Ok, I used to live in a very liberal town. And in the winter there was one day in the week no one let the homeless have a place, it was just a Saturday night no churches or shelters were open and no free food was available. But, I'm Christian, and my now husband is too. So we used the kitchen in the back of his business to make goulash and took it to the park on Saturday nights and fed the homeless, shared Christ and prayed for them, and when all the food was gone I took 1-6 ladies back to stay in my one bedroom apartment and get them showers and breakfast in the morning. And my now husband took about ten or so men back to his place to do the same for them. We got asked to stop by our church of all places. But we kept going until a shelter filled in the gap in February. Btw we now live in Africa, and several of those people are no longer homeless and help each other out to this day.
You can believe it because it's a Democrat mentality Like bringing in 20 million illegals from around the world And paying for them to live here It's not different it's all b*******
The cleansing 😂 I really believed it worked years ago, little did I know how much demons I was inviting in with doing just that. Only the blood of Jesus cleanses! ❤ God bless!
I actually had to explain how dangerous this is to do to 1 of my clients at work-she is 20 years old now, but was 19 then, and lives right on the edge of a bad area and an up and coming one. She literally heard a couple fighting over drugs and whej the woman drove off, she went downstairs in her building and let HIM stay the night on her couch!!! I said even with my then boyfriend and my own weapon in the house, I wouod never do that!! Its a nice idea, but your safety should ALWAYS be your primary concern!!!
Yeah, it's fine to let people live in your house. Just be aware of the laws in your state/city. Once you let them stay, they don't have to leave if it doesn't work out. If they won't leave on their own, then you'll have to go through an eviction process. That can cost a lot of money and take a year or more. I know someone who took in a homeless family. It didn't work out. They were slobs and brought illegal drugs/booze,smoked cigarettes in her house. She went through the eviction process through the courts. No judge is gonna throw kids out on the street. The judge said they didn't have to leave because it would make the kids homeless. This was a friend of my grandmother's,70yo neighbor. She finally ended up selling her house in order to get rid of them. All together, letting that family live with her,for what was supposed to be just temporarily. It cost her around $20k and sell her home, which she wasn't planning on doing. It might feel good to help people who are down on their luck. But it might end up causing you a lot of stress, money, and some of your sanity on the flip side.
I lost my townhome trying to help someone out. They didn’t care that I was the one who ended up having to break my own lease as a single parent and had to scramble to find someone else to live. They were trying to call my bluff and hoping I would just stay there while they freeloaded off me. Hard lesson learned.
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ I think the short is actually a parody/fake, but taking in homeless people isn't always as bad as it seems. Sure, it's an inconvenience, but you never know who's struggling. Shit, anything can happen. I'm not saying pick up the random guy on the street, but I was homeless when I was sixteen, and my friends helped me. And I'm forever grateful for that.
I used to clean houses and one client didn’t bother to tell me they'd often let a homeless guy sleep on their front patio furniture. You can imagine my anxiety when I saw a shirtless man outside on the porch as I was cleaning by myself and listening to a true crime podcast. 😅 This was in downtown Boulder CO.
I have a bipolar friend who did this during her mania phase and let a homeless man into her apartment. 3 days of it and she realized it was a big mistake when of course he refused to leave and told her it was his apartment and she could go. She also was trying to find him a job which he also refused. (That doesn’t represent all homeless folks) Eventually she managed to trick him into the hallway and locked him out. She hasn’t tried that again. I was really scared for her that he might do something to retaliate but it’s been all quiet. Thank goodness.
She needs to correct herself... She has A PERSON living in her back yard. And that whole green powder nonsense... a true Shaolin Monk wouldn't allow that.
No..there is a better way to help. This is not it. Idk who these people are but they are most likely taking advantage of this girl. She doesn’t know these people or what their intentions could be…
I tried this for over 3 yrs. They stunk and stole all my retirement funds. I now live in a pop up and depend on strangers to move me from site to site. Bad idea. If you have an inexhaustible amount of funds, there are about 2 in 100 that are worth your energy. Please...if i had the money I once had...i would start an animal refuge. Should have done it on day one. Im out of money now and hopefully I will not die on the streets. Construction experience. 40 yrs.
No but at the same time if this is true at least she is willing to walk the walk unlike most who just want to let them into the country but not into their home.
*_That is absolutely ridiculous & kinda offensive. H3LL no, I wouldn’t! Also, to have ppl living outside ur dwelling in exchange for their labor & to tolerate ur crazy?! Sounds sketchy. If she’s having them stay to make an actual difference & not content- give them tools & a deadline so that they can figure something out to be better._* 😳
It's satire. She also has one about the monk being a guard on her property and why she doesn't need a man to protect her with all these extra rooms with mannequins in beds as distractions and laser beam security system that triggers a knockout gas.
I used to let homeless folks live with me, it was actually really nice. Be a good neighbor! Even if your neighbors are unhoused. Obvs this is satire. I helped a couple ppl get off the streets.
Charge them some rent. With all those roomates rent would be cheap. They can claim home is theirs after 7 years and you couldnt get rid of them. They will have to find a place eventually.
Some are called and able to that. It's ot for anyone. Many Conservative Christians have been doing this type of charity. It's not new. They just don't boast about it
My mom and I are conservatives but we brought a homeless man with schizophrenia home to live with us. He’s been with us for almost 6 years now and we’re getting married.
This reminds me of a news segment a YT channel covered that showed a liberal couple let an illegal immigrant live in their home for “free” but they had her doing all the cooking & cleaning & they’re like “it’s like having our own personal chef & maid” & it immediately cut to a scene from Rick & Morty of Morty saying “this sounds like slavery but with extra steps” 😂💀 which it absolutely did
It has to be satire because the water in a hot tub doesn't drain away and peeing and pooping in a outside your house? Your neighbors wouldn't allow that. At that point you would just let them use you home bathroom.

It's not a good sign when we can't tell the difference from satire and the real thing. I pray this is satire.

It is... She is a well known rage baiter.
Why??? Because heaven forbid we should be kind to people less fortunate? So you even hear how disgusting you sound??
Oh I've seen this girl's shorts 😂 I'm almost completely positive it's parody
Do you happen to know the name of her channel or any keywords with which to find it? Thanks in advance!

That is so awesome! ❤
Okay so this is one of the things that we are called to do as followers of Christ. Beautiful ❤
This is what we’re meant to do for each other!🥹💕😭✨🙏🏼

I really hope it is

I tjink that's cool. If she makes it into a non profit, los Angeles will pay her $450k a year per homeless (thats how much we spend).

My sister let a homeless person stay at her place for one night. When she woke up the homeless person was gone and so was her car 👀
Simple answer . No. Like bon chickens they'll keep coming. It's good to be charitable but that begins at home with family first
Adverse possession of property laws, no.
