You're not wrong. The three are actually considered as the 3 gods in MH lore, so in a sense, they are similar as legendary trios in Pokemon. And the fact that Akantor and Ukanlos appeared in the Main title, while Odi currently only MHFrontier exclusive, perhaps have some resemblance trait to 3rd legendary of legendary trio

I think a Whale based one for Water that crashes like a living wave would be cool As for Thunder, a nimbler one that might use some form of kinetic based energy that involves them moving a bunch to charge themselves
Ukanlos’s theme starts really strong but kinda gets weaker toward the middle for me. Plus his fight is kinda aggravating due to his damn swimming attack that forces you to stop what you’re doing and run so much.

My only gripe with its design is Odi's apparent bright human-like teeth. It woulf be better if it's on the same darker coloration like Uragaan's teeth, making it not as stand out.

Well, there was the time they did with 2nd G (AKA Freedom Unite) and they received a lot of backlash from Japanese players due to the inclusion of Hypnocatrice and Lavasioth, 2 Frontier monsters. People were arguing that they were paying for Frontier subscriptions for exclusive content, so having those show up in main series kinda defeated the purpose. So they've strayed from ever including more Frontier content since then.

@@elk3407 It really started with the reintroduction of Lavasioth in World, but yeah it is sad the game got shut down. So we can hope that both Lavasioth and Espinas aren't just a novelty. Many of the Frontier Monsters has really great designs and fight concepts

Akantor, the Black God of Fire Ukanlos, the White God of Ice Odibaterasu, the Red God of Sand Now while there isn't a water equivalent to these 3, but how about we put Poborubarumu in with them? The Blue God of Water has a nice ring to it.

Ukanlos theme is soo good. Suits him perfectly and I always prefer him to Akantor, something more menacing about him even though he’s less overtly edgy
Odibatorasu's theme is just Great Theme from tri/3U (which i never played, but i listened to that theme) but for this monster, and more japanese. Capcom when Red Tutel tank in Rise ult?

One of Akantor's hunter's book entries mentions its body structure and evidence of vestigial wings, making a Flying Wyvern by technicality. It and Ukanlos have the same body as Tigrex/Nargacuga/Barioth, so it's actually pretty accurate for them to be FWs.
They’re both strong enough to be elder dragons in the sense that they are powerful ancient beings, Ukanlos eats Kirin and Daoras on the daily and Akantor is known as The Destruction and is constantly monitored by the Guild. However neither of them have really anything beyond their brute strength, size and intelligence, so they stay in the wyvern category

Why doesn't capcom bring odibatorasu and other monsters from monster hunter frontier to the main series?
Well, there was the time they did with 2nd G (AKA Freedom Unite) and they received a lot of backlash from Japanese players due to the inclusion of Hypnocatrice and Lavasioth, 2 Frontier monsters. People were arguing that they were paying for Frontier subscriptions for exclusive content, so having those show up in main series kinda defeated the purpose. So they've strayed from ever including more Frontier content since then.
@@pablomadrid6962 well, now they must be super happy playing their game with exclusive content, right?... it's true the frontier servers closed... it's this kind of thing that makes me angry with some fans, they don't think a game which is exclusively online one day it will close, this is inevitable (except world of war craft, this game I think is infinite lol) then all that content will end up in limbo... glad they managed to create a private server, at least he won't die on the computers.
@@DarthHunter96 At the time they were paying a subscription as well as having to buy the disks for a game with like 3 exclusive monsters and that was it. They kinda had a reason to be upset. But now that frontier is no more, we're getting frontier monsters in new games starting with Sunbreak

So we can hope that both Lavasioth and Espinas aren't just a novelty. Many of the Frontier Monsters has really great designs and fight concepts

The early Monster Hunter games were goofy in general.
A bit late, but I think most of it's theme sounds quite goofy. Ukanlos definitely got the better draw in the music department.

All of them should be in Elder Dragon class . I mean come on Capcom you named them God but why you classified these monster in wyvern type? its make no sense.
One of Akantor's hunter's book entries mentions its body structure and evidence of vestigial wings, making a Flying Wyvern by technicality.
It and Ukanlos have the same body as Tigrex/Nargacuga/Barioth, so it's actually pretty accurate for them to be FWs.

They’re both strong enough to be elder dragons in the sense that they are powerful ancient beings, Ukanlos eats Kirin and Daoras on the daily and Akantor is known as The Destruction and is constantly monitored by the Guild. However neither of them have really anything beyond their brute strength, size and intelligence, so they stay in the wyvern category
These 3 could definitely beat black fatalis if they work together, too bad they live in different locales and probably hated each other too

The 3 have wild mindless animal levels of intelligence while fatalis is on par with humans and wyverians on intellect. He can also fly.
