victoria hjalmarsson Imagine the rainstorms boost the plant growth, or winter can kill off some plants. I'd love for this to happen! Also, farmer's markets that your Sim can attend and make some money from. It would be perfect for the country style that Cats and Dogs and Laundry Day were going for.

THIS IS THE MOST RELEVANT PACK THEY’VE EVER MADE (apart from cats and dogs which to me feels incomplete) I hope they release University next, I’d love to see newly improved Fratertinities and Sororities/ Dormitories/ University World etc.
They really went all out on this expansion and really thought through everything they’re putting in and everything they’re not!! I’m so excited and great job to the sims team!!

I assume they either use the City Living-technique and place them on public spaces (like playgrounds etc) or they have to be placed on lots and maxis created a bunch

Have they ever mentioned whether aging would be affected? If a sim is born in winter, and you can add birthdays to the calendar (i think that was mentioned somewhere else), can you set it for the sim to age up only in winter? I know technically you can play with aging off to get the effect of that happening, but just wondering.
Coralia Theophile The aging will be the same. Say winter is 7 sim days and baby sims always age up in 3 days(with normal lifespan), the sim baby will age up in winter. Same with all the other life states. Your sim’s birthday will automatically be on the calendar but you can set a birthday party before they age automatically.

They are not giving him codes anymore because he's being honest.
They'll likely give several UA-camrs early access like they've done in the past. I'm kind of hoping Iron Seagull will be one of them because he's pretty honest about what he thinks.
He's gonna buy it either way even if not given an early release unless someone decides to gift it to him. Besides lately they seem to give early access codes to people who've asked for it that or you happen to be part of the game changers.

Doubt it's that. Besides most channels who do a lot of sim related stuff have the EA game changers and doubt he wants that logo on his videos anyway. He's been doing reviews since the sims 3. Him not getting access codes doesn't really affect anything.

Me too! I can't play, I hold everything on pause until seasons to be able to continue my story with that.
I haven't played the game in over a year... mainly because I was specifically anticipating Seasons to be the next expansion pack (due to the hints found in Cats & Dogs). When I bought Cats & Dogs, I decided to keep holding off from actually playing until Seasons was released... and BAM!

Itz Polaris I've been playing but I've turned ageing off for all my saves because I don't want any of my sims to age up before experiencing seasons.
I love the person doing the voice over, they do a great job.
I can't wait to make outdoor retreat winter styled cabins and have my Sims camp in the winter! 😁

Sim guru grant said you can have a Christmas during the summer. You can customise all the holidays to your liking. I’m in the same boat I live in nz, but I think I’ll still want to enjoy a white Christmas.
Oh great!!! Haha I was so excited at being able to create new holidays so I could do a summer Christmas (Aussie :P), but from the trailer I suddenly wasn't sure if we were able to remove currently existing holidays... right back to full hype ahead then!!

I can finally create Hanukkah for my sims! I'm so excited! I think this expansion pack will help me learn to love The Sims again. I haven't been very impressed by The Sims 4 so far, but for once, I'm actually excited for a new game!

As usual, everyone complaining about things NOT included. You have seen 2 trailers - TWO. They aren't going to show all of the content, there's plenty you haven't seen. Wait until you get the game and THEN complain. God Sims 4 fans are annoying.
Lol, thing is most people probably aren't even Sims 4 fans is the unfortunate part about it that and I'm not understanding why people want an exact replica of Sims 3 seasons wanting to pay the same money for the same things for the same pack?

I get people like certain objects from previous games (I do too honestly), but I can't see myself paying for the same thing all the time. Probably a few that seem like they should be there (diving boards NO idea if they came back). More so the people that complain about everything rather than legit concerns.
I get what you're saying, but I doubt there is much more than what they advertised, if there were more awesome things they would have announced it from the rooftops so we'd buy it. The sims 4 has been notorious for its lack of depth ;), so I get why people are wary.

I personally think they show a lot of big features on trailers and there's not a lot else "activities" to be expected except maybe special animations for custom holidays.
Also season sims 3 were really good and filled with activities so I don't see the problem in wanting to find the best of them in sims 4.
Adrian I think that it’s just because snow is very difficult to animate. Movie animators had to make their own software and study snow before they could nail it to the ground. I’m sure that it won’t affect the gameplay.

Oh i'm so excited about bouquets! I hope they can be put in vases and the like! I have so many flowers that I just end up selling because you can't do anything with them.
This is looking a lot better than I anticipated and I was already excited. Even with the weather, they're focusing on being able to make your own holidays and festive gatherings which seem WAY more interesting than throwing a party, since there's no check list in 'do this and do that'.
Sims actually focusing and doing this what said holiday traditions call for is awesome. That and it's not even restricted to just holidays seems like you can make your own events now rather than restricted to certain party tasks. I am living for it.
Also the coarse, curly and thicker hairs have me in love. That toddler one for the little girl isn't like anything I've seen.
