- Update: After a year or two, we finally have a sequel with a very different ending, please see Dog Meets Deer as well, at • Dog Meets Deer
Rasta the Vizsla slowly stalks down a wolf on a golf course (turns out it was a coyote). This is real time, not slowed down, the stalking was actually about 6 minutes, cut down to a bit over 2 minutes. Shaky screen because it was filmed on an iPhone, I just figured out how to stabilize the video, but UA-cam says this video has too many Views to save it that way. A German company owns the music, so cannot save this video to allow mobile or TV, but someone said this works: www.vidvir.com/watch/Wji, although does not show on my iPhone. The first song is from Jaws, the second song from Wizard of Oz. The dog is pointing, a Vizsla, one of the oldest breeds, 1,000 years old. Thanks for so much support. Thanks. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
I like how the dog slowly turns his head to the human like "shhhhh, you're going to give me away!"
He going like a tiger slowly
More like, Are we still doing this?
Be vewy cawful I'm hunting wolves.
He’s a pointer. All pointer do the same.
@@pjm8047 Very similar to vizla, amazing stocking 👍
The dramatic music. The dogs ridiculous slow movement. It’s freaking perfect. 😂🤣

@@GoogleUser-dwcy yes
You mean the Jaws music!!

Title: "Dog meets wolf"
Video: "Dog hunts wolf"
Me: "Well, that escalated quickly"
haha, i love how happy he is when he realises there's nothing to be cautious/afraid of.
Doggo got the joke.

I KNOW ITS TOOOO GOOD!!!
Yes - this was PERFECT!
It had me going for so long!! Absolute genius!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Misleading title... but it's kind of funny how he's absolutely focused on the wolf until he realizes it's fake and then suddenly the ball is way more interesting.
Its actually a fake fox I see them at stores
Its 2 years old but let me explain: The dog is doing ''forestanding''. Basically hunting dogs were breeded to stand perfectly still / approach a target extremely slowly while being fixated at it the entire time. Its not that its interesting, the dog is just showing his owner/hunter that there is something in the distance. So the hunter could shoot it and the dog retrieve it.
Since there is no hunter to shoot, the dog approaches it alone, realizes its not real, and goes back to play mode instead of ''forestand'' mode.
Misleading on purpose. The title makes the video funny. It's called Poetic Irony.
@@oceaneyes2658 You right, a wolf would be twice the size.
X D
I didn't think dogs could be ninjas like this, holy crap! That's one super patient and meticulous sneaker.
I can't believe anyone disliked this epic masterpiece of a video. Plot, Cinematography, Composition, Score, Acting. All 10/10!
deceptive advertisement and you had to waste your time before finding out
It really is a bad one. There is one with the cat stalking a hawk. That's the masterpiece. Watch this and tell me ua-cam.com/video/lM0MwxNKlz8/v-deo.html
@P Kamino 8/8
2 minutes and 37 seconds of nothing nice.
It that a fully grown wolf tho
The dog was like "oh thank God almighty that this is not real"
omg the dog's body language was intense!! That sneaking up in slow-mo!!! lol....
It's a pointer. It has been bred to do exactly this for hunting purposes.
''Dont worry bro! i got thim. Shhh. I need to be quiet. He cant see me. Lol he must be sto stupid. Ooh shit im so scared. I cant take him. Maybe i can. I can. Shhh. Easy now. Easy now. Oh shit. Slowly... Very slowly and carefully... Slow- OH LOOK A BALL
too funny
Red Carpet LOL!
Yup... dogs are like that.
Red Carpet I think that the dog could tell once he got close that this wasn't a real animal and then he went into playful mode.
Red Carpet lmfao i cried laughing, walked off so sad then it was like HOLY SHIT A BALL!
Sean Breheny what was that dogs breed
Song at the end? If someone says "Darude - Sandstorm," I'll gut you.
Sarude - Dandstorm
Lazarus Ok, that made me chuckle.
It's the song from wizard of oz, emerald city part i think
Song name is Optimistic Voices ua-cam.com/video/9nq34mISKUo/v-deo.html

This is honestly a masterpiece
The dog walks so very slowly like a cartoon character, it was funny.

