Yep, Miele machines are tested by having their door slammed 30,000 times....trust me, I slam the door of my Miele about 10x harder, been doing it for the past 5 years and nothing has ever happened to it :). If you did it to a Bush or Bosch....it'd break the door after about 10 slams
