Your expose of Olumide Bakare is half the story told here. I expect a thorough investigation and questions asked. People like Akin Lewis who was also born in Kano knew him and has full gist of this fallen hero. For example, whatever happened to his roles at the Unibadan masques, where he partook in a lot of stage productions. For instance He was well known for his role as Baroka in Wole Shoyinka's "The Lion and the Jewell" which was later adapted for Television. Also, he was part of the pioneering cast weekly sitcom "Why Worry" the barber, starring Akin Lewis and himself at NTA, Ibadan even before "KOKO CLOSE" was conceived. It is only fair that we give honour to whom is due. Your documentary appears to sell Olumide short. I knew him very well and we were colleagues art NTA Ibadan. May his soul continue to rest in peace.

Thanks for your observations & contributions Sir. They are well noted. Permit me to Reiterate this, I have never said this program contains the full biography of any celebrity. Moreso, all can't be said within few minutes. I don't know Late Olumide Bakare from anywhere. If I may ask, those in the entertainment industry why can't they celebrate or do anything in his remembrance?? When they die that is the end. I think the little we are doing to bring back there memories to their fans should be commended.
If you are ready to fund the full documentary On him since you knew him well. I'm ready & it would be done.
      Thanks!!!!
