When I'm not sure exactly what it is I want, or if it is for me, I do a deep imagining around it. I sit, and imagine myself playing out exactly what it is that I want. Then, I recognize what FEELINGS I have around it. Am I feeling excited? Or desperate? Or...do I actually feel not as good as I thought I would be obtaining the thing I originally wanted? Our emotions are a fantastic guide to show you how you ACTUALLY feel around a want or desire. The emotion will give you a clue to if you truly want it, or if it's truly for you or not.
