OMG a mini-trruck! I haven't seen one of those since high school lol. They would drop them down to the ground, trick them out with hydraulics & load the beds with as many sub woofers(?) That would fit & cruise around on Friday night booming base that would shake windows & yer bones lol. It's a little speedy thing huh.? Cool! 😬😎👍

Ah, the weapon that is the Datsun SR20... I love this wee truck, black accents will be mint with the Midnight Purple. The coilovers will make a huge difference and here's hoping you can keep the air-con too.

As far as Datsuns go my very first car was a 1971 Datsun 240Z I bought when I was in the Army from the third owner. Anyway, as a surfer 🏄🏻♂️ trucks are relevant to my lifestyle
Great vid, I am debating right now if I want to get rid of old Mazda tribute that we have. Hasn't run in a very long time. As far as I know it is the alternator, but will need to have the engine flushed as well just because it sat for 2 or 3 years in the drive way.
I can only imagine what the midnight purple will look like. I have midnight blue shingles on my house, and they look good.

Dude this Truck is going to look mint once all the work is done, you should consider Stainless Steel mounting hardware for the Fender flairs it would add a nice clean pop with out taking anything away from it

Did you replace the front stabilizer bar? Im in the process off doing mine but the oil pan sits on the bar. Tried to raise the engine, now unable to close the hood 😢

So many questions, where did u get the face swap I thought 720s only had square head lights, the splitter is awesome is it a custom fab? Also 4 link kit where pleaseeee lmk I’ve got a grey 1980 king cab mint that I’m working on swapping a 1jz or a k20/25 in (haven’t decided yet)
So the face is a Japanese specific market item, this being a Thai import, they have the Japanese stuff too, the front lip is a custom piece but you can actually get them off of eBay believe it or not! And as for the custom coil over kit, that's from a guy on Instagram called Jason pope, beebani customs, makes amazing custom fab kits for old Datsuns! Go 1jZ or RB26!

@Car Nonsense do you think there is enough room for an I6 without relocating the radiator or messing with firewall it’s a pretty shore engine bay
Without relocating the radiator? No, it's a fairly large bay, but I think it would take the radiator moving forward into the grill for an inline six
This is a long shot, but are you able to tell me which thai front brake cable is the right one for this chassis? The USA is fresh out across every part counter.
I have different brakes though, so I have no idea. I'd just detach it or measure it's diameter and the fittings, or, but some braided lines and then adapt the fittings you have to it
@@MrHVlogsMore I appreciate you answering! 1, what rear end do you have? I am curious to do a pathfinder vlsd disk brake coil over swap from the local junkyard in the long run. Any other recommendations I can get these driveshaft splines into? 2. I have a part that doesn't fit but all brand new levers and fittings, just need to shorten the housing and recrimp a ferrule.. how would you recommend undoing the factory crimps from the fitting onto the line and refastening? I could drill out the old crimped in cable? I have a drill press, welder, hydraulic press and some other good shop tools.

I didn't, it came on it, it's a Thailand 720 so JDM spec, they came with them I believe

Yeah it's being completely restored and customized now, you did a great job on it, but there was a lot of rust in the firewall that caused a big leak sadly! Plus, engine mounts were broken
