It was a mixture of profoundly sad and completely ridiculous. And how astounding that the practice of spiritism (pharmakia) seems increasingly likely to be made a requirement if one wants to attend meetings - if not even to be baptised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses!
I agree 😒 . Last year seeing the org push the you know what , had me go 😱 and after that I was 🤯 because there is no way they are "truth" as long as they are spreading lies from the media. Then I was open to hearing what else was going on, that they are getting wrong... with the help of videos on YT. Last meeting I attended by zoom , a lady was in her LR by herself wearing her 😷 and I just couldn't after that. If I went back to the KH it would be without that slave muzzle on my face, NO hand sanitizer ( that stuff is bad for our skin) ,no social distancing etc... If they require that to enter, well guess I'm gonna be destroyed at Armageddon bc I drew the line at the muzzle & refuse to virtue signal / participate in LIES, just because it makes others feel "safe". It's no different than if they started requiring all of us wear Christmas sweaters to the meetings. Im not gonna do it.
Agree how much these meetings have changed from professional to rebbot the organization and along the path of the world agenda. They have captured a huge amount of people's. I was born in and left the organization about 20 years ago and am now 65. During my time in there were a lot of accomplished speakers and communicators and at least that was a benefit of the training we received in public speaking. Listening to this man is like watching an episode of Mr Rogers neighbourhood as he speaks down to his audience like they were children. Surely, this can't go unnoticed by the organization that puts him forward as a spiritual leader?

Dear mr. Martin I often lissen to your videos. I appreciate your work and your encouragement. Before the covid19 I had started a "Bible study" with a jwsister. But the pandemy saved me from falling into their lies. While talking with the lady on the telephone, I started researching the history and doctrines of this organitation. They are deceitful in every way. I thank Jesus, every day, from saving me. As for the video, I would ask mr. Splane :" Are you sayng that all the rank and files jws who died, due to covid19, where not protected from Jeova, because not following your advice? Are you sayng that Jeova backs you, while you stopped the gatherings in the Halls and the door to door preaching, weeks after the pandemic was announced from the " wordly" WHO?" And they are only on that highway of holiness when they are listening and following that word of God.

Just heard a report that the Amish did not fallow all the guidelines and they got covid. But due to not changing how they live they do not have deaths from covid. They did not stop meeting together in person.
Reason why he had to ask if God cares about JWs physical needs is because they have ALWAYS said his main priority is spiritual health and they always say that God will save his people as a group not as individuals. So most JWs don't see themselves as cared for by God unless they are part of the group and even that isn't 100% guaranteed. Sigh. This organization is so messed up in every way.

Yes, I've noticed how they reference the organization as "Jehovah", and how they seem to believe the organization is Jehovah. That's why they call JWs who leave apostates, because to them leaving the organization is the same as leaving God Himself. In some cases there are some who leave God, because the organization has poisoned them against God, and if you ask me, they have also defiled the name "Jehovah", at least for me. God has so many names. Because of the JWs, Jehovah is not one that I personally prefer to use. But getting back, many who leave the JWs find the true God, and leaving the organization makes no one an apostate. And yes, the letter writing that they submit as time to the organization to get their hours in. Could you imagine such a thing? Imagine Jesus logging his time?...and the apostles? It's just so crazy.

If you go to the webpage on the official website it reads, "A Governing Body member reflects on how Jehovah has been directing his organization throughout the pandemic. He also shares encouraging results from the pilot program to resume in-person meetings. Notice they didn't capitalize His. They said, "his" and not "His." Been checking daily if they corrected the error, and yet to be addressed.

I rather agree with Robert King that the apostasy must come first, the organization is Jehovah’s, the Man of Lawlessness abounds in the corporation (which is the idol that JWs look to) and that Jehovah will be separating those who worship and follow the idol rather than looking to/following Christ. But that does not mean you throw the baby out with the bath water. Rather we must use our power of discernment and keep on the watch even if we become disfellowshipped because we are accused of apostasy. However, never abruptly leave and then turn to Satan or some other misguided congregation who perhaps don’t even know that Jesus is Jesus and Jehovah is Jehovah.
We were warned however to quit touching the unclean thing. remaining in the Organization is in direct disobedience to the Christ.. Get out from among them My people... a very hard pill to swallow but neccessary for our salvation!!!!

