@@joeblow26 Night vision?!?!? Patrol units dont carry night vision capabilities. Thats usually a high expense piece of equipment that only tactical units (SWAT) have. Its very typical to set up a strong perimeter, hold the area and call in SWAT and K9 teams to go in with or without support from helicopters and/or drones. This is especially true with a suspect in a woodline and at night time. Speaking from real experience working for two police departments. Been in these situations first hand.
Officers were able to safely remove several people from the home and arrested five people for suspicion of harboring a fugitive, according to the Department of Justice. They deployed gas into the residence and gave commands for Miller to exit, but he refused. On the afternoon of July 26, officers entered the home and found Miller dead with a firearm near his body, according to the Department of Justice. Officers never shot at Miller in the home.
I found this video so intense and riveting. I live in a rural area in Northern Maine, so we're pretty much immune to this type of scene. I couldn't believe how quiet all the officers were and fixed on their individual tasks from the one giving orders to them. Highest respect for these and all officers out there who put their lives on the line to protect us.
See this is a perfect example of a department that needs better training for the sake of their lives and the community they protect. Don’t be like Uvalde and end up underprepared. These guys couldn’t even figure out how to get their trunk open for their rifle. Please get better training
This is a very rural area in WISCONSIN - a state that has repeatedly advocated for reducing funds to police. You're expecting a drone w/ infrared cameras here?
its all about funding really im sure even cops themselves have some great engineering ideas but if it cant become a standardized thing in their departments itll probably never happen unfortunately
And it's not just the equipment. An officer needs to be an FAA licensed remote pilot, and that costs money and time as well. And if you want 24-hou coverage, that's three officers that need licensing.
This Deputy tried to stop this vehicle after another agency tried to stop him for DUI and he ran. If I worked at an agency that called off the pursuit of a suspected intoxicated driver, I would quit on the spot. That’s a crappy agency.
I've seen this happen before and I think it's from all the lawsuits from families of the criminal for cops actually pursuing them. I recently saw a video where the female suspect deliberately drove into a residential area so the cops would have to stop the pursuit. She said she couldn't be arrested because they were in a residential area. 🙄 I'm sure the prosecution and judge cut her loose with probation anyway. 😒
@@jazminesanchez7449 Because this is a free world where we can all have opinions. This person is just sharing what they have heard. No need to get up in arms (lol) about it

One reason I no longer use a Glock. This was only a few miles from my rural property. We have been having a problem lately with drugs and coming onto private property trying to steal.. and they are armed many times. Reason I know, is around the beginning of July, we had a situation here on my property I was involved in. Things are changing for the worse even out here in rural Wisconsin because of the fentanyl coming across the border. And here we will back up the Sheriff if needed, no questions asked.