+Jeong-hun Sin lmao, I thought is was the camera. That was kind of amazing.
+Jeong-hun Sin
It's called Pointing.
I didn't know dogs could stalk like that. :P Dogs always seem so eager and outgoing.
hes actually pointing at it, its a hungarian vizsla - a breed for hunting similar to weimaraner. and yup they both stalk like this :) but if u ever really get to know a vizsla...u will not refrain from calling them eager and outgoing believe me, they are probably the craziest breed i know of , theyre just awesome dogs :D
German shorthair pointer do this instinctually. Great family dogs too
@@davidmarshall7887 As do Alpha Dobermans and some other breeds of alpha males. Had Dobermans for about 34 years and watched them do this under the correct circumstances.
Got a young German Shepherd now. He is a very energetic alpha male, still learning.

My dog would never allow a wolf to come close to our place. Wolves stay clear our homestead.
But it’s actually just a bunch of pillows with some fur coats around the side
loved the dog reaction at the end, its like he got the joke!!!
I've never seen a dog move feline like that before. That was pretty cool.
I gather by the camera shaking for the second half, the owner was in fits of laughter. Epic work.
LOVE how the music changes to Wizard of Oz music. Fantastic.
LOL I LOVE! He seems very well trained. An elegant looking dog too :)
The wolf knows how to stay still and the dog was so fake.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The wolf was so fake and the dog was so real liar
Lps Cheetah omg, are u 11.... hes obviously being sarcastic. a joke...
Ergo smooth It's a very young kid, ease up! Cheetah likes to watch videos about PewDiePie and Britney (who doesn't even know how to spell her own name) and Nylah Kitty and LPs Pup Rock the Beat!!! Cheetah may only BE 11. Too young to understand sarcasm, pilgrim.
Gil Mosko wtf no im 11 and ive understood sarcasm since i was 6
The dog was like are you freaking serious frank it wasn't real I was scared half to, oh look a ball!!!
That dog has got some mad ninja skills! That Wolf didn't even know he was there until it was too late!😂

Loved this. We timed our GSP one day creeping on a chipmunk at the edge of the woods, took her 42 minutes to cover 20 yards before she finally charged in. We never said a word to her. Pointing breeds are awesome.
Wow! That's some *beautiful* pointing behaviours bubbling right up to the top! The music was also on point, lol
The dog would be such a great actor tbh
The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife.....until he realized it was fake.......I like the big smile afterward.....
fake wolf they are twice as big and good for dog the wolf would have killed it with EASE

Exactly the same thought hahahahaa.
*Vizla
2:18 hahah thats adorable

The back right leg cracks me up...... and the “oh look, my Bally...”. The music is absolutely brilliant.
Hahah. The back leg was too funny!!! Such intensity! 😆
EDIT: I know it's a year old comment, but the video is still funny and also the comment! 🥴
The best sound editing on You Tube. This is so hilarious I enjoy watching it over and over! The dog's stalking is like ballet.
That dog is actually very smart...he noticed that the camera person was moving in the line of sight of the "wolf" and that the wolf didn't look or react and only then did the dog realize it was safe. Animals are much smarter and intuitive than most people give them credit for. They also have feelings so be nice to them.
tattle tail the future furby - ya think?
Loved watching the stalking progress and posture!!!!!
great screenplay, direction, acting, special effects, editing and finally distribution
Dog: "You did this, didn't you. I should have known!!!"
So cute! That vizsla was super into it! I love the music you chose :)
This is one of my favorite dog videos, because of the end how you can literally see the relief and joy in her doggy face when it clicks in her head "play time!"
Okay you fool me, good video and background music.LOL And very superb acting from the dog.
Great video! My terrier crouched low, started growling when I put a picture I was working on, next to the door. It showed a mother and child. It certainly got my attention.
Pay attention, youtubers. THIS is how you add background music to a video.
More importantly, how do you eliminate it?
pyrotechnic5254 pathetic
what the fuck is that music
it's in description

My username is so long I ate a bacon cheeseburger! Yes
Darn just lost two and a half minutes of my life that won't get back.
Why did you watch it till the end then? You could see it wasn't a real wolf from the beginning of the video.
Yeah idiot
Amazing how that wolf never flinched. True warrior.
Great video, love the music and how it changes when your dog realizes there is no threat. Adorable!
One of the best clips I've ever seen...loved it!
Dog got some serious pointing skills!
Supremely controlled approach followed by a hilarious ending!! Brilliant stuff.
Hilarious. Beautiful dog and wonderful choice of music for the action. Grats!
I thought it was a funny video..I don't understand all the hate from these other posters..
CSM1470 Some might not be old enough to get the references.