I was a former black sheep of the JW faith. I was associated with them for many years childhood my aunt introduced us...she has recently parted. I was thinking of returning, I dissociated many years ago. After Baptism the party ended! I was not the "ideal" sheep. I have always been shy, meek, kind and thoughtful young and effeminate. That being said they were really nice to me! I partook of the emblems not because I wanted to rule with Christ in Heaven but because I wanted to be in a place were I was wanted and Loved. In all the years I was baptized no one ever came by to visit rub me with oil or anything! Not even a phone call! I became more lonely and depressed....brothers I was willing to die for but they for me. I think not! Now I still feel lost and angry! Dupped by a Billion Dollar publishing company! After several Memorials and a couple if visits to the Kingdom Hall and the things I've since learned about Watchtower I have come to the the conclusion that Watchtower watches out for it's own skin, assets and egos....not children or it's sheep. They don't feed the poor they charge for things they claim are free. Swindle the Brethren out of thier Houses put out unkind and unloving policies! It all started with facial hair .....why can't a man have facial hair and serve the Lord! How do I deal with all these negative feelings and could you do a video on this subject. Dear Paul, your comment touched me, thanks for sharing. I can relate to your experience. I too felt lonely even when a part of that organisation, because I too didn't quite fit the 'ideal'. Please rest assured though that many in the Bible also felt rejected and alone. Think of Joseph, Job, Jonah, Elijah, Stephen, and our ultimate example, Jesus, abandoned by everyone in his hour of greatest need. BUT who was the real source of their strength, who NEVER left them on their own? May He bless and comfort you too.

Hi Mark. I am appreciating your channel and your calm teaching style. But about the issue of how Covid has been handled by the GB I have a different perspective. In 2020 as soon as we saw the news reports of how deadly Covid was, I felt fear that the GB would keep business as usual regarding in person meetings and public preaching. I held my breath in fear they would ignore the science and the cdc here in the US. I was pleasantly surprised and greatly relieved when they told us to follow the cdc guidelines which put value of life where I believe Jesus would want it. I don’t understand your criticism of their direction regarding Covid.
Hello Cicely Ryan, My criticism is not as to whether one gets jab'd or not. My criticism is this; the organization claims, "the choice is yours". Then, in the same sentence they state that the vast majority of the Bethel family has been fully jab'd. The gb knows exactly how the majority of the rank and file JW's will process this statement. If one is honest, (which it sounds like you are) then one will understand that this statement encourages the JW to follow the bethel family rather than do their own research to see if this is a good decision for each individual or not. They are doing what the news media and governments are doing rather than allowing an unbiased decision and choice to be made. Please understand that I firmly believe that this is a personal decision and I would not persuade someone either way by publicly stating what I and my family have chosen to do in this regard. This could potentially be disastrous as each person is different and may have adverse reactions whether jab'd or not. In the USA where I live, each person "should" have the right to decide without being influenced by church or state. Unfortunately, as a country those who live here in the USA where I live are losing these freedoms. The JW's have already lost their freedom from being ruled by the church because they are ruled by the gb! I hope this helps to clarify your thoughts on my position. What Kept me going to the meetings was that there no other religious group that worshiped or praised the God and Father of our Lord Jesus... Today salvation is very simple John 3: 16 " For God loved the World so much that he gave his Only Begotten Son. So that EVERYONE who believes in HIM may not be Lost but may have Eternal Life... and of cause Not Practicing Sin...
I was born in and left the organization about 20 years ago and am now 65. During my time in there were a lot of accomplished speakers and communicators and at least that was a benefit of the training we received in public speaking. Listening to this man is like watching an episode of Mr Rogers neighbourhood as he speaks down to his audience like they were children. Surely, this can't go unnoticed by the organization that puts him forward as a spiritual leader?

But the pandemy saved me from falling into their lies. While talking with the lady on the telephone, I started researching the history and doctrines of this organitation. They are deceitful in every way. I thank Jesus, every day, from saving me. As for the video, I would ask mr. Splane :" Are you sayng that all the rank and files jws who died, due to covid19, where not protected from Jeova, because not following your advice? Are you sayng that Jeova backs you, while you stopped the gatherings in the Halls and the door to door preaching, weeks after the pandemic was announced from the " wordly" WHO?" Instead in the light of God‘s Word of truth, they should be questioning the veracity of David Splane and the other members of the Governing Body for veering off that highway of holiness, and not hearing that voice behind them saying,
“ and your own ears will hear a word behind you saying: this is the way. Walk in it, you people, in case you people should go to the right or in case you should go to the left.” Isaiah 30:21.
That word behind them, is the word of God!
And they are only on that highway of holiness when they are listening and following that word of God.

Reason why he had to ask if God cares about JWs physical needs is because they have ALWAYS said his main priority is spiritual health and they always say that God will save his people as a group not as individuals. So most JWs don't see themselves as cared for by God unless they are part of the group and even that isn't 100% guaranteed. Sigh. This organization is so messed up in every way.

