These hooks will compete against each other in a tensile strength battle.

Usually 8mm metal hooks are rated for 160kg, of course, there is a safety factor, but there are fantastic designs, there is a small chance, that a pair of strong plastic hooks will be stronger ;-)
I saw a tweet from them mentioning that it can go up to 350kg but many printed hook did more than that lol

My setup will only do 500kg and I straightened out the metal hooks long before that and had to use shackles. I could also write a paper about not being in the same room with a stored energy device....LOL!

I wonder what Polymaker will do when (not if) the steel S-hooks fail before the plastic hooks. There are some designs that just won't work with anything but an S-hook.

Yeah there's not a lot of information, they said that they will be live streaming on the 17th(no exact time) so hopefully, that means they'll be showing the hooks being pulled apart live.
