- One fragrance which is very under rated, and finally i have it and am gonna talk about it, its a creation of Francis Kurkdjian who is one of the best perfumers and one of my most favorites. lets see what this fragrance is all about

I've been stumbling across your videos and they are informative 👌 great job. I sampled carven in Belk's (last year in December) but it didn't catch my nose. So I got a sample (think God I did). I decided to put it on the back on one of hands (6 months later) and man I tell you it's amazing. I was going to get Prada Amber Pour homme (because I had the intense) but I may just pick this up first.

Nice review! This is a favorite of Simply Put Scents as it was no 1 in his Top 10 Best SPRING FRAGRANCES for 2018. I've seen from other reviews that spraying on a paper doesn't do justice to this fragrance because it's more complex on the skin. It's not only mint and lemon/grapefruit but also it has noticeble notes of lavender and birch (some go as far as saying it has a modern minty barbershop vibe). I might get this one as I would like a mint fragrance and the other good priced options are Cartier Roadster and JPG Le Male Eau Fraiche...
I love the OG Carven Pour Homme !! It’s a more refined Tres Nuit to my nose or if Prada had a take on GIT. Looking forward to checking this out
Very well reviewed Joy. To me, it's a mix of Mr. Burberry Indigo (opening) and Legend Spirit (drydown). The mint-cardamom-birch leaf combo lasts forever on my skin and after a day or so, that recognizable Invictus molecule becomes obvious on clothing. A very sharp and weedy opening, but a nice smooth green lavender heart. Even in the snow, this stuff is beast. But you really have to like lemon and mint to appreciate it.

The opening is challenging, but the drydown is sublime. This is a spring/summer masterpiece that everyone should own.
the top notes of this thing is exactly the smell of Lychee. Personally too fruity for me. I don't like it. The drydown flowery smells exactly like an air freshener that my mom used to buy to put in the bathroom LMAO. To each their own i guess

@@TAIL313 it's very good but I prefer Colonia Club.
I agree about LEau Intense being similar to Polo Sport.
I don't like Aqua di Gio on me because I always think it smells a bit sweaty. (on me ;-)) But this is pure and sharp like a cold blade. I like Eau Sauvage which is more "sweet and rounded HQ lemon", while this is so clean, so clean that it fits someone from the medical staff, I always think.
Is there a 2020 release for this cologne, and is this any good.

Hello joy. I have a question . Can you keep bottles of fragrances past the use by date of 36 months on the box? Do they degrade after this time? I have always used my bottles before this time so I'm unsure on this. Thanks joy.
Fragrances can easily last years if stored properly. Keep them cool and away from sunlight and artificial light.
@@DeadDiznee yes. I keep my fragrance now in there original box in my night stand.
@@joelloyd2025 You should have no worries then. Some of my fragrances are from the 1980's and 90's and are still good.

I think the fragrance houses put the 36 months symbol on the box to scare you into using the fragrance quicker . I assume

BUT the only downside that it burns the skin from some reason like l'aventure al haramain so prefer spray it on clothes
