If you fancy getting yourself some 3D printed mini for 10% off you can use the code in the description, thanks for watching!
Peachy’s extra unhinged in this one and it’s great.
I’ve always loved the Cadian 122nd Scheme. It’s the scheme I’ll be painting the new Kasrkins in.
Trying to find a good scheme for my IG don’t think these are it but its all part of the journey. Great techniques I could apply with any color I suppose
For anyone interested, the minis used in this video are available as 3d printing files from Papsikels, who sculpted them.
Perfect. I'm kitbashing two guards team for Kill Team (to experiment as Compendium, Full Teams, and Inquisition Mandate support) as I have a load of Bolt Action WW2 sprues. One is Krieg, black & brown & gasmask. I needed another paint job for my Karskin (who heretically double as Tempestus Scion). The blue/urban camo looks like a great contrast.
Lovely work as always and feeling inspired to do up a guardsmen kill team!
have some orks in the "Y" pattern, seemed good for Blood Axes, desert colours instead of urban but the same basic pattern, looks very nice on them. only on cloth, the hard bits just a desert yellow
I was digging out my Mordheim book last night and I had to pass the City Fight book to get to it. Had a flip through it and was reminded of how good the Cadian 122nd scheme looks. How funny to see it in the video today. Great job!
We've got more to come with a certain army box that's been released
I've always loved that scheme. The City Fight Codex remains one of my favorite codexes.
Awesome video! That painting phase freehand was next level! The camo was pretty good too 😅
Great patterns Peachy and lovely miniatures.
Trying the urban cammo for some old-ish Space Marine scouts I’m using in Stargrave.
I really like the last one, might use it for my mechs.
Thanks for the video.
I still have my original city fight book; I always liked that blue/black/white camo.
Prepare yourself, more city fight is on the way!
I'll stick with the first two as they look more defined. I'll test them out on my Cannon Fodder
I do love a good camo scheme, nice video, and some nice freehand emblems done on the figures as well. It's very well shown off by the awesome...not sure what you call it..fly threw with the camera thingy all very cool Peacy& Pat. 👍👌
Ok I just realized why I like your painting tutorials the best. The painter is left-handed and it looks “normal” to me. Finally.
Hahaha! Glad to be of service! We lefties need to stick together 😂👍
Will definitely be trying the grey Y camo on some scouts soon, thanks Peachy and Pat
Get to Da Choppa!
Great video to help any Colonial Marine blend into the battle field.
big fan of the music
Nuln Oil my beloved
Any thoughts on helping a camo scheme still stand out against a base? Obviously picking basing to cause your miniature to stand out sort of defeats the point of the camo from a narrative perspective. So is it intractable, or are there ways pick a basing that tells a story with the camo on the model without causing the model to get lost against the base?
Love these 3 variations, look like something I will have a go at in future when get some transatlantic spacenam figures
Nice! 😍👍
Nice job, but also the figures are very good, the urban camo on the not-Sara Connors is really outstanding!👍
Yeah they are very nice minis I must say.
if you're doing a lot of sponging (for camo or for battle damage for an army) it's worth buying some revers grip tweezers so you can have better control of the sponge and you don't have to be pinching onto them the whole time.
Now that, is a wonderful idea.
That violin music! Mini painting brought to you by Amadeus
City Fight was the shizzness 😎3" power fist punches seemed so broken ha
I remember that!
Love the cityfight scheme, not sure I'd be able to do it on an entire army though :D
Peachy did a great video about doing them in large numbers. See the channel.
It's nice seeing more personality than the reserved 'presenter' on GW videos.
Too kind!
This is rad
Thanks dude ❤️
Love the work chaps! Keep it up!!
Very helpful video thanks!
Oh no its night!
Ma man 👊
I don't see a real need for any other camouflage pattern than the urban one! ;) You could just have done a 10 minute video on that alone! xD
Get to da choppa!
Great tutorial, I am however gutted when preachy did his Schwarzenegger impression he never said "Get to the chopper"
It's in the bloopers at the end of the video, at 9:15.
Nice work.
Do some ork kommandos (the ols metal version)
Ooooo is there a chance to get some high-tech camo effects? Like camo cloaks and such? Were the model blends in part way with the base?
3:20 👍
Splodgey sausages
Love it!
I think my skill is better suited for pattern 3, but I think I'm gonna try pattern 1 for my kasrkin and shock troopers, and pattern 2 for my scions!
Hey, that’s why we gave you options, go for what’s more suited to your skill level then work up. And you can always repaint any happy accidents 👍👍👍
But kudos to you for looking to try all three.
Nice video!
Please hyperlink the affiliate link in the description. Pain in the ass to type it in myself because copy feature isn’t working
Sorry about that, done!
GET TO ZE CHOPPA!
how do you get the camera in that tiny pace tho?
Something called a probe lens, they're great fun
@@thepaintingphase what set up would you recomend?
😊
I've noticed a recurring problem in your regular videos and shorts is the lighting is too bright when displaying 'the final result'. In almost every video I've seen so far, the final reveal shot is always brighter and more exposed than the rest of the video and it doesn't do you any favours for showing off the completed job. Something to consider for future uploads.
Did Peach ever explain why he left GW the biggest company in the hobby to go do the same job for a UA-cam channel with 10 followers ?
Wow you really are special type of Bellend aren’t you? Looks like more than ten followers to me.
More fun here it looks like
@@prdalien0 fun doesn't pay the gas bill
Calm the music down a tad
