Honestly, one of my biggest problems with Disney's version is that Rachel Zegler is supposed to be "fairer" than Gal Gadot. The magic mirror is either blind or a liar.

The Daily wire film and television division is really growing fast. It's nice to see independent media coming up everywhere and succeeding during this politically motivated drought of decent entertainment.
I'd be curious to see what would happen if they expanded into gaming at some point.... It will definitely be unique one way or another.

I think Snow white doesn't need a big budget most of the story is based in a Forrest there's no big events or big battles that happen so I think it is a good choice for DW and it will probably still look good and sometimes a smaller budget makes a movie better because it forces them to be more creative and to not go crazy resulting in something that could become a big bloated mess

Snow White and the Huntsman is the only Snow White adaptation to ever have battle scenes that I know of.
The Daily wire may not be as big as Disney, but the Daily wire's take on Snow white can definitely be used by the people as a protest.
Do not confuse small budget with talent. Brett Cooper has the talent. Daily Wire is getting better in their productions by seeking talent over diversity hires. At 59, I can remember watching the Wonderful World of Disney on Saturday or Sunday, depending on markets, nights as a child. I am praying for the Daily Wire in hopes of getting honest family entertainment back on the streaming channels.
The irony when Rachel actually is very talented and has the voice of a princess. The little mermaid actress is probably the most talented Disney princess they’ve ever had. Brett is neither an actress nor a singer. She’s just white. That’s not talent. That’s literally just a white hire. Hired on the basis of being white.

The good thing about small indi movies is that,as they lack the budget for over bearing VFX,they make use of practical effects and real locations,I am sure there are a lots and lots of places on the earth that encapsulate the beauty and the charm of the snow-white's world.if they can pull that off,it would be a lot better than a CGI world and at a lot lower expenses.
hmm snow white is a german story, so it plays in germany. there is no snow whites world, it is just germany a few 100 years ago. it just means there are many places that would look like it in reality.

I figure the most of Disney's budget will go towards excessive VFX. The Daily Wire's budget will probably be more towards actual cinematography. Sometimes a good script, decent acting, and professional camerawork can go a long way in spite of a smaller budget.
im going to fully support that project, just because im sick and tired of disney acting like we are their biaches and they can give us mediocre products so we consume them regardless of the quality
I've been following Bret for a few years, and am very excited to see her in a feature film. I'm guessing it will do better at the box office.

The Daily Wire version won’t look like a big budget movie but that’s going to be its advantage . It’s like one of those Hallmark Christmas movies that only sell to a niche audience but profits enough for more to be made all the time. And it’s something that may get more viewers the more mainstream media try to avoid it or put it down because people will be curious of it and try to compare it to Disney’s by themselves.
The fact that Kristen Stewart of all people even managed to do Snow White somewhat right by getting the basics right.
The Daily Wire is dropping $100M on childrens programming. I'm betting that even if the effects aren't as good, the story and acting will more than make up for it.

i'm on that though as well, i don't think they have the budget for mass marketing that Disney has, but who knows, if it turns out to be good or at least decent, people might promote it enough that it makes a good enough cash to encourage more productions and, maybe more successful movies.

I have only watched one dailywire movie and that was 'Terror on the Prairie' starring Gina Carano, it wasn't a big budge film but it also didn't feel like a B movie so I have hope.
That was a surprisingly pretty good movie.

Ok to be fair I have seen alot of independent film being made on UA-cam that I have greatly enjoyed, they may look under budget but I see the passion and love put into it. Even some of the stories I have greatly enjoyed. I hope Brett Cooper’s Snow White succeeds. I really really do.
The thing is which one made the biggest profit? Will it be the Disney 300 million movie or the Daily Wire 80 million. My bet is on the 80 million. Smaller budget with more hype seems a better chance for profit.

That's like The Jungle Book.vs Mowgli movie. The Mowgli movie was actually written better and had a darker tone to it and overall with a way lower budget. Snow White and The Evil Queen may have the same success
The Jungle Book remake was great, in my opinion. But it was hardly a remake of the 1967 classic, it was actually a very different movie based on the same source material and making a few references to the 1967 version.

I don't think you need a big budget. It's not a marvel movie with space aliens and nano technology. At most you need a little bit of magical effects for the evil queen that UA-camrs could do.