So.. whats the reason now for your decision to dump your Glock?
That why you need to complete building the Wall.... Your country... clueless Joe.... Is wasting money ons useless wars.... Should have use that money to complete the wall and do whatever later..... Kamala will be more worst than Joe....
@@rollinupeverest5042 Yea I was kinda confused by that too.. I figured with my post people would realize the jam as we see in this video is exactly what I was talking about. In most cases for us, stove pipe was the usual but we had one that hard jammed exactly as it did in this video to the point it had to be sent in for repair.
A lot of times it's stress induced malfunctions. Due to the mass use of short recoil operated handguns and the fact that officers may need to suddenly employ them in scenarios where they fail to achieve a full firing grip on the gun causing it to fail to extract. This malfunction looks like a double feed. Couldn't tell because of the light but it looks like his slide is stuck shut. He tried to drop the new mag and work the slide and it was still frozen.
@@cowboyx9380 actually we've seen plenty of M&Ps fail when limp wristed on this channel too. Technically, any short recoil handgun can fail with limp wristing, but I agree that Glocks seem to fail the easiest from that
Cops.... STOP SHOOTING THROUGH YOUR WONDSHIELD ! Officer for 10 years here. Our dept quals us ever quarter. And they frequently have us shoot through junk car windshields, to show us just how inaccurate the shots are!
I was about to comment the same thing, not only do the bullets get weird trajectories doing that but you're just wasting ammo since the suspect was long gone and he was just blindly firing through his windshield....
Yeah that’s what I figured. Suppressive fire so he could exit the vehicle and get to better cover. I wouldn’t know either way, that’s just how I made sense of it.
@@HunterTN There are lots of 70 and 80 years olds with tats right now... why will it be weird in the future? Also, to another commenter, what do tattoos have to do with the standards of being an officer? I have zero tats, but I don't see them and have preconceived notions... I mean, unless I knew they were gang/prison tats or N*z* ones.
Sirens should automatically turn off when the vehicle is put in park. Or a pressure switch on the driver's seat. That would be one less thing for them to think about when seconds matter.
Cops sidearm is jammed, how many of these cops are range training on the regular, and cleaning their weapons regularly even though they aren't discharging them? Not many.
Modern handguns can take thousands of rounds without cleaning and run fine. The jams we are seeing on this channel are operator error again and again. Limp wristing, single hand shooting, overgripping that interferes with the slide travel, etc. These cops are jamming themselves up.
@@FrantiagoProductions Gun jammed (means weapons are not being cleaned, means weapons are not being inspected) can't find keys for weapons in trunk, uncertain where weapons are in the trunk. It's all being done under fire but the reason for regular cleaning of weapons and inspections is to make sure that if under fire then you can actually get the tools you need. It's not merely these officers' fault it's also their commanders (for failing to perform inspections). Yeah, it's a pain in the ass to make sure munitions are secured and all weapons are unloaded so there are no accidents when cleaning them. But that risk can be controlled unlike the risk of your gun jamming. I suspect they were also wondering whether their rifles were loaded (which they likely were) and whether they were chambered (which they ought not be).
Heart stops when I hear, "I'm hit." What's the deal with Glocks ? Keep seeing cop Glocks jam. It's the strangest thing. And we need to figure out a faster way for an officer to access a secondary weapon. Specially his rifle. This going to the back of the car, getting your keys out, rummaging through to find the gun bag, open the goddamn gun bag to finally pull out the rifle is stupid.
Also officers don't test their hollow points they shoot 200 rounds a year for qualification but never bother testing their hollow points which can feed more unreliably than fmj and since they never test them they don't actually know if they feed well in their guns
Been noticing that as well. I don’t believe it’s a firearm issue. Seems to be either grip or even more concerning ammo. I worry they may be going for the lowest bid. Perhaps even reloads?
Parts of Sauk County are a bit liberal, but nowhere near as ultra leftist like Dane County. The same could be said of Eau Claire and Wausau. La Crosse is a shithole.
I would think getting out of his vehicle at that close of range would leave you far more exposed than staying inside with the engine block in front of you.
A hasty/improper grip on the gun is my guess. Steel-framed pistols are a little more resistant to limp-wristing because they have more mass. Still prefer the Glocks tho.
If you limp wrist a pistol while firing, you can easily cause it to jam. Your grip on the lower part of the frame is what allows the physics of the slide on top to recoil backwards properly. Many times when officers are firing under high stress, their grip is all over the place, hence why the gun that normally works perfectly fine can be prone to malfunction.
@@roc5291 yeah but even after dropping the mag, racking twice, then tapping and racking again several times more it didn't clear. I'm no expert but I would assume that a limp wrist malfunction would be cleared simply by racking it all the way, no?
13:18. “Can she be left alone or no?” Noooooooooooooooooooo! She’s tea cupping that firearm with her left hand, leaving her fingers maybe an inch from the barrel tip. Oh well.
To be fair their main job is Conservation Wardens and whilst that jurisdiction for that area obviously comes under the PD so they get all the same kit I would hazard 99% of their normal duties are so far away from dealing with serious crime and violence they probably do no more than the minimum requirement for firearms proficiency as they doubt it'll ever be relevant
@@contactacb To be fair-er, if you carry a gun you should train with it and know how to use it. Her index finger is literally on the slide - terrible position.
