There is no random encounter when i go there. I have bin through the area before and I am lvl 13 atm. Does that stop the random encounter from happening?
It can. Random encounters are finicky. Sometimes they will respawn, sometimes youll have the same encounter forever, sometimes you’ll have no encounter forever.
@@texugo_branco The first time it will be fine, but once the encounter loads, it may stay stuck on that encounter forever, or it may just be empty the next time you come. Usually it will load a new random encounter when you come back, but not always.
Ok yes it dose work with the stealth on but the other viewers are right! The Suits parts show owned. Witch makes you a target. Yes this trick will work on Raiders an the Enclave as well!. This way you will get the full suit and its chassis.

the armor is still tagged as "steal" instead of "enter" ... some companions do not like you entering stolen armor, or removing pieces from the frame. With all my companions in Sanctuary I put my stolen Power armors in Red Rocket for safe keeping (when I don't wear them)
Does this mess up the quests with the Atom Cats? Will they still work with me and sell things or will I end up on their shoot on site list if I steal the armor
Is the power armor not essential for Duke? Just out of curiosity. If I meet him again will he permanently not have his Armor? Can this be done in any difficulty level? If I might have passed by in that area before, will this encounter no longer pop out?
Well I don’t know about the perma gone part it probably is unless it’s NEEDED for some parts. If you loaded that area before it doesn’t work. It might be possible on survival but any other difficulty it’s fine.

Fastest T-51 would be good. I don't like the T-60 or Advanced models. Repairing with just steel is so useful. Looks better too.

about an hour passes and no dude in atom cat t60 power armor lol. the chance must be real low. pretty sure i have gotten it before though

As long as he doesn’t catch you taking the armor, you wont have issues with the quest

It might still work, but the encounter may be fixed and never change. If thats the case, then it wont work.

That means you already triggered the event. It might not reset, or it might reset after a fee days

Not a huge deal. You can always sell and buy back the pieces later to unflag them
