I grew up watching this movie with my family, especially my older brother and we still quote it till this day. We have such fond memories watching certain horror movies like Silver Bullet, Lost Boys, Fright Night, and Nightmare on Elm Street ☺️
Thanks for doing this. Loved SB since my "Young & Cool" aunt and uncle let me watch it at their place (when my Hank & Peggy Hill-esqe parents never would have). This, Hooper's Salem's Lot & M.Overdrive were staples growing up.
Thanks Jason and thank to your "young & cool" aunt and uncle for introducing you to these classics!! I am just glad my parents were oblivious to HBO and video store rentals ;-)
@@AlexandraVince that's amazing. I hope you post on the Silver Bullet Facebook page when you complete your novel. Great community of Silver Bullet fans there.
Very well done Garrett! You have covered a lot of filming locations that I thought that I knew where they were through misinformation, but you have set the record straight here. Amazing how the area where the house was located is so built up since they filmed there in 1984. I also heard that the house was moved to another location, would be great if somebody finds it.
As I pause this video to say Mr. Garrett, You do great locations, I am a subscriber, This channel Is going to get bigger, I just want to say before It does, I truly believe you are the first person to film the Boarded up Murder house from the movie, I also think your the longest list of locations video as well. Great work Sir, I am a movie info junky and I am a subscriber now, I watched Part 1 of this as a non subscriber but you have great finds here. Also Maximum Overdrive was a awesome video as well, I drove right by the truck stop running from Irma, I knew it was It the second I saw the Estes Trucking. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for your kind words😊. It means a lot!! I have more coming down the pipeline. I have two more Silver Bullet themed videos (not location videos), a project that I am assisting Jock Brandis with, another Maximum Overdrive video in June and there is more planned for the summer and fall. Thank you for subscribing😁. I would love to hear ideas and requests from subscribers.
@@allthings80swithgarrett42 Your very welcome, Let me think on those requests Ive seen a lot of movie and Ive virtually been too a lot of locations. Ill def be watching those future videos you mentioned.
I have wAtched your silver bullet content over and over. I just keep imaging the day I get to walk these grounds with my own two feet. Hopefully I’ll get to get a great tour guide to join! Just great stuff my brother! Love that you had a peacemaker bat with you ha ha ha!!!
Thank you Louis!! I appreciate it brother. It is surreal sometimes when you are on location, just knowing that Corey or Gary had stood where I was standing. I hope you make it down soon and I will gladly give you a tour. I never get tired of revisiting these locations. I just got through filming for The Black Phone locations and two locations from Silver Bullet are mentioned and two from Maximum Overdrive are actually seen. So the King-verse is alive and well😁. And I will bring the Peacemaker with me😉
Re: covered bridge - I’ve never seen one in the region around Wilmington here, was under the impression they were found in areas which experienced winter weather. Thanks for the video!
Wow amazing job! I liked how u added in pictures into the footage you filmed. I always wanted to check this out! I'd like to visit NC filming locations maximum overdrive, cabin fever, I know what you did last summer, conjuring. Great job 👍
Thank you Alan! Always trying to find good ways to get the "then and now" and do it with some creativity! ;) I may do a few of those that you mentioned. Just keep looking. We are just getting started!!
We're going down to Burgaw tomorrow to watch this with the Myers House On Location films. We've got the entire film location mapped out, and your video was a HUGE leap towards filling in some gaps! We did MO a few years ago, and so this is our second 'big' location tour. Starting in Leland, working our way back up to Burgaw for the movie which starts at 7:15 at 114 W Fremont St
Kenny does a great job. You will love that experience. I am glad I could help fill in the gaps. I have loved doing these videos. Let me know what your favorite location to visit is after you do your trip🐺
Hey Garrett thank youuuuuu sooooo much you are so amazing thank you for this, for me it's like a dream come true, Keep going Garret you are doing a great things for us silver bullet fan, A M A Z I N G
Thank you Ayari!!! You're putting the pressure on me ;) but glad you are enjoying the Silver Bullet content. I had my own copy of this recorded on VHS when I was about 14. Corey Haim and I are only 8 months apart in age, so my affinity for this movie is strong! There are some other great videos out there but I just wanted to give it the full treatment!
Another video is coming! We have some new information on the Gazebo, I have more info on Owen's Bar and a HUGE update on Marty's house. Hopefully out in time for Halloween 🎃
Crazy that they cut ALL of those trees down between your filming here about a year ago and me going the other day. I went to Old Maple Hill Drive and all the trees are gone
Interesting investigations for Silver bullets fans (including for a french cinematic music composer as i am). I didn't find your research about Marty pretty house very present in the movie, specially the end. Any videos/pictures about that ?
Thanks for commenting Elvin. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot to tell at this moment. I have researched the house from all the different angles. The land changed ownership several times from the late 80s until the the mid 90s. I don't know when the house left the property, but it happened during that time. There is a rumor that it was moved to the Scott's Hill area during this time. Records were not kept back at that time for house transportation. Hopefully someone will watch these videos and read the comments that have information on this and comment too. But I can tell you that the search isn't over. I have a couple of friends who are in Wilmington and are still looking for the house, but also figuring out other things from the movie. We will have a video in April about the Gazebo and where it was located during the movie.

Обожаю этот фильм с самого детства. Кори Хайм был одним из любимых актеров 80х. Жаль что он так рано ушел.
Great video. Silver Bullet is an all-time favourite.

I watched this movie a lot growing up
I really enjoy the story
Stephen King has inspired me to write my own werewolf novel.

Since it's supposed to be Maine, it makes sense why they made it look that way.
Thanks for watching 😁
