One of the first videos where there's not a combat knife (big enough to kill a bear with) used to open the package. Last week I ordered a few of thes and some other Reolink models, so this video is very welcome.
They are great cameras. Every last one has been flawless which is more than i can say for some I have tested over the years. Really like the solar cameras as no power is needed and they make it through our winters no problem.
I’ve not tried mine on motion record but I’m going to give it a go based on your experience. They are Flir, not Reolink but I would consider a PZT Solar... but not the one you had grief with earlier in the year! As ever, thanks Dave.
hiya thank you for doing this film, I actually bought and installed the heim vision camera that you demistrated last year, its been invaluable to me a great purchase indeed I have this in front of my home, and yes I have purchased cloud storage.... its 24/7 recording, via the Pix plus app my question is please, can I run another camera such as reallink to my devices? And the No cloud storage is certainly better thank you love your channel ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐📼🎥
Yet again a very good security camera :-D. So it must have a 5 second buffer memory that is re-filled every five seconds and if an event happens the buffer is saved with the rest of the event period. Did you ever sort out your sd card problem with one of your cameras?
Can the Led Emitters be switched off, in the case the camera would look through a window too the outside, where the area is illuminated by Led Street lamps. I would be interested in the picture quality the camera provides, because this is the way I would mount my next camera to prevent any vandalism. Thanks for the effort.
I just bought Reolink rlc-410w's and they are awful compared to my Argus cameras which use PIR. The 410s pick up every little thing, and if I turn the sensitivity down they miss events. I'm also plagued by insects at night constantly triggering motion, also fog sets off the motion detection. Does the 510wa perform better in that type of situation because of the human and vehicle detection? Do you get many false alarms? Thanks.
The 510w is much better at detecting human and traffic. Keep in mind that all cameras that work off of pixel detection will be triggered more often than pir detecton that is purely passive heat detection.
@@12voltvids Thanks for the reply.. I'm really struggling with whether I should just get more PIR cameras since I already know they give far less false alarms. Or if I should try the 510wa.
Appreciate the detailed review of the camera. Thanks.

My other reolink cameras have the ability to manually turn on the spot light
Thanks for the video.. Its the monthly plan you have to inspect the video archive on desktop & phone?
you can do it on both

Did you ever sort out your sd card problem with one of your cameras?
I have one that won't see the SD card but i need to get the big ladder out to reach it so i have left it

They give fewer false alarms but they also miss many events.
@@12voltvids Yes, I know PIR is not always reliable either. I appreciate the help. Thank you.
What's type of sd card are you using it in this camera? My sd didn't work with it
Did the 12V power adapter come with it? Do you need a PoE switch for it to work?
Yes comes with adapter.
Hi, does it supports zoom? How its operates since you installed it, any troubles?
Still working. Zoom is digital
How has it been holding up. Is it worth it
All the reolink cameras I have (2 wired and 2 solar) are working perfectly.
When SIM card fills up does camera record over the oldest recording?
SIM card? You mean SD card. Yes it overwrites oldest footage.
@@12voltvids thanks what size of storage card would you recommend for not constant recording?
@@12voltvids have you tried any Reolink cameras that have the rounded dome for a corner?
@@12voltvidsand is a longer power cord available?
I use 64 or 128gb.
What SD Card? Does it come with an SD Card?
SD card is optional. You supply your own. Same as cloud recording.
very poor video and lots of artifacts is that from rendering or youtube?
Probably as the video quality is quite good off the as card
