- I play solo guitar every Thursday evening at the Green Mill in Chicago for the Cocktail Hour show. I take audience requests and play a mix of standards, Brazilian tunes and jazz classics. This clip features all the songs from the first set from the evening of January 23, 2020. In my spoken intro I mistakenly said the set was from February, sorry for the confusion!
On this video I am is using a 1991 Gibson ES 165 tuned down a whole step guitar and a 1966 Fender Vibrolux. It was filmed using an iPhone 7.

I probably listen to one of your concerts about once a week. Will check out on Zelle. Love your music man, love your style. Thank you. Stay safe!
I have been following you ever since you put out your whisky lounge video in 2015. I just wanted to say I more than respect your work. I am doing music full time in school right now and you're an inspiration to me. Keep it up, good luck with everything!
Thanks for the kind words Jack!
Really like the way you your thumb steady in Bossa Nova. A lot of jazz guitarists ignore this, ruins the feel completely
Nuages super

Thank you Chris!
Hi Andy, wanted to play sunny with you..did you tune down a whole tone ? thx
Yup. Sounds nice that way I think...
Any chance you plan on creating a Venmo account?
Hopefully soon, thanks!
Andy, can you setup more Skype or Zoom lessons? I had a couple with my mentor at the head of this virus, and the bandwidth seemed to be okay. I, for one, would love to take some lessons with you. I KNOW that I'm not alone in that request. I can't speak of how to set that up, but I am sure another fan here could help get your video lessons setup to accommodate for the lower internet speeds. Btw, go and buy Andy's "Direct Call" album! Just left another review on Amazon, they don't have your albums properly filed over there. Great album!
I am teaching online these days. Send me an email at andybrownguitar@yahoo.com if you're interested.
