Yeah, the new Gonti ended up being really low to the ground to better enable his spell stealing, so I figured I would take this build in the opposite direction to take advantage of the big on combat damage creatures our colors have at its disposal.
@@Bivanqwthat’s not what he’s saying at all lol. It’s low to the ground with 1/1 rogues and unblockables. He didn’t want too do the same strat for Felix and did a bigger stompy esque build.
Great build! Excited for Obeka on a budget. I guess my next vote will have to be for Akul. Aristocrats and big bodies get me. If I were to make a suggestion for next commander poll option I'd love to see something around mounts/vehicles so Wylie Duke or even Annie Flash as commanders who benefit from being tapped
definitely love the deck by the way you missed "Tinybones, the Pickpocket" for off budget upgrades since his hits basically let you reanimate any nonland with its mana cost
While I would loved to have seen if you tried to include more than two boots artifacts into the deck, it probably is for the best that don't at the end of the day 😂
For me this is directly what I swapped Gonti for as Felix is just too good to pass up on and outside the equipments I think I have every card you mentioned here in spades making the Felix five boots build stupidly easy. My only complaint would be maybe adding a bit more evasion for more consistent combat triggers. For instance blossoming bogbeast may not be entirely on theme but it is a 3/3 for 4G but whenever it attacks it nets us a 2 life advantage and grants all of our attackers trample and a +X/+X boost where is the amount of life we gained that turn and at 2 life that's a minimal +2/+2 bonus so this is helpful as well as it makes it harder to kill us as our life totals increase. Goreclaw, terror of Qal sisma should be here as well as everything we have with power 4+ costs 2 less to cast and she gives every attacker we control with power 4+ whenever she attacks a +1/+1 and trample boost so this can also help. Siege behemoth can be considered at a pretty big 7/4 hexproof for 4GGG but makes it so that whenever it attacks we can ignore our blocking creatures and go straight for our opponents life totals but our creatures will still receive combat damage however. Surrak and Goreclaw gives all of our creatures what I'd like to call mega riot by giving both trample and haste to all of our creatures and has them ETB with an additional +1/+1 counter to boot and is a pretty nasty 6/5 trampler for 4GG which to me feels reasonable and throws a wrench also at more controlling strategies. Scion of calamity though it may not grant evasion it does have myriad thus making clones of itself for every opponent we face so it might as well have a form of evasion as the least protected of our opponents is helpless and it's also a 5/5 for 3GG but it's combat damage trigger is additional back row support as it'll destroy artifacts or enchantments whenever it deals combat damage to a player so it is definitely worth considering. If you want to go full on evasion but not get an additional combat bonus then keeper of keys is a must as its combat damage trigger is granting us monarch which unfortunately as I'm explaining doesn't trigger twice as it is not a double up ability like drawing cards or creating tokens but should we ever be the monarch none of our creatures can be blocked and it's a 4/4 for 3UU to boot which is reasonable. Vorosh the hunter is a must to some extent as it is a 6/6 flying for 3BGU and reads as follows whenever it deals combat damage to a player we may pay 2G if we do put six +1/+1 counters on it making it a 12/12 flyer on one connecting attack and with Felix and if we can afford the hefty 4GG we can put twelve of those counters instead giving us an 18/18 flyer after just one connecting attack. Fungal shambler could be considered as it is a 6/4 trampler for 4BGU but whenever it deals combat damage to a player we draw a card and that player discards a card and Felix doubles that over to two cards drawn and discarded per swing. Dimir cutpurse has the exact same combat damage trigger as the Fungal shambler I just mentioned has but instead of being a 6/4 trampler for 4BGU it is instead a more lowly costed and efficient 2/2 with no evasion for the small CMC of 1UB but as I said if Dimir cutpurse connects at all we draw a card and that playet discards a card and Felix doubles it over to two cards drawn and discarded. Larceny can be a terrifying enchantment to consider at 3BB because with this out whenever a creature we control deals combat damage to a player that player discards a card thus giving us resource denial to our opponents as they constantly discard cards and with Felix out one connecting attack from one creature means two cards discarded just imagine just two or more evasive attacks like that. The Gitrog, ravenous ride can be extremely useful at it is a 6/5 trample, haste, saddle 1 for only 3BG but also reads as follows whenever it deals combat damage to a player we can sacrifice a creature that saddled it if we do we draw X cards and we may put up to X lands from our hand onto the battlefield where X is the sacrificed creatures power and I did check with somebody so yes with Felix out we may sacrifice two mounts instead of just one to draw even more cards and put out even more lands to ramp out on. I think this is everything I can come up with and yes I play most to every card single I mentioned here and I would suggest them all. Who knew green could be such a nasty saboteur itself as green is the color of honesty I just find it really awesome.
I just came to the realisation that this deck should have 5 boots. swap out lightning greaves for lavaspur boots and also add winged boots, zephyr boots and trailblazer boots.
One really strong card I can recommend here is saryth the vipers fang as she gives all of our tapped creatures deathtouch and all of our untapped ones hexproof and can untap another creature or land for just 1 and tapping her effectively providing our commander with instant speed protection if necessary. Tell me this doesn't work here
Seems like a nice low powered build for a casual game. You always come up with some great stuff. I especially like the lore you give on the commander in the beginning of your videos. It’d be nice to see you utilizing more cards from the new set the commanders come in that synergize with the commander and fit with the lore.
Could you sound more condescending? "well I guess it's a cute build for a low power casual deck that doesn't care about winning" Are you out there playing infinite combos and fast mana?
Damn, Felix truly is one slimy bastard, huh... what with such a toxic deck you can barely even get a grasp of- *gets shot for the crime of awful punnery* That aside, amazing deck as always! And hey, Obeka won! Sweet! As for the vote... Eriette gets it. Essentially bribing creatures with powers too strong for them to handle? Sick idea, IMO. Day 977 of waiting for the face reveal. Again, hopefully the countdown isn't TOO annoying, since it's mostly an excuse to leave a comment and boost the algorythm anyway.

@@collinkendall1275 They would not. Toxic functions like Lifelink in that neither ability uses the stack, they just modify the end result of doing damage. This deck is a heavy-hitter version of what I did with Gonti. Similar thought process so I can slot in Felix as the cmdr to mix things up.
