a stunning car.

Looking for a early 80's Oldsmobile 98 regency with a 5.7 Diesel. Doesn't have to be prestine or low low miles. But I would like to find a running rust free or very minimal rust candidate. Prefer cloth over leather. But will take what I can get. Only thing I am strongly against is mouse infestation. Small mechanical issues are fine. . Let me know if you can help. I had one in burgundy with burgundy velour when I was younger. And now I'd like one again.
i remember those convertibles. i think there was a few convertibles for 1979-1985 i think were after market. i did see one Seville similar generation as your Eldorado made into a convertible 4 door convertible is very different looking. you always have good videos.
Did u sell it yet ? If so what price range did it sell for? . I am looking to purchase one in the near future. I keep watching and waiting for jet the right car for me . I have had a 1970 couple & a brougham , also a 1973 sedan deville My last was a 1990 Fleetwood brougham Triple White with vogue wheels and wire trims from the factory.... l miss that car . Some one stole it from me when l lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2000
3/25/2023 I have a 2002 Eldorado ESC, metallic Red, cream leather interior same as the white convertible, 63,850 original miles. No rust ever, garage kept, engine clean as new from the factory. No moderations.

Engine Engine is an eight-cylinder, overhead cam,
Northstar engine with four valves per cylinder. It
produces 300 horsepower, gets 25 miles per gallon
of gas on the highway (using cruise control), and 19
mpg in town consistently.
Design Feature Dash and doors are tastefully enhanced with genuine
zebrano wood.
P.S.: Like your videos...can't say the same for the after-market soft-top on this example...it ruins the
original roof line and looks like an after-thought.
Thank You for taking the time to add this information, very much appreciated!
What a beautiful car just needs the Godfather air horn.
I like it, it pays homage to the 80's Eldorado ❤️
How much you want Anthony, Would love to have it.
He is asking 17,995
When are you posting the Escalade?
Keep watching Alex I'm sure it will be coming up very soon Papa 🐻 & Anthony
Looking for a early 80's Oldsmobile 98 regency with a 5.7 Diesel. Doesn't have to be prestine or low low miles. But I would like to find a running rust free or very minimal rust candidate. Prefer cloth over leather. But will take what I can get. Only thing I am strongly against is mouse infestation. Small mechanical issues are fine. . Let me know if you can help. I had one in burgundy with burgundy velour when I was younger. And now I'd like one again.
I would like to see papabears dts convertible
Hey Sam maybe we can take it out soon it has been stored in side for the past winter. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
GM doesn't make cars like that any more. The conversion makes it look great.
You forgot to show how to install the 'jelly beans' What the heck LOL
What's your price?
How do you get in the back with the seat belts in the way
i remember those convertibles. i think there was a few convertibles for 1979-1985 i think were after market. i did see one Seville similar generation as your Eldorado made into a convertible 4 door convertible is very different looking. you always have good videos.
I love these cars! In my bucket list is a 84-85 ElDorado rag top and this one as well!! GLWTS!!
Neat with the top down ugly with it up. They should have made it a hard top convertible or at least angled the back if the ragtop.
Boy is that the smallest rear window I’ve ever seen. Nicely done though.
What does the 91 and 85 Cadillacs look like?
Just stunning!
Oh wow that's a conversion!
Did u sell it yet ? If so what price range did it sell for? .
I am looking to purchase one in the near future.
I keep watching and waiting for jet the right car for me . I have had a 1970 couple & a brougham , also a 1973 sedan deville
My last was a 1990 Fleetwood brougham
Triple White with vogue wheels and wire trims from the factory.... l miss that car . Some one stole it from me when l lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 2000

I have a 2002 Eldorado ESC, metallic Red, cream leather interior same as the white convertible, 63,850 original miles. No rust ever, garage kept, engine clean as new from the factory. No moderations.
Gorgeous car 💯
Looks like The Flintstones car
Nice Lac Ant....
Happy Father's Day to you and Papa Bear!!!
is this car still avalible. I would like to buy it , like 2 mins ago
I love this generation ElDorado, but I’ve never cared for the convertibles…but I’m noticing for the first time, from the side it almost has an old school 80’s ElDorado style
Beautiful car and serviced perfectly!
