I cannot express how much i love your vids. The quality and crafts man ship is on another level. I'm hoping to get a quad next year and your channel was what lead me to the amazing machines that you and every sport quad own are hoping to bring back. Keep up the good work!
Excellent video Pete! The transitions were money between all the view points. Thank you for the shout out, and ESPECIALLY the trip down memory lane🤣 now I’m flipping Honda’s. 🤘🏻😁
Love that rear camera bar view on the Renegade! Results is a figured! I know the Raptor had to be the winner now! I can imagine if you still had stock gearing, it would be more violent thru the gears like Mike was anticipating, but that higher gearing smooths it on out and causes you to pull away and stay away! Lol Awesome racing! That CanAm xxc is definitely like the best of both worlds! Haha! Ole buddy at the end is definitely a rider! Lol Staying tuned in!!💯✅💪
Glad you have it built and still have fenders. My dad got a banshee so he gave my brother his STOCK raptor and the first thing he did was cut the fenders and then roll it.
On the dyno it went 75ish in 4th gear. I’m pretty sure the new top speed would be a little over 90 mph theoretically. The front end would need to be aligned if you wanted to go that fast. It takes big power to go high speeds that’s for sure
well when you were doing a race back pete was in im pretty sure 4th gear doing 77 so he can definitely pull of 90mph but it would need a long stretch of road
A quadzilla does late 80s stock will be great race for both but any 250 2 stroke or 250 4 stroke can compete with zila, raptor 700r and renegade even a xr 400 or klx300 would be fine cus the bikes are much lighter but you have lil bikes also that would be right there with any big bore atv like ktm 150sx ,wr 200 and even if a raptor 700r , renegade 1000 or quadzilla 500 was modded out I don’t think they still can touch a 250 dirt bike if it was modded too and any stock 450 will wipe floor with any big bore atv no matter the mods the best thing to compete with a bike is a Banchee you can make them with over 100h.p and get them to 140 but will take a lot money time fixing . Most Banchee with mods is like 75hp and most of them doing 100-110 a bike can be 5mph slower top end but sence it’s so lighter than atv it will make up especially short races 300ft less
Make sure to go to ocotillo wells while down here. Great destination rides if you have the right leader. Gas domes, basketball hoop, pumpkin patch, shell reef, blow sand, and so many more are great places to go. Just don’t get too close to the salmon sea or else you’ll sink in quick sand!!!
Man that renegade sounds good. If the reverse light is on when your in gear most likely they accidentally got wires hooked up wrong. Thats a easy fix. Great video pete👍
I've bought tires from Blake at DBC racing before. He could potentially source you a set. It kinda depends on the brand and style you want but I would hit him up and see whats available! 👍
We went to Glamis and Buttercup. We didn’t do a subscriber meet up because it was a bit of a recon trip for us and due to covid unfortunately. We learned a ton and we will be back next year for sure! We will do a big meet up next time 🤘😬
If everything was at retail pricing the Raptor has more money into it than the Renegade does. My Raptor has roughly 15 more hp than a stock Raptor and the Renegade still hangs with it. I’m super excited to see some new upgrades on the Renegade!
Thank you! I appreciate your concern with the road riding. The pavement is a great place to see the machines on a comparison stand point. Out in rural MN it’s pretty quiet so we double check for vehicles and make sure we stay out of everyone’s way. We can legally ride on these roads with ag permits
We put the big 3 on the machine already. I have some other upgrades planned for the off-season in the coming months. There’s always sneak previews of content on Instagram 👍
Was curious as to what exhaust the renegade has exactly?... And love your stuff pete I will have a raptor sometime soon. I'm thinking I'll start off with a 660 to get a cheaper price range and work it as a project from there...