Anxious to get back to in person meetings, possibly only those double jabbed? If so, imagine the unity of the brothers with those who opted out of the jab? I mean, what could possibly go wrong? Yes, I've noticed how they reference the organization as "Jehovah", and how they seem to believe the organization is Jehovah. That's why they call JWs who leave apostates, because to them leaving the organization is the same as leaving God Himself. In some cases there are some who leave God, because the organization has poisoned them against God, and if you ask me, they have also defiled the name "Jehovah", at least for me. God has so many names. Because of the JWs, Jehovah is not one that I personally prefer to use. But getting back, many who leave the JWs find the true God, and leaving the organization makes no one an apostate. And yes, the letter writing that they submit as time to the organization to get their hours in. Could you imagine such a thing? Imagine Jesus logging his time?...and the apostles? It's just so crazy.

I rather agree with Robert King that the apostasy must come first, the organization is Jehovah’s, the Man of Lawlessness abounds in the corporation (which is the idol that JWs look to) and that Jehovah will be separating those who worship and follow the idol rather than looking to/following Christ. But that does not mean you throw the baby out with the bath water. Rather we must use our power of discernment and keep on the watch even if we become disfellowshipped because we are accused of apostasy. However, never abruptly leave and then turn to Satan or some other misguided congregation who perhaps don’t even know that Jesus is Jesus and Jehovah is Jehovah.
We were warned however to quit touching the unclean thing. remaining in the Organization is in direct disobedience to the Christ.. Get out from among them My people... a very hard pill to swallow but neccessary for our salvation!!!!

I was a former black sheep of the JW faith. I was associated with them for many years childhood my aunt introduced us...she has recently parted. I was thinking of returning, I dissociated many years ago. After Baptism the party ended! I was not the "ideal" sheep. I have always been shy, meek, kind and thoughtful young and effeminate. That being said they were really nice to me! I partook of the emblems not because I wanted to rule with Christ in Heaven but because I wanted to be in a place were I was wanted and Loved. In all the years I was baptized no one ever came by to visit rub me with oil or anything! Not even a phone call! I became more lonely and depressed....brothers I was willing to die for but they for me. I think not! Now I still feel lost and angry! Dupped by a Billion Dollar publishing company! After several Memorials and a couple if visits to the Kingdom Hall and the things I've since learned about Watchtower I have come to the the conclusion that Watchtower watches out for it's own skin, assets and egos....not children or it's sheep. They don't feed the poor they charge for things they claim are free. Swindle the Brethren out of thier Houses put out unkind and unloving policies! It all started with facial hair .....why can't a man have facial hair and serve the Lord! How do I deal with all these negative feelings and could you do a video on this subject. Dear Paul, your comment touched me, thanks for sharing. I can relate to your experience. I too felt lonely even when a part of that organisation, because I too didn't quite fit the 'ideal'. Please rest assured though that many in the Bible also felt rejected and alone. Think of Joseph, Job, Jonah, Elijah, Stephen, and our ultimate example, Jesus, abandoned by everyone in his hour of greatest need. BUT who was the real source of their strength, who NEVER left them on their own? May He bless and comfort you too.

Hi Mark. I am appreciating your channel and your calm teaching style. But about the issue of how Covid has been handled by the GB I have a different perspective. In 2020 as soon as we saw the news reports of how deadly Covid was, I felt fear that the GB would keep business as usual regarding in person meetings and public preaching. I held my breath in fear they would ignore the science and the cdc here in the US. I was pleasantly surprised and greatly relieved when they told us to follow the cdc guidelines which put value of life where I believe Jesus would want it. I don’t understand your criticism of their direction regarding Covid.

My criticism is not as to whether one gets jab'd or not. My criticism is this; the organization claims, "the choice is yours". Then, in the same sentence they state that the vast majority of the Bethel family has been fully jab'd. The gb knows exactly how the majority of the rank and file JW's will process this statement. If one is honest, (which it sounds like you are) then one will understand that this statement encourages the JW to follow the bethel family rather than do their own research to see if this is a good decision for each individual or not. They are doing what the news media and governments are doing rather than allowing an unbiased decision and choice to be made.
Please understand that I firmly believe that this is a personal decision and I would not persuade someone either way by publicly stating what I and my family have chosen to do in this regard. This could potentially be disastrous as each person is different and may have adverse reactions whether jab'd or not. In the USA where I live, each person "should" have the right to decide without being influenced by church or state. Unfortunately, as a country those who live here in the USA where I live are losing these freedoms. The JW's have already lost their freedom from being ruled by the church because they are ruled by the gb! I hope this helps to clarify your thoughts on my position.
