I use Okuma Convector reels, various sizes. My "top line" rig is on an "ugly stick" and is 10lb mono. I have a Shimano trolling rod for my lead core, 30lb. braid backing, 18lb. lead, 12lb. mono leader.
@@AnthonyLopez-zo2rl Unfortunately we don't have one. There is basic stuff at Menegon's Hardware near Stateline. Thats where I get worms but they also have basic "trout" lures too. There is a "Big 5" at the other end of town but it doesn't open till 10 and their fishing dept. Sucks. Good Luck! I'm probably gonna out again on Saturday morning.
Super trophy brown! Awesome. 👍🙏🎣⚒
What reel and pole setup are you currently using? And what pound line do you suggest for fishing trout in Tahoe ?

@@TahoeYakFisher Your the best, thanks :)
Do you think top lining with a lure/plug like that will work as we start into June ?
Yes but only dawn and dusk. Midday will be more productive deeper, on the lead core.
