you know that feeling when you search for 1 thing all day but you only find "personal shows" of pro artists and their sponsored video, right?... and at the end of the day you just find a video explains everything you need in 2 minutes. that's what i experienced today. thank you so much for this video. i subbed and leave a like. thank you soooo much!
and additional tip for this, when you make a selection with wand if there is a gap between your line and paint, after selecting the area you want, go to select > modify > expand (depends of your canvas size, expand 1 or 2 pixels or more to get your selection under your linework. (i search that a lot maybe that info will be good for community.)
This video is like a life saver for me 😭 I always ran away from coloring because I found it difficult, little did I know that I could make the entire process so much easier
Question: why not just use the magic wand to select an area that's already filled with a base colour and then shade on another layer? It seems I achieve the same result with the an equal amount of effort or less. Is there a difference?
So much NOT SUCKING going on here. Also, I never thought of putting the layers panel off to the left where they obviously belong...I love it. But I hate that your videos are even more concise than mine. The Force is strong with this one...
Hi LEE! Can you please make a tutorial using the strobe light effect in AE to create nightclub lights. I've been searching youtube for a couple hours and can't find anybody teaching it well. Thanks a lot! Your tuts are game changing.
Adobe Photoshop 2024 (Windows 11), I can't select anything in the new layer with the wand for detail. All the previous steps work until creating "clipping stacks". The wand will just select the entire canvas and not any inked parts. Only the details in the initial ink layer can be selected. I'm wondering if clipping stacks was an actual bug and they just fixed it since it seems like it shouldn't work that way to begin with?
may seem like a simple question but when I'm drawing a character on PS I can't seem to keep the black outline the same width, I'm all over the place. So how can I keep my brush the same constant width so it doesn't look all sloppy? thanks!
You can use a brush that isn’t ‘tapered’ at the edges. If you mean the straightness of the line, all I can suggest is practicing broader strokes. When inking, practice is really the only good solution ;)
@@LeeDanielsART some of my subs were asking about tips on animation also and where I learned a lot of stuff, I'll throw a shout out on my next video to you. Don't know why i didnt do it sooner
