Being a Christian 24/7 really is difficult (and might even seem impossible). We tend to give in to our worldly selves or the world itself every now and then. And that's why we need to keep being reminded... every day, every meal, every hour if possible, and hopefully, we remember, every second and even every moment of our lives: the promise, the fulfillment, the second coming, and the life everlasting that we supposedly live for and look forward to. :)
Yeah, but what helped decrease the struggle for me was just learning how to fall more in Love with Jesus. So much that I naturally stopped desiring sin and other things and started desiring him more. John Piper said it like this.. “Sin is what we do when we aren’t satisfied with God.” So if he isn’t our highest pleasure then we look for pleasure in other places, naturally. So I feel you sister 😂 me and all the rest of Gods chosen family. But I just wanna encourage you to check out Eric Gilmour’s UA-cam channel. He teaches a lot on how to grow closer to God and fall deeper in Love with him with eyes set on him so all of our internal struggles and hardships just start to fade away. We will have trouble In this world without a doubt, but Jesus gives us himself so that we are able to have peace in the storms. But anyways, It’s super good stuff! Praying for you sis!
I certainly remember the fulfillment, His promise and that’s what makes it harder, knowing I gave in when I was weak that His fulfillment is greater than that 😭
Amen! This is so amazing how God is choosing his people (I'm not saying I'm chosen) but I wasn't saved by Christ when you wrote this, but now I am. Praise the Lord! We we're lost but now found 😊
Great points Pastor...👉🏻 1. Schedule Your Values 👉🏽 2. Set your life in accordance to your values 👉🏿 3. Be like Paul "All things to all People" to save lives by sharing Christ . Ruling your Life is much more difficult than ruling others...completly agree with you Pastor.
In light of the craziness that's going on outside of my window (June 6th, 2020 - police brutality, citizens protesting, other citizens rioting).... this was my reading this morning. Definitely a chapter I want to dig in to.
Sounds like Gods perfect timing. Praying for your protection and for many opportunities for you to share the Good news. God Bless you and Keep you and make his Face shine upon you ❤️🧡❤️💜❤️💜🧡
This was my today's reading. 6 months of being in this pandemic environment I'm thankful to God for protecting me and my family. I saw myself change and drift away and come back several times. Only recently I start realizing Gods promises in my life and I cant waste time like this. I have pets rather I got myself pets to distract from all the sad news around. Now I see myself spending more time with them or tending for them. But definitely thinking about what I value the most is important but while listening to this reading God is saying what I know God values most in my life. Is tending to my pets enough. This will pass away too. Should I be rather focusing on something else than what brings joy to me. Probably this is what I have to delve deeper into. Thank you branch together. If you would like to add your insights/ thoughts on this please do.
Thank you for this!! I just have a question, I was just reading Exodus and I'm wondering if we still have to follow the laws of Moses? I looked it up and there's clearly two sides, do u know any scripture to support that too? This is your reminder that Jesus loves you by the way, i hope you're doing well now brother in Christ! ❤ Never give up, the pain you are feeling now can't compare to the joy that's coming ~ ( Romans 8 18)
Many times, the pastor has already prayed so as not to take up the 10 mins intended for the teaching. You might not see the person praying before or after; trust that the prayers were offered to God.
I’m confused by your take on this section, Paul seemed to talk about not receiving a reward from people who he shared the gospel to, to deny their material reward because he just wanted to share the gospel only. You talk about prioritizing important things 🤔 How did you get that interpretation
Questions: 1. Why did Paul follow the sacrificial laws around unbelieving Jews when he knew it was a sin to do so? 2. Did Jesus ever stop keeping Torah laws when he was around gentiles to win them over to the faith? 3. Why did Paul use deception against his unbelieving Jewish brothers to win them over to the faith? 4. While Jesus was on the earth, did he ever condone his disciples using deception to win people over to the faith? 5. When Jesus left the earth, did he ever condone or promote the use of deception by his followers to win people over to the faith? 6. Does Jesus presently condone or promote the use of deception by his followers to win people over to the faith? 7. Did Jesus teach Paul how to use deception to win over unbelieving Jews to the faith? 8. Is deception a tool of Satan or Jesus? 9. Is there any darkness in Jesus or his father?
It helps me. I'm an ER doc, and I love Jesus. I know I'm called to be His hands and feet in the workplace, and I take that seriously. I also know that going days without food (feeding from God's Word) leaves me gasping. Following Branch Together, morning by morning, for about 10mins every day, alongside praying (while getting ready for daily ER-team debrief sessions at 8am at the office ) is like making sure I get a bowl of breakfast cereal before running a marathon everyday. It might be nothing for some, but oh how grateful I am to God, for this place I can connect with, and keep a daily discipline of meditating on the Word every morning. When I get to read more, I'm grateful, but this, finding this here, is a very special gift from God, to me. Thank you for Branch Together!

love this, although sometimes we end up running aimlessly Christ always brings us back to our focus and what we value in life
I've seen this amazing video several times. I never tire of seeing this. Wonderful depiction of this Scripture❣️

He was explaining that Paul was prioritizing the gospel, so much that it was even at the sake of having to adjust to all things and people ! 😊

Why are you talkinng/preaching about "you"(othes) and not about "we"(us) Are you over ev erything?
This isn't Bible study . It's Scripture reading with a little bit of nothing.