The second deputy was a real jerk and didn't even try to help the first one. This is the second video in a row on police activity where the other deputies are not helping their fellow officers. Disgraceful
What are you talking about? The previous video is a single officer making tasing someone. I guess you're technically right no one helped him but no one else was there.
Watching videos from this channel, one thing I often see is the need to clear a malfunction in the middle of the incident. Great reminder to incorporate those types of drills into your practice.
"Miller refused to exit the home and after a standoff, he was found deceased inside of a residence." Must have been a snakebite, or maybe a heart attack, or maybe it was an aneurysm, the world may never now!
I like how that 2nd unit pulled up and did absolutely nothing to help his homie. Just sat in his car and pet his dog while dude was returning fire 😭 some cops are just useless and worthless
@@JulianUccetta Weve been using them for 8 years now, and they, the newer models, are superior to axon cams in every way. But, because they are so damn durable there are a lot of old watchguard models still in use, and those had some issues.
So the road was closed off in both directions. They shut sirens off... why not shut lights off also. Dude was sitting in a dark forest and the cops were lighting themselves up like a christmas tree
It is difficult to communicate well with all the car sirens are running at close proximity. Blinkers are to alert and prevent the public from entering the scene unknowingly.
I'm confused. He put it in reverse then fired through his window. Rounds going through windshields are very inaccurate. Why didn't he return fire immediately instead of 40+ yards away? Then the second unit just sat there. Why not come up to assist? I wonder if that's their department policy. If so, that needs to change. This could have been much worse since the suspect had the drop on him.
Hornady critical defense buddy. Go online and look at their testing. They won the fbi contract AGAIN because their rounds are barrior blind. Glass, aluminum, wood, steel do not deflect that round. It's what I carry for a reason.
They don't do it on purpose... If it's that bad change the video you watch. When I was a kid I didn't watch General Hospital and then bitĆh about it. I watched Gilligan's Island.
My above message is not directed at you so much as everyone who bitches about what they just watched. There are literally more than thousands of videos to watch now and yet so many people bitch about the one they don't like. Change the channel.
i have been watching a lot of these chases and that being said god bless our men and women that wear that uniform thank you for all you do god blessyou
I hope you’re kidding. He didn’t even engage the suspect when he showed up, or even attempt to or immediately check on the other officer, or even draw his weapon. He just cowered behind his vehicle and barked orders at everyone else. He was useless.
@@3tvet And let's not forget to mention that Deputy Tate did not bother to release his dog either, to chase down the perp (as he bolted for the woods on the other side of the road).
Piss poor officer in CCW class you're taught to not fire if unsure of what's beyond your vision kids in vehicle stated seen movement yep kids were in there
4 year Deputy/Firearms instructor... while mistakes were made, give the initial officer a break, he got shot, gun jammed and 2nd officer didn't really do anything. He stayed in the fight. After they had multiple officers, in my unprofessional opinion they couldve cleared the car. I carry an M&P and shield performance as a backup and my department has shields, rifles, and helmets mandatory. To anyone interested in law enforcement, do a ride along and check out the gear...are they issued handguns or can you choose? Do you have a waiting period until you get a rifle? What's the gear like? Outer vest? Do they have a tac team? Helicopter? F22? These are all important in your decision making.
Everyone, please read 2 Timothy 3:1-5. This is why our LEOs are having such a difficult time and why the world has gone crazy. Keep safe out there people.
I’m the biggest Glock fanboy there is. However, I make no bones about them being mechanical devices in need of routine maintenance like anything else. I’m a GLOCK Certified Armorer, and offer my deep cleaning/parts inspection services for free to any State or local law enforcement officer in my State. Of all of the LEOs within my county, only one officer has taken me up on this offer. His gun was completely loaded with debris to the point where I was surprised it functioned at all. I think this Officer’s duty gun is probably representative of most LEO’s duty guns, generally: carried a lot, rarely fired or maintained. Also, the Smith & Wesson M&P series isn’t a viable alternative to Glock. I sold eight M&P9s to my local police department: of the 8 I ordered, two were defective. Of the two replacements, one was defective. I absolutely couldn’t believe it. I did 5 minutes worth of research into Smith & Wesson’s quality control, and it sounds like my experience is very typical of a lot of dealers nowadays. The down turn in S&W’s QC seems to have taken a sharp down turn when they moved into a new manufacturing facility in the last couple years. That being said, I’ve transacted God knows how many Glocks (both new and used) over the years, and has yet to experience a single manufacturer defect with any of them. The only Glocks I’ve ever had to replace parts in, are the ones where people replace the factory parts with a whole bunch of aftermarket parts.
I wish you worked in GA. Thank you for your service in doing that. I used to work for an agency that had a command or two by the beach. There used to be stories of the salt in the air causing HORRIBLE RUST and parts binding together and locking up. I remember hearing stories of 6 loaders CLAMPED SHUT to where they couldn't use their speed loaders. All because they never cleaned and inspected their guns. Crazy!
Once again, due to lack of maintenance, another weapon that jams? How long are they going to continue using these pistols without maintenance? I see too many videos on this channel with the same faults in police pistols.
@@davelowets It seems you are absolutely right, I have seen all the videos on this channel, and I am tired of seeing those weapons jam at the worst moments of an officer.