Let me start off by saying awesome video. Pete your ride is so sweet, love the color scheme and definitely the power. Got a question for ya Pete. I'm going to be purchasing a set of new tires for my 2017 Raptor 700 SE and I've been looking at a set of GBC XC Masters but I'd like to know what your suggestion is. I found a set of TG EOS with the same ply rating and tread pattern just at least $75 cheaper. So I was thinking about going with the TG EOS's. What's your opinion or what do you suggest? I value your opinion/knowledge of sport quads. Live Fast, Ride Smooth & Save the Sport Quads 🤙🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the compliments! I’m glad you liked the video! The GBC XC masters have been very durable thus far. There’s still quite a bit of tread left but I do plan on trying new tires in the spring and finally replacing my fronts as well. I’ve never seen any feedback on those EOS tires but they definitely look like an XC master knock off which is a knock off of Maxxis Razr2 lol. Since they’re on the cheaper side you could try them and if they don’t workout your not out a ton of money. The XC masters are very popular so spending that extra few bucks may be a little safer decision. I’m undecided on my next tires thus far. I was considering the ITP GNCC tires since I’ve always wanted to try a set 🤔 hope I helped with your decision! 👍
Pete love the videos next spring when it gets warmer we’ll have to go ride together I live in lake crystal I Actuelly ride right by where your parents live
That would be super fun! I’m disappointed to say I didn’t do any ditch riding this fall.. next year I want to do some local rides for sure! We always do our first dirt rides of the season at Appleton and we’ll be sure to announce them in the spring. Keep an eye on social media and hopefully we can get a big group in April/May 👍👍

I love my Rossier exhaust. Monster makes a great system! I wanted something more unique at the time so that made me lean towards Rossier. Plus the owner, David, is awesome to work with! Customer service is his number one priority👌👍
Theoretically around 90+ mph but I wouldn’t push it to that far without fixing my alignment issue. It also may not even have enough power to hit those speeds. It takes big HP to go high speed, that’s why the Renegade is so strong on the top end with 90 HP compared to my 60 HP
It’s going to be awhile. I have some rides from this summer to share as well as footage from the Top Quad series. I want to take a break from dune content and change it up a bit. Keep an eye on the SQUARE1 Speed Channel. Ian rode with us everyday and will probably drop more trip content before I do 👍
1st gear. With the 15 tooth front sprocket you have launch super aggressively in 2nd or the machine will bog. I didn’t want to do it on the pavement because the front end wants to wheelie so hard. Plus with the new clutch the engagement is pretty snappy
I feel like I’d stall out on every launch lol I love the sound of that exhaust tho, do you happen to know if that would fit the 07 GYTR raptor? Awesome video!
I love how the Rossier sounds, We actually have 2 Rossier full systems in stock for 06-14 models years ready to ship. Email petehagermedia@gmail.com if your interested, we could have you one by the end of the week 😊🤘
I completely agree.Rid my neighbors 18 or 19 700R and i stalled it like 3 times before i got it rollin because the clutch just feels so weird compared too my 09 KX250F.Kinda crazy how many times i stalled it though even though ive rid quads for well over 10 years.
Hi Pete I sent you a fb message but I know your probably super busy. Im wondering which would be better to ride for a bad back, the renegade or the raptor? Also willing to put money into suspension upgrades if I were to get either machine. Thanks Kyle
Hey Kyle, sorry I missed your message! YT or my Website is the best way to contact me. I think both machines are pretty comfortable. Honestly they’re so different you kinda have to pick based upon your needs. One’s a pure sport and ones a sport utility. The Renegade is very easy to drive but it weighs significantly more than the raptor and definitely isn’t as easy to ride in a “sporty” manner. The renegade also has power steering, 4 wheel drive, IRS and an automatic transmission whereas the Raptor is the opposite. If you want to power slide and run the gears your gonna have more fun on the Raptor 👍
@@PeteHager Hey Pete thanks alot for the quick and informative reply! I will check out your website, love all the content! Keep it up man, you've got a great channel.

Very possible! The big ding in my rim is from smoking a rock at gypsum city last winter with low tire pressure. The quad desperately needs new wheels and tires. That’s on the list for next season 👍
Not to sound bias but the Rossier has a great reputation for big power specifically on the YFZ450R. We put a Rossier full system on mine. If I didn’t run Rossier I would run Dasa or RP most likely. Monster and Empire make good systems as well. It really comes down to what you want, all the pipes have their own quirks and power curve characteristics.