Those are some very stealthy moves by the bloodhound. :)
It's actually not a bloodhound. It's a Viszla
A what? Ok, if you say so. Looks a lot like a bloodhound.
Lon Diffenderfer Nah. Bloodhounds have a little more of a droopier face, and much longer ears. They are a bit thicker and have longer tails as well. They also typically have a little black on them. But not always. The dog in this video is called a Hungarian Vizsla. If you know what a Weimaraner is, then Vizslas are like a crimson colored one of them. Look up a Vizsla online and you should be able to see that that's what this dog is. I can see how you might confuse it with a bloodhound though. Just cause of his coat color
Lon Diffenderfer Also, I just looked at the description on the video, and it says the dog's a Vizsla :)
Poliski sokolu
Oh the music had me on the edge of my seat!!! ....lol.... It went along with the slow movement of the dog!!! This was great!...lol...
I love how the dog was like
"You were jus playing with me, I thought I spotted a wolf"
nd the music was so fun to listen to
I laughed so hard. He's trying so hard to be slick
Hi paplo
The most funny was the slow movement of the dog 😂😂 Well done
"Sloooowly I turned. Step by step. Inch by inch. LOL
The 21K people who disliked the video don’t understand true comedy.
OMG... You got me real good bro, especially that music genre make me feel like watching a 60's monster classic movie are on the act of hunting a couple french kissing not knowing they are about to be dinner.
The ending certainly was not what I expected. Funny as feck!! Loved it :)
Love that he went to pick up his ball soon as his guard went down. Scared shitless his tail hadn't moved a flick throughout.
Oh shit that moment when the dog realises it was fake and hes like oooohhhh snap look at me stalking a fake wolf runs around in glee
I was totally on the edge of my seat! Good dog!
Me too
This dog was a cat in a past life
a well trained pointer. He never broke. The "wolf" was the size of a coyote.
Vizlas are hunting dogs breed for "pointing" pray and returning it once its shot. They have traditional sense for catching or attacking prey. Watch videos where vizlas where they are used for bird hunting.
Stalking Wolf, Stalking Wolf, Stalking Wolf.... Oh look, a tennis ball!
This dog gave skill enhancement classes of stalking to the cat family.
Wow. Ive never seen anything like it. That's amazing to watch. Glad I came across this. Thanks for sharing
That was simply fantastic. Had me going until the end. It's gotta be the best thing on the internet... second only to the guy punching the kangaroo that was holding his dog. Just perfect!
That is some awesome pointing.
Absolutely hilarious!!! Thank you so much!!!
Shout outs to the cameraman who was able to keep his cool during the earthquake
Genius music. The dog questioned his life in the last inches about a hundred times
the tense ass music though
I know? What tha hell XD so serious but all he was doing was walking slowly
+BlueSamurai Xx comedy I think
That was intense.
you can see how our perspectives changed from a decade ago. This is considered click bait back then but now its just a funny prank.
Brilliant vid. Congratulations. One of the best I've seen on UA-cam. Almost cinematic.
Natural instinct, slowly creeps then goes oh it's fake yay!! I am safe!
that was some bullshit. I want my 2:37 back! LOL :D
This is what i watch in quarintine and enjoy..
I will admit, I was in suspense for awhile, until I noticed the wolf had a 5th leg. Lol! The soundtrack was awesome!
Dog: Almost there!!!! ok ok im here now to...wait a sec "sniff" "sniff" oh this is fake... Wheres my ball...There it is....MASTERRRR MASTER LOOK I HAVE A BALLL LETS PLAY LETS PLAY.. loolololol
Very good video!
It is clearly shown the hunting instinct activated (visual pointing of the prey) at the Hungarian Vizsla dog, even that the pray is not a small mammal or bird.
The tense was so long because the wind blows in the coyote's direction, from the dog. He could not smell the "enemy", or pray.
Imagine the second of disappointment of this dog.... realizing that is a toy coyote... :)
Congrats.
That pointing behavior is really beautiful to watch
Great job by that Vizsla. We were running and swimming our dogs at a strip pit one day. One of our German Shorthairs disappeared for awhile and we went looking for him. We found him across the road, locked up solid, respectfully honoring the “point” of three or four of those decorative deer people put in their yards out in the country.
Stupid? Yes. But man, that was some powerful genetics at work. This Vizsla got some genetics going on too.
Great music selections.
absolutly brilliant!
OMG, just made my day, thank you! Great sound track too!
Dog: "Thank God its fake! Lucky for for him, I would have torn him to pieces."