Highest respect for these and all officers out there who put their lives on the line to protect us.

its all about funding really
im sure even cops themselves have some great engineering ideas but if it cant become a standardized thing in their departments itll probably never happen unfortunately
They want to give the criminals a fighting chance.
And it's not just the equipment. An officer needs to be an FAA licensed remote pilot, and that costs money and time as well.
And if you want 24-hou coverage, that's three officers that need licensing.

@@rollinupeverest5042 Yea I was kinda confused by that too.. I figured with my post people would realize the jam as we see in this video is exactly what I was talking about. In most cases for us, stove pipe was the usual but we had one that hard jammed exactly as it did in this video to the point it had to be sent in for repair.
Why are police pistols so unreliable
A lot of times it's stress induced malfunctions. Due to the mass use of short recoil operated handguns and the fact that officers may need to suddenly employ them in scenarios where they fail to achieve a full firing grip on the gun causing it to fail to extract.
This malfunction looks like a double feed. Couldn't tell because of the light but it looks like his slide is stuck shut. He tried to drop the new mag and work the slide and it was still frozen.
Just glocks that are limp wristed when firing, hence why Glocks are now the #4 most carried pistols by police.
Because they get stressed and limp wrist their pistol they've not trained with nor broken in if applicable.
He probably limpwristed it firing through the windshield
@@cowboyx9380 actually we've seen plenty of M&Ps fail when limp wristed on this channel too. Technically, any short recoil handgun can fail with limp wristing, but I agree that Glocks seem to fail the easiest from that

It was just cover fire
wouldnt want to breath in that glass either
Suppressive fire... Most folks won't take time to aim if they're getting shot at.
Yeah that’s what I figured. Suppressive fire so he could exit the vehicle and get to better cover. I wouldn’t know either way, that’s just how I made sense of it.
my first impression was how long it took for the officer to get his rifle out of the back of his squad car, my goodness
It was like his adrenaline wouldn't let him think through the task!
The tattoos are becoming the Live Laugh Love of law enforcement.

Could they be range shooting an ammo that works, but carrying one that has issues?
@@brendancarlson1678 Could be but its usually a result of rushed response due to stress. Naturally occurring in any human

UNDER FIRE
They probably aren't getting shot at constantly like those in Chicago
Wow, you must be great at policing. Can I know what department you work at? You should join this one to train them with your amazing skills.
Stay ready every day everyone.
that thumbnail is something out of a sci fi film
Heart stops when I hear, "I'm hit." What's the deal with Glocks ? Keep seeing cop Glocks jam. It's the strangest thing. And we need to figure out a faster way for an officer to access a secondary weapon. Specially his rifle. This going to the back of the car, getting your keys out, rummaging through to find the gun bag, open the goddamn gun bag to finally pull out the rifle is stupid.
The Glock jams when it is not held correctly. You have to have a firm grip, wristed locked or it will jam.
@@beverlywalker6494 there are other guns out there you dont need to hold stiff as a board to work correctly
At least in Northern New York when I was young officers' vehicles sometimes had a shotgun mount between the drivers and passengers front seats.
Perhaps even reloads?

waiting for back-up is my guess which was right there.
What’s up with the Glock jamming? Seen a couple of videos where they malfunctioned.

Crazy!
Why is cop firing through his own windshield. American cop logic. 😂
