    I'm happy you show what the interior looks like when all slides are closed. It is important to know this. It's great to know exactly what facilities, such as a seating area, refrigerator, bathroom, are available when either still going down the road in a MH. I would also suggest the same applies to both 5th wheels, and regular travel trailers. The reason I say towables is this. When a person who's towing, stops at a rest stop it's always good to know if they can grab a quick bite to eat, and sometimes even use the bathroom should the facilities not be up to snuff. I've been traveling and stopped at a rest stop on the interstate, and the building was closed for total renovation. They had a ton of port-a-potties available to use. I'd rather use my trailer, in that case.

      TY for the input. It's something we've been doing on our videos for a little over a year now on both motorized and towable RVs.

      We provide pricing on our home site for any RV we have in inventory. We happen to be sold out on this one and there have been updates since this footage was published that may affect pricing (which is why we don't include pricing in our videos -- it gets outdated quickly and causes the kind of confusion that can quickly lead to upset clients).
      Also, every state handles taxes differently, so a team member would need to know a bit about your location so we can fulfill the request. You can contact them at 800-256-5196 or sales@haylettrv.com

    Is the long "full wall" slide a problem, especially since due to the type of slide mechanism?

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  5 років тому

      Calling this one a full wall slide is something of a misnomer I suppose. While technically accurate it's no larger than a common super slide used like crazy throughout the industry. Should provide no higher level of challenge vs. a common super slide.

    How comfortable is the folding bed? Can you feel the seam??

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  5 років тому +1

      It's a question with a subjective answer. Some people think it's great. Some people hate it. I don't think you'll feel the seam since it's by your feet and not under your shoulders or on a pressure point.

    Looks like a nice unit, good storage and floorplan, how ever my thoughts are, TV location, I know we're talking 24 feet, but see me, that you would eliminate 2 people from wat hing TV. there qare also no windows in the in the upper bunk. I just like more natural light.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  6 років тому

      And that's why we carry different models. This one isn't made with full timing in mind first and foremost. It's a bounce around traveler's rig for folks who want to get there and explore rather than get there and set up house.
      Things like the upper bunk windows are a symptom of the price point. We can get you the overhead windows in this and other layouts, but it's a "get what you pay for" sort of thing.

    Hey Josh, I need some help I have a family of 8. My wife and I and 6 kids. I’m wondering if you can recommend some motor homes that would fit our needs. I’m looking at class a and c. I would prefer a class c but understand if that wouldn’t work with my size family. I really like the Jayco Greyhawk and precepts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  6 років тому

      I don't really see why a Class C wouldn't work where a Class A would. C models have come a long way and often offer nearly identical floor plans. For instance:
      Here's a sample Class C Greyhawk Bunk Model: www.jayco.com/images/pages/5431-31F.png
      It sleeps 2 in the master bed, 2 in the bunks, 2 on the sofa/dinette, and 2 on the over-cab.
      By contrast, here's a sample Class A Prepcept Bunk Model: www.jayco.com/images/pages/4955-36A.png
      It ALSO Sleeps 2 in the master bed, 2 in the bunks, 2 on the sofa/dinette, and 2 on the optional over-cab.
      Is there a potential factor here I've missed or overlooked beyond simple sleeping capacity? Perhaps another quality of a Class C that has disqualified it for you?

    • @jonmoratelli7326
      @jonmoratelli7326 6 років тому

      Thanks for the reply. I like that seats swivel in the class a but this class c in the video here has swivel seats so they are doing that now so that’s not really factor. I would think the class a has more room to move about during the day is that true?

    • @jonmoratelli7326
      @jonmoratelli7326 6 років тому

      Haylett RV yeah these two models I have been looking at and I do like them a lot. Do you know if they both have 8 seat belts?

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  6 років тому

      @@jonmoratelli7326 The swivel seats question is correct. The main benefit of a class A in this case will be that extra nudge of living space. Also, Jayco is one of the best about seatbelts. Watch our Greyhawk 29MV video and you'll hear me talk about the number of them they use. You can see it here: bit.ly/2QxoR1m
      Jayco actually uses more seatbelts than they would need. Your family would be fine.
