Your beautiful gardens, shown to us so elegantly with no music. My clematis 'Amber' shows no new growth; bad Winter. Such a glorious now, that last year's losses don't matter; even The Thug survives huge yellow tree peony, not loved by some because of its size. Superb video -Thank you Jon.
I would love to see a video, or several, highlighting the numerous "supporting cast" of your garden. Plants you have never featured, and perhaps they don't have showy flowers, but are interesting nonetheless, especially to gardeners in harsher climates than yours. For example, I've glimpsed a variegated Pittosporum in some of your videos, perhaps Marjorie Channon? You always have such interesting comments on the history and origin of your plants, I'm sure you have observations on these as well?
Yes I’ll think about how to go about it. There are too many distractions when I go round of plants in flower vying for attention, especially at the moment.
Hello John, You must feel a wonderful sense of achievement when you're walking around your garden knowing that you've created it from scratch. Did you plan the colour combinations or was it just luck? Bertie looked like he was admiring the plants!
Thanks Wendy. I am amazed that I have lived long enough to see my plantings maturing. Of course I planted my first tree when I was 29 yrs old. Lucky to plant then and live in the same place since then. I do try and coordinate the colour schemes with occasional serendipity especially with self sown seedlings, but on the whole, it is planned. Bertie doesn’t know how lucky he is living here!
What a gorgeous garden, this is 2nd time I watch this video, so enjoyed! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching! Glad you like it.
Nuostabus žydėjimas jūsų sode... Įsivaizduoju, kaip viskas kvepia🥰
Many thanks. Yes, the scents are lovely

Thank you Wendy. A wonderful time of year and we’re spoilt for choice here especially as it has been a superb flowering year.
